Another amazing experience at this gem that is 'Smokin on the Coast' - wonderful views of the bay, friendly and wonderful people who are passionate about their food, and AMAZING FOOD!

I've been wanting to check out this cafe for a while now and today was the day. I liked that we could order at the window. This is not a vegetarian friendly place- nachos seem to be the only option. The prices are fair and the portions generous. It was a gorgeous day so we took in the sun and dined on their patio with a view. My son had the brisket sandwich- plenty of meat on it and he said it was tasty. I had the fish tacos- they were full with a lot of fish although the fish was a bit dry. I ordered a mimosa and let me tell you it could have been shared with two other people. I do not day drink much so ended up asking my son to drive us home. I'd like to return and try their breakfast menu sometime.

Great friendly spot to enjoy some delicious chowder and barbecue. Lots of parking and plenty of seating with tons of options to enjoy the beautiful view. Friendly staff feel like you're right at home with great recommendations of their yummy menu. The clam chowder is full of clams and scallops great flavor just the right creaminess

The server was friendly. She was cheerful. I got the breakfast sandwich. It had egg, bacon and cheese. It was very filling and tasty. My friend had the clam chowder. She said it was delish and very creamy We sat outside. It was a beautiful day.

Came to bodega bay and camped overnight and then went clamming at low tide. We were hungry after an early morning and needed to grab a quick bite as we made our way back to South Bay to process all the clams we got. You order at the counter and then wait for the food to come out. They have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Brisket breakfast burrito 5/5 - the star of the show. Not only is the burrito gigantic, the brisket is actually really tender as well. I don't think the burritos here get enough love but I would highly recommend it but make sure to come hungry!! Monkey bread - 4/5 - really large piece of monkey break for $8 and they heat it up for you which is nice. It includes some bits of bacon to give a sweet and salty bite Definitely want to come back again next time I'm in bodega bay for a breakfast burrito!!

Small shack like location with around only 3 tables but great for take out! Closes a bit early so good for lunch or a late lunch/early dinner. Ordered the crab sandwich 5/5 crispy butter bread, delicious crab salad and perfectly paired cheese. Husband got the piggy (bbq pork) sandwich and gave it a 5/5 for taste but it is a wet sandwich so his bun was a little soggy by the time we got it home.

We came here after whale watching and it was a recommendation from our captain. The brisket nachos were the recommendation so naturally we did not order It's a cute restaurant located at the base of the fishing port. Lots of parking and outdoor restrooms. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but if sit near the window it's the perfect sun spot if there's any humans/cats. They have local beer and they're known for their bacon monkey bread. Still haven't tried that either. The winning ticket here is the clam and scallop chowder. I would consider myself a self appropriated clam chowder connoisseur and this is the BEST chowder I've ever had in my life. They also have a wicked crab sandwich that is nestled between two buttery pieces of toast. The owner is amazing. So kind and she has the best recommendations. They smoke their brisket for 14+ hours.

This was amazing food. The tri tip was perfectly cooked, the nachos are huge and easily shareable, and the chowder was really good. Nice staff and great bay views while you eat.

Clam chowder, so thick and yummy Had it in a Bread Bowl as well, $3.50 extra

Beautiful spot with great bay views unlike some other area restaurants with a more industrial setting. All the food was excellent. Clam chowder was very good with a great hint of bacon in the savory broth intermixed with clams. The Rock Cod paella was deemed excellent and my brother in law vowed to get it again next time. My wife had the Crab Cakes which she said weren't bad. For $32 you got two 2-3 ounce Crab Cakes with a topping that tasted like a citrussy mayonnaise. If this is all you order be prepared to still have stomach hunger growls when you leave. No bread...No small salad or coleslaw on the side ! I had the Clam Chowder which was fair. Could have been hotter! I prefer a chunkier Chowder and this was more pureed. The biggest chunks of anything where the bacon bits. Very little clam meat in my bowl. Where's the beef ??....In this case clams ! I ordered the bread for $5 extra and you received about 3 ounces worth of a toasted bread. We had a pint each of tap beer and our total bill was just shy of $75. We gave it a try but won't be back.

On a whim, we stopped by after dinner to enjoy a glass of wine and the sunset. Best decision ever. The place was packed. Always a good sign. Anton found us the perfect firepit facing the bay and the setting sun. (BTW... the interior of the Lounge is jaw dropping elegant and rustic with amazing architectural designs.) Within minutes he was back with drink and dessert menus. I think he reads minds because that was exactly what we wanted. Again... such lovely customer service. Anton just knows how to make you feel special. Oh those desserts!!! I wanted one of each... but settled on the decadent sounding carrot cake. Cream cheese, toasted pineapple and candied pecans. And while we are choosing... please throw in the trio of yummy scoops of gelato!:) For the record, these eye-pleasing, delicious sweets were top shelf for sure. Every bite was thoroughly enjoyed. No leftovers:). For such an upscale venue, prices for the desserts and excellent cafè latte were surprisingly reasonable! I can hardly wait to return to Drakes for breakfast, brunch or dinner. It's rare to find a local, non-chain that specializes in hot dogs. This place is a fun, very casual, local favorite and great if you are craving a great hot dog or burger. They have an excellent selection of classic and custom hot dogs, including a legit Chicago dog, plus hand-cut fries and burgers. Everything is made fresh and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the hot dog was honestly one of the best I have had. I only wish I could make them this good at home. Seating is available both inside and outside, and the vibe is very relaxed. It is super friendly, very local, and dog-friendly in the best way. Real dogs are welcome, not just the ones on the menu. They also have a good selection of beers, which pairs nicely with the food. Parking is easy and plentiful since it is right next to the local post office. If you are looking for a casual, fun, and delicious lunch spot in Bodega Bay, The Dog House is a must-stop. One of the best hot dog joints we have been to and highly recommended.
