Do not go to this place. I never went to a place where customers are treated very rudely by management. I ordered a sandwich through Door Dash and ask my wife to pick it up. My wife gives them my name but they gave her a wrong order. When my wife returned she was treated with such disrespect. Gino's has been our go to pizza place for years. I've never eaten inside the restaurant. The workers are always very friendly. And the prices are very reasonable. The standard pie is very good, but the fifth star is for the Grandma Pie. Holy crap, I cannot stress how delicious this pie is. It's a square pie with cheese baked right to the edge. The crust is not thick. The sauce, which is insane, is on top of the cheese. Honestly, my husband and I can devour a whole medium pie by ourselves. You seriously need to try this pizza. It was very good, but didn't quite live up to the hype to being called the best & would have been completely fine having never had tried it. I did try it, so now you don't have to. The ingredients were defiantly high quality and the pizza was made was out together & baked very nicely. I tried a variety of slices so I could get a good representation of their food and report back to you accurately. The plain slice was just that, plain. But like they say about sex, even if it's bad, it's good. The margarita slice was very good, the cheese & sauce complimented each other nicely. I'm not sure what that other slice I fit is called but that was my favorite. The restaurant was clean. The service was quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable. I've lived in Belleville most of my life. Gino's was my original go to since the 80s and I've never been disappointed. I moved away awhile and came back. My dad just turned 90 and we celebrated his birthday because he loves the food and he knew the original owner.Yhe guy who runs it now must be the son and he was so kind and gave my dad the upmost respect knowing we're celebrating his birthday. Whoa! Just ordered delivery based on a recommendation and am so happy I did. First of all, the delivery was faster than expected and the food was still nice and piping hot! Last but not least, they were recommended for their cauliflower crust and dare I say, i think it may be the best cauliflower crust I've had in the area! So my guys at the shop we work at in Belleville order here all the time. I also order from my personal residence as well. I order to my house on 11/29/2024. I order 2 grilled chicken wraps on spinach wraps. They come on wheat wraps . I called to let them know and the older lady who was taking orders was absolutely just not nice and kept saying that she never heard me say a spinach wraps. This place is trash. Ordered food for delivery. Ordered a 14' pie with sausage and few other items. Got a pie with extra cheese about a pound to cheese on it. The second I lifted the box it was so heavy that I knew it was extra cheese before I even open the box.(made my fair share of pizzas and deliveries). The cheese and sausage are all on one side of the box and due to the amount of cheese and being busy the pizza was under cooked. Called back politely to let them know it was wrong and the lady was extremely rude made it seem like we're crazy and told us we would have to reorder to get a new pie. How is this Buffalo wings smh make it make sense. Then the pizza is extremely bland with no sauce but idc about that. I ordered my pizza online 40min prior and when I arrived they hadn't even started the order. The only good about this place was the guy who brought out my pizza. And don't get me started on the horrible calamari that was soggy and clearly microwaved. Ordered the Blue Cheese Bacon Burger Deluxe and it was amazing. Definitely it helped that I called and placed the order in advance and it was ready by the time that I arrived. Good service as they offered to bring it to me as opposed to coming inside, even though indoor dining was open. The sandwiches they had on the menu looked too good to pass up, soni ended up with a chicken parmigiana half sandwich. Now the half sandwich is equal tona subway foot long. I've had Gino's on several occasions- for take out and dine in. This is a pretty regular pizzeria. Food is decent. Not great and not terrible. Their service - horrible! They have a girl working there who is pretty terrible for waiting on tables-- she spends most of her time complaining to someone on her cell phone about all the drama happening in her life (I'm certain I know her life story). I've also called in a take out order when I lived in the area- they're even rude over the phone. This business just gives vibes that they all hate each other at work and you feel the tension once they pick up the phone (or once you walk in). Ordered a large cheese and a large pepperoni and my family and I were completely satisfied ! The cheese was so tasty and extra cheeeesy, we couldn't help ourselves and demolished both pizzas in like 10-15 min. They were also very generous with the pepperoni. Average cost per person varies but I'll wing it and guess $9-$15 per person. Here's a quick list of things we love from Gino's: - Margarita and Pepperoni pies. - Rock shrimp. A lovely buttery and garlicky shrimp dish. Awesome for proteins only on a cheat day. - Baked ziti w/meat sauce. What's not love with pasta, cheesy cheese and meat sauce? This pasta dish is awesome and makes for great leftovers. - Penne a la vodka with chicken. Good sauce and plenty of chicken, simply seasoned. Gino's has never disappointed us regarding flavors, portions, service and delivery time frames. They also stay open pretty late, matter of fact later than their competitors I believe. We mainly order takeout here, but they also have tables in case you'd like to dine in. I believe they can accommodate a small group of 4-8 and still have enough seats for 2-3 couples. I'm always on the prowl for a good Italian restaurant and pizzeria. About a year ago, I was in an elevator with a now former member of the New York Giants. He was carrying a pizza box and a few bags with Italian food. So, being the inquisitive person that I am, I struck up a conversation and asked him where the delicious smelling food came from. His response, Gino's Pizzeria in Belleville. Fast forward a year, and we finally made it to Gino's for dinner one evening. We decided to try entrées instead of pizza. I had one of the specials, Gnocchi with Chicken and Pesto Sauce and my husband had Ziti with Meat Sauce. Both dishes were massive and there was enough food left over for another meal. We both really liked our respective dishes. We were also given a basket of bread and butter to start. The waitresses were extremely friendly and attentive. Our drinks were refilled before they were even empty. I'm looking forward to returning to try the pizza and the rest of the menu. read more

One of my favorite pizza spots around! Great flavor with decent prices. It is the right balance of cheese and sauce. The crust is not too thick, which makes it perfect to devour a few slices in a sitting. I've tried a few of their specialty pizzas which are great too. One of my favorites is the bruchetta pizza and white pizza. Don't forget their garlic knots too. They do other Italian specialties and have a decent sized seating area inside. Sadly, parking is hit or miss in this area and delivery takes an eternity, so just bring a friend when you come pick up your pizza. I went to this pizzeria in order to order 2 pepperoni slices. My Stepfather (who lives only about 1 mile from us) has been craving something different since this whole COVID-19 quarantine and wanted something different tonight.) I've also been quarantined for 3 weeks now and wanted to get out of the house so I complied and left to get him his request. (We've both been stuck in the house without really going to even minuscule for awhile.) I decided to get him ONE SLICE (since he's older with medical issues) and to split the other with my husband. Upon arrival, I noticed two young women "working" at this establishment. One was probably the one I spoke to on the phone. There was one seemingly American while the other was Mexican looking. For a visual, she had a very large torso and wide shoulders. I didn't get her name but I'm sure she wouldn't have had a problem sharing that information considering her demeanor and unprofessionalism the entire time After we had been waiting for about 25 minutes for the order to be complete, my husband decided to ask how long the slices would be ready. The Mexican looking one then went on to say that our order would be ready in 15 minutes but that all orders take long. "Ok. No problem." he and I both stated simultaneously although we had both just witnessed three (medium sized) parties come in, after us, who had requested more (no phone call orders) receive their orders and leave. She then went on to say to the party that came before us (who seemed to had only ordered a very small order as well) that all orders were ready whenever they were ready and (multiple times) began referring to Italians using a slang terminology. I couldn't believe it. I then (seconds after) received a phone call from my Mom and walked toward the window of the restaurant to take the call. My husband stood very close to where the food is brought out to make sure our food wasn't tampered with. It was only after twenty minutes, after I looked at the duration of the call on my phone, that I decided to request from the cashier/ order taker (Mexican) the estimated time in which our food would be ready. I decided to NOT approach when I heard her demean yet ANOTHER customer to her face. As soon as the customer approached to place an order the girl said to him "And, it'll be ready when it's ready." as if he's not a paying customer and as if he even placed an order yet! My Mom was confiding in me about something sensitive so I backed and went back to my car. Once we got off the phone, with at least 40 minutes on my phone call duration clock, and after my phone call ended, I started walking back toward the restaurant. As I was walking back to the shop, my husband called me and told me that not only were the two pizza slices COLD but that the Hispanic woman wasn't willing to take them back and was very rude while telling him that. Once we got back, of course the "pizza" wasn't warm or even tasty when warmed up. I give it a 4/10 at best! The staff and food is horrible. Buyer beware. read more

And when we got the food it was burnt but we didn't notice since they gave it to us with the burnt side on the bottom and the not so burnt side on the top. Horrible. The pizza was soggy and the overall flavor of the cheese was terrible. Barely any barbecue sauce on the pizza, overall one of the worst pizzas I've ate.
