Got the crab sandwich, fish tacos, and chowder. The chowder was best of the three, followed by the sandwich. Good location and plenty of seating area. read more

The crab sandwich on grilled bread was wonderful we also had the clam chowder and that was good as well. It's a little pricey but tasty. We will definitely go back. read more

Took forever for my food but after a 3 hour sailing on Pacific the Clam Chowder was well needed. Sooo delish!!! Piggy sandwhich was gross though. Smelled bad. No more pulled pork for me; I will think twice. Took one bite and changed mind. Fries ok though. Thanks again for the yummy chowder! read more

Omg, that's all I have to say about this chowder! Its amazing, my boyfriend also really liked his burger, and their prices are so reasonable! Definitely reccomend supporting this small business, they're great!! read more

We were camping at Doran and decided to give Ginochio's a try for breakfast. We loved the restaurant that was in that location before. I ordered a breakfast scramble and my wife cinnamon bread. My scramble was terrible. The tri tip was dry. The potatoes had and under cooked. My wife only ate part of here meal. When we got in the car I found out why. She had found a hair in here food. This place is discussing. There are a lot of better places in Bodega Bay to eat. Don't waste you money on this greasy spoon! Needs a minus star! read more

Found this place on Yelp and the reviews didn't let us down. Really good breakfast, large portions and a good price. Very clean and a wonderful location. I'd recommend you get off the main road and stop in. read more

Brisket sandwich was on point . Ravioli was also good and a lot for the price . Hidden gem

Was searching for a quick and affordable breakfast in Bodega Bay. Decided to give Ginochio's a try after reading about it on Yelp. I'm extremely happy that I did! The restaurant itself is clean, casual, and has an amazing view of the bay. I came on a Saturday morning and there was only one other party in the restaurant. You order at the counter and the seating is self serve. I prefer a heartier breakfast, so I went with the breakfast burrito with tri tip. The burrito was the perfect size. Not small, but not too big. Everything inside the burrito was delicious (eggs, tri tip, etc). There was also a pretty solid selection of hot sauces available, a breakfast burrito necessity. I left satisfied. It's difficult to find a quality, quick, affordable breakfast or lunch in Bodega Bay. Ginichio's definitely its all of those things. I can't wait to come back sometime for lunch or dinner to give their BBQ and pasta a try. read more

We enjoyed a lovely lunch today at Ginochio's. My husband and I shared the fish tacos, pulled pork sandwich and the "off menu" item, crab fries. Our friends had the pulled pork sandwich and nachos. Let me tell you, the food was amazing! The crab fries had generous crab portions and the fries were delicious and crispy. The fish tacos were filled with moist, delicious fish- so good! The pulled pork, "Piggy" was perfectly smoky and omg, the coleslaw was the best I'd ever had, it had a smokiness to it that was unique and to die for. My friends devoured their food too and raved about it. The ower came out personally to greet us, we talked for a good 5 minutes, she shared with us that she serves local Covid members of her community free meals and does other philanthropic work throughout her community- all the more reason to support this small business! Their food alone is hands down, delicious, but it's also made with such love and by re ally great people. Definitely give them a try! I highly reccomend. read more

Why do they not have non-alcoholic beer? I will bring my own next time! The chowder was good but would've been better with a beer but as a designated driver I don't drink when I'm with my kids! read more

A quaint place in a perfect location on the bay with ample parking. The owner, Patty was super friendly and accommodating! The food has an Italian flare, which we enjoyed. Would definately recommend and return. read more

Food was not as good as in past year. We went a Friday and Sunday. They also were out of monkey bread on a Sunday at 9:00 AM. Need to find new place in Bodega Bay. read more

We had eaten a lot of seafood in a few days and had read Ginochio's Kitchen had smoked Pulled Pork so off we went for lunch. My husband loves smoked meats and pork is a favorite. Coming right up one order of "The Piggy". Pulled pork done good and slow with a special perfected seasoning topped with homemade cole slaw on a toasted brioche bun. We split the sandwich. It was tender, tasty and messy. Add to that an order of Alicia's Crackling Nachos and a nap will be in order. I opted for 50/50, half brisket and half TriTip, corn tortilla chips, sour cream, guacamole, chipotle sauce and shredded cheese. Honestly it was enough for four and we couldn't do it justice. But it was so good!!! There are several more great things on the menu that we are anxious to get back and try. You honestly feel the hard work and the love put into the food here. Outside tables overlooking the harbor add to a nice ambience. read more

Very tasty breakfasts with a beautiful view of the Bay. It is very informal. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you. Best of all are the friendly people who work there. We will be back. read more

Talk about growing into a perfect fit! This is an exceptional find for tourists and locals alike. The food is great, the service and people are wonderful, the prices are better than anywhere in West County and the scenery rocks! Just a left or right turn off the beaten path of Highway One and arguably the best breakfasts within miles of Bodega Bay. 7 DAYS A WEEK!!! Exceptional quality and value. read more

One of our favorite places when in Bodega Bay. Very good food and extremely friendly people. We love to visit here.

Came here for an early breakfast. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the coffee was great (unlimited refills), and the bathrooms were clean. It was a great experience. read more

Ginochio's Kitchen - Seafood Near Me - Bodega Bay, California

Great location on the east side of bodega bay. Small seating area inside with about 4 tables, but outside there is extensive wind protected seating. The menu and kitchen is small, this is a friendly family run kind of place. My son and I had a tri tip sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich respectively. They were yummy. Nice place for bbq. Good bbq sauce, good clean restrooms. Not much in terms of pasta on the menu, or bakery goods, but as a breakfast or lunch sandwich place this harbor nook cafe is solid. read more

Breakfast to die for here today. We had home smoked brisket hash with eggs over easy followed by caramel bacon monkey bread. The brisket was smoky and moist and a wonderful change from corned beef. The sweet/savory of caramel and bacon was positively orgasmic! This is a very small family operation and everything is homemade. The owner and his staff could not have been friendlier, sharing many smoking techniques with my husband. We are going to try to make the hash at home since we live 6 hours away! If you are in the neighborhood, don't miss this place. We are so glad we skipped out of our stuffy high priced hotel and went into town! read more

Tasty, but hard to find little spot. Very nice and somewhat unique breakfast menu with some very good smoked meats in burrito or hash format. Worth a stop if your in the area. read more

Great food, great people, beautiful location! Our group of 5 stopped at Ginochio's after an unseasonably cool, rainy day of sightseeing along the coast. The owners were super-friendly and kind enough to serve us even though it was near closing time. The Italian seafood chowder was superb with a creamy base and lots of shrimp and scallops - perfect for the weather. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich. He is picky about his bbq and was extremely happy with his choice. My son ordered the crab sandwich, which was divine. And my daughter got a giant plate (platter is a better description) of delicious, fully- loaded pulled pork nachos that we were all happy to share. Everything was fresh and delicious, the portions were generous and there was enough variety that everyone in our group left happy. read more

We had breakfast, the brisket hash and bacon and eggs, and it was delicious!! I loved the hash, it was very flavorful, lots of meat! Good coffee, too! Very nice little local place!! The people there are also very nice! read more

Alicia was so helpful and sweet! The food was really good here, we ordered clam chowder bread bowl, tri tip sandwich, and fries. She also gave us a 2 for 1 coupon for a local winery we wanted to try, so nice! The restaurant is small inside but I loved their menu and I would definitely come back! Great place in the heart of Bodega Bay read more

Great service and yummy food. We got the burrito and hash scramble and they were delicious! Brisket was very flavorful

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before heading up the coast. Regularly check Yelp reviews prior to going to a new place. I'm going to assume the 4.5 Stars is for the location. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich - meat was chewy and bread was soggy. Fries were over-cooked and hard. Clam chowder was just okay. Checked in for the Yelp discount and the lady at the register didn't know what to do with it, until another person told her that it was okay. Also the water left in the serve yourself pitchers had a weird taste. The view is nice though. I wouldn't come back to this place to eat again. read more

Customer service was great but the food was terrible. My fries were dry and my cod fish tacos had no flavor, not even salt and pepper. My husband had the crab sandwich and crab fries and he said it also did have and flavor and was very dry. We tried this spot because of the yelp reviews but we will not be returning. read more

This review is based solely on our experience for breakfast. We came here based on the high yelp reviews and ranking from Sonoma Mag. But honestly, I was disappointed. We ordered from a counter from a grumpy apathetic women (like anyone wants this first thing in the morning). Then find that there is very limited seating indoors with only 2 tables inside that are low and a cause of angst for people with small children or physical limitations. There are two other tables but they are bar height. I'm sure the table/seating issues wouldn't be a problem for someone that wasn't eating with someone who was attempting to fall off the bar stool the entire meal ie a small child -sigh. We had the breakfast burritos and I got my salsa on the side which was a measly ration of what seemed like store bought jar salsa. The burritos were really good but I was surprised to learn, upon ordering, that potatoes (in a breakfast!! burrito) are extra. But my biggest disappointment was in the breakfast for our 4yo. The bacon was so brown/burnt and the toast was so awful she didn't even eat it! And she loves bacon and toast!!! The eggs were scrambled and when I asked if they could make the eggs flat in one piece as in an omelet (#fouryearoldproblems) the counter person said "he -indicating the "chef"- wouldn't understand as we don't make omelets here". Ok, no problem, but really, a flat solid egg piece, ummm, ok!!? I guess the reviews are for the BBQ or smoked items? Either way, I wouldn't come here for breakfast or lunch (for that matter) with little ones or anyone elderly as the seating could be an issue depending on how busy they are and we didn't find the food to be overly impressive to risk a fall off a bar stool or eating outdoors in the nice cold Bodega weather. To the owner who so "graciously" responded to our review: We weren't there on a weekend, there was no one "in-line" before or after, it was slow but for the people that came in before us. And no one offered us warm comfy blankets as we did not ask anyone to accommodate our special needs in low seating! I really think this is unethical to state something that certainly did NOT occur! Perhaps you're confusing us with another guest that found your seating inadequate, too?!! Bottom line, YOUR "chef" burned our child's bacon and toast making it inedible. Also, you make scrambled eggs, so unless your using some sort of fake egg powder mixture, pouring eggs into a pan to make a solid omelet-like piece is hardly making something special. Additionally, your space limitations aren't a problem for you, but it is good information for customers that may not be able to sit at bar seating or not want to with young children. ***Again, would not recommend this for people with children or people that have physical limitations since you have limited indoor low seating options, nothing personal, just sharing info for the public to make their own decision. read more

Food was mediocre. Definitely more hyped up than what it really is. I don't know how they were voted the best clam chowder....not true. Even Boudin's chowder is better. read more

This new place ("this is our 26th day!") Is well worth visiting. Right on the bay. Small, friendly, comfortable. Love the natural edge wood tables. Sitting by the gas fireplace stove and this is warm and pleasant. Especially after an arduous bike ride down the coast. I had a tasty steak and eggs burrito. read more

Really good burritos and a high price. We ordered 3 breakfast burritos 2 bacon came with eggs, bacon, cheese, sour cream, and pico de Gallo And a brisket burrito ( excellent! ) came with smoked brisket, eggs potatoes, cheese, pico de Gallo And sour cream. The burritos were really big and filling you could actually share them with someone if you're a light eater in the morning. My only gripe was that they're like $13-$14 seems really excessive ( probably due to Covid mess!) but still they were very good! I'll definitely come back and maybe next time just share a burrito with my son. Loved supporting a small business. read more

I'm a local in this area and I understand the high tourist pricing. One pulled pork Sando on a generic bun topped w/ coleslaw and a 1/2bottle of water..$13.00 It was ok /mundane/ok/not a knock me down ,Bam BBQ. But I hope they succeed on there venture as they have a great location and all the tourist's have found it yet. So if your in Boda Bay and have a seafood allergie..go pack you pie hole at the joint. Tell them Freddy sent ya..! read more

Really like this restaurant, nice people, great views, very nice patio area and spotless bathrooms. It's casual dining at its best. We stopped by for lunch on Friday and had "The Piggy" pulled pork sandwich and split an order of fries. The sandwich and fries were delicious! The coleslaw was great. On the way out we got the monkey bread and a chocolate cream cheese muffin to go. The muffin was very good, but I was disappointed with the monkey bread. It was not baked all the way through and the center was very doughy. I ate the outside part, (delicious), but the center had to be thrown away. I would guess from previous reviews, that the monkey bread is usually very good. Too bad we got it on a day it wasn't. I recommend this place completely, but for dessert you might try something other than the monkey bread. Luckily, they do have quite a few tempting choices. read more

We had a really nice breakfast / lunch today at Ginochio's. We got there at 11:00 when they change over to lunch, but my husband was able to snag the last order of brisket hash from the breakfast menu. He loved it! The brisket was really smokey and it was served with two eggs over-medium as requested on top. A couple pieces of toast would have made a nice addition. I had the clam-scallop chowder which was excellent. The scallops really add something. We sat outside on their patio with a beautiful view of the water. It's pet-friendly so our dog enjoyed it too. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu. We've tried most of the restaurants in Bodega Bay and Ginochio's is one of the best. Try going there instead of getting involved in the insane mob scenes at places like Spud Point. The food's great, the people there are super nice, and you can relax and enjoy a nice experience. read more

Had a great experience here, the food was amazing. Just all around great BBQ. The best part was, it wasn't smothered in sauce to hide flaws, the smoked meat speaks for itself. There is a little patio outside with a plexiglass wall to cut down on the wind while not interrupting the view of Bodega Bay! If you have some time I would highly recommend stopping buy and getting a pulled pork or brisket sando and a local beer! read more
