Sun-kissed Splash Cocktail
Lorie C.

Came on a beautiful Friday night around 6:00 and was able to sit outside overlooking the water. We were able to snag the last table with an umbrella. As the patio has full afternoon sun I would suggest they offer more umbrellas. There were plenty of other tables available but everyone wanted the shade on a hot day. There were 3 of us. Two shared the calamari and ordered the perch dinner and said it was good. I ordered the Sun-kissed Splash cocktail and it was very good. I ordered for dinner the coconut shrimp. They give you 8 pieces as an appetizer which was plenty for me as a dinner. They were good, not best I've had as shrimp texture was a little soft. Our server was fine. But more help is needed clearing/cleaning tables and the ground especially being outside attracting flies. It is a beautiful setting on the water. That was the main attraction for me.

Oreo peanut butter cup

A sports bar but with gourmet food menu is how I would describe this place plus excellent views if you're dining outside during nice weather. I was impressed with their menu it was some classic dishes but some elevated choices like the goat & fig flatbread which was really good. The short rib and pork bolognese was delicious and very meaty. If they aren't making their own pasta they are definitely using a very high quality pasta. The salmon was good but needed a little more salt to balance out the flavor. And last but not least which was the recommended by our fantastic server is the Oreo peanut butter cup. Decadent and delicious, smooth peanut buttery filling with Oreo in a chocolate shell. I would recommend to anyone who loves chocolate and peanut butter.

Where do I begin. I'm writing this after leaving from sitting 50 minutes with only being acknowledged by the busboy (who was fantastic). We stood inside for about ten minutes with literally nobody saying a word to us until one waitress came in and yelled across the room to seat ourselves. Take note of the sign in the photo attached that says Please Wait to be Seated. So, we went outside to a dirty table (the busboy promptly cleaned it and was super nice to talk to). From there, I had to ask a waitress who was nearby for menus after 15 minutes. Finally, 40 minutes into our lovely experience, another server asked if anyone had been to us and took our drink order. After another ten minutes, the menu girl from earlier (who was serving the table next to us mind you) asked us if we had been helped. We told her not to worry that we were leaving. We did see the other server with our drinks as we left and told her not to worry about bringing them and she seemed genuinely shocked we were leaving but apologized. This was our first time here and definitely will be our only time. Can't rate the food as we were never even able to order!

Heard this place opened up this summer and had the chance to finally check it out! Was greeted with friendly faces had a beautiful bar to hangout at if you'd like. We chose to hangout on the patio where it looks like they have plenty of space and even area for live music. Service was great during lunch and everything the came out tasted great. This is going to be to be a new favorite spot nearby!

Went here to meet up with some new friends. Surprised they had a good amount of vegetarian options. Could have a bit more for us but the vibe here was good. Great patio and nice music playing inside. The service bit slow and took a moment for the food. Would not mind retuning her for a few drinks and nice view of the water.

As a local, I was so excited to see Gino's open up again last year! The ambience is fun with their live music and DJ's and they have plenty of outside seating that gives you beautiful lake views! I have been many times for the pizza which is delicious and they make the dough in-house. The Bianca Pizza and the veggie pizza are my favorite!

Well, good view outside for sure. Vast outdoor area that can accommodate large private parties. Bar outside. Staff great. Ladies were young and cheerful and helpful. Food good. Nachos looked amazing. Filet Mignon hit the spot. Crème Brulee was delicious.

8/25 Soft opening this weekend, grand opening on Sept. 20th. They're still working out the bugs in service as expected with any new restaurant with a soft opening. Very nice renovation, beautiful large patio with plenty of seating overlooking the lake. Comfortable patio couches lining the lake front edge of patio and an outdoor bar on the side. Indoor is spacious with again plenty of high top, standard tables, booths, large wrap around bar in the center. TV's lined up next to each other on the top of the walls, great for sports watching crowds. This is a very nice place for drinks and food with a beautiful view.

Good service, bar food, beautiful view, dirty place. Tables not cleaned, dust on the menus, staff not working, dancing in the halls.

He helped me figure out how much food I needed to feed my guests. I ended up going with a cookout-style menu. He made great suggestions, like replacing regular size burgers with sliders to appeal to adults and kids, and they could get a taste of everything else that I was serving. The sliders, toppings, buns, and chicken breasts were arranged so beautifully that I put away my serving platters and set out the takeout trays. The food was delicious and a lot of my guests commented on how nice everything looked and how good the food tasted. The price was very fair and I didn't have to cook or clean much. Pasta and salad sides also were fair priced. All the proteins were gluten-free, dairy, free, and nut free. I will make a note, we didn't discuss temperature of the burgers so this was my fault, and I am only stating so that anyone else who orders makes sure to add that to conversation. the sliders were pink inside. I will order them well done next time, no pink, for the sake of them being in a warmer for the duration of the party and keeping leftovers for the next day. The leftover chicken and sliders were just as good the next day.

Being right…read moreon the water gives it a lot of potential, and the setting itself is definitely the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, the food is pretty forgettable and could use some improvement. The service also feels like it's gone a little stale. Some of the staff seem like they've been there forever and are simply going through the motions rather than trying to create a great experience. The restaurant also comes across more like a personal hangout for the owner and his friends than a place that's focused on constantly improving the guest experience. There's a lot of emphasis on the owner's name and presence, but not enough on the food, service, and overall operation. Great location and atmosphere, especially in the summer, but the rest of the experience doesn't quite live up to the setting.

Don't get excited over the food, it's just okay. The round pizza was no big deal, chicken fingers straight from the food service freezer truck, the ground beef nachos sucked. My original review was far more ambivalent. Having gone there several times now, I realize I wrote…read moreit in haste. The innovation in food here is unexpected and outstanding and needs to be experienced. First, the ambiance ... it's a neighborhood bar and grill with a Rat Pack/Mafia theme. Kinda cheesy, but hey, it beats the standard themes you see in bars and chain restaurants. Not my thing, but then again, they have a poster about wisdom from The Godfather. That's cool. The waitstaff is, by and large, pretty good. Had a couple of unremarkable experiences, but by and large, servers are nice, attentive and friendly. Haven't had much experience with the bar aside from getting take-out; this is where I've found service to be the weakest. Take-out orders seem to be far lower on the priority list than bar patrons. Not sure why this is; we're both paying customers, so to be treated like I'm not there is less than appreciated. But we rarely do take-out, so it's easily avoided. As for the food, it runs the gamut. You have your standard bar fare; appetizers, burgers, pizza and more general cuisine. Those burgers? MONSTERS. They only come in one size -- half-pound -- and you pick the toppings, which are generously heaped on. Six slices of bacon? Yup, that's standard. Their loaded baked potato? Easily a nine-inch potato, probably half a pound in weight. The sandwiches? How about a combination Philly cheese streak/French dip? Once you've had it, you'll never eat either sandwich separately again. How about a turkey sandwich covered in spinach-artichoke dip on a pretzel roll? The appetiers are made to share, too; the boneless wings come in a serving of eight, which is almost a meal in and of itself in other restaurants. This is just the tip of the iceberg. They have some of the most unique food in the area, and it's in the last place you'd expect. Most places, I stick with one or two dishes. I think I've had eight or nine things here, and there's a few more yet to try on my list, like the calzones and the ribs. Oh, and I did I mention there's free popcorn while you wait for your food? THERE'S FREE FRESH POPPED POPCORN WHILE YOU WAIT. This is a hidden and unexpected gem. If you haven't been, go. Now.

Went Friday 11/8, and honestly, probably won't go back. Not sure if it was a new cook, or if there was a staffing issue but everything was bad. We got seated away from the bar and our waitress could give a rats ass if we were there, slow to get another beer. Food was absolutely awful. Had the Greek pizza and it was like an undercooked cheese pizza with cold toppings and dressing poured on top, basically was doughy and cold. My kid got a "grilled" turkey sandwich, and the bread was only toasted. Have had nachos in the past, and they were drenched in canned cheese. It's like some days they just don't care, definitely have consistancy issues.
