Great cauliflower crust pizza and really kind generous people who work there. We will absolutely be back!

The lunch special is great! The food is amazing!!! And outdoor seating was perfect in the shade!

I patronize Gino's in Commack at least 1x a week and almost always get pizza. The crust is somewhat thin and fabulous! I would definitely rate this as in my top 3 slices. Always greeted with a smile and their staff go out of their way to be kind to my autistic children. We always sit at the tables in the front but someday hope to have a relaxed meal in the other area which is decorated beautifully and tables are always set perfectly. I did get a Greek salad when they first opened that wasn't generous at all with the toppings, but I am over it now that I patronize frequently. read more

Went there today to get a very simple two regular slices and a bottle of water. This corona virus has certainly changed things on many levels, but one would think that a restaurant being open for takeout would at the very least provide average to above average food. The slices that I was given were so oily and soggy that I threw them away. I will never go there again, nor would I recommend that Gino's to anyone I know. I believe they're independently owned because there are other Gino's that are absolutely wonderful and consistent at it. At least the bottle of water was ok. Don't waste your time or money at this location. read more

Was my first time going here, pizza was absolutely delicious with perfect crust and loaded with cheese!

Ordered a Sicilian pie, unfortunately it was one of the worst pizza pies I've ever had. Their pies only come in eight slices unlike other pizzerias that come in 12, The sauce was ok at best and they really skipped out on the cheese I would not recommend this place for this Sicilian pie's. read more

Got sick after eating this. They were new in town so was excited to try. But won't be back.

Ordered 4 pies for pick up. I had my friend go for me and when he got there the guy was on his cell phone. He gave his name to someone else and they looked for pies only to find out the guy on phone never put order through. Before knowing they had not even been made they took his credit card to charge the order. It was after this he was told the pies were now being made to which he said never mind as it would be another 20 minutes. He requested his card be reimbursed and left. read more

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I'm so happy Ginos is here! Food was amazing. Service behind the counter was very accommodating, chatted up with one of the guys behind the counter while I waited for my slices, very nice. I had the old world slice (upside down Sicilian) one of the best I've ever had and a Buffalo chicken slice which hit the spot. Definitely will be back again. GOOD JOB Ginos!! I have dined at Gino's of Commack and decided to use them to cater a graduation party. I can't rave enough about the catering package, the service and mostly the food. Everything came as ordered and totally exceeded my expectations. The food was delivered on time, HOT, exactly as ordered. Most importantly, all the guests were raving about how delicious everything was. If you are hosting a party, check out their catering packages. Only have gone for lunch, but the food is so good, & counter help is always so genuinely nice. Lunch specials are totally worth it. Salad is so fresh, soup is fantastic, pizza is great. Always a great experience. read more

I called Gino's to have an order delivered. I asked the hostess who answered the phone if there were any coupons out. I explained to her that the last few times I ordered I threw everything away including the new menu with the order because I had their grand opening menu in my cabinet with all of my other to go menus. She put me on hold to check and when she got back she told me that I could not use a coupon unless I had one. I again explained to her why I didn't have the updated menu in my hand to which she did not seem to understand. So I asked to speak with the manager who got on the phone and was even less competent than the hostess. He told me that coupons expire quickly ???? Relevance I'm not sure?? But if I didn't have one he couldn't apply it to my order. So I told him check your computer system I order from you at least once a week to which he replied we don't keep records of who orders. I explained why I didn't have the updated menu I also told him that I know coupons are to attract new customers but it's also a thank you for continued patronage. He actually agreed that's poor management but still wouldn't apply a coupon because I didn't have one. The hostess told me that they had two coupons out at the time of the 10% off or to go order or a free hero I wasn't looking for the entire meal to be free but the 10% off would've been a nice customer appreciation gesture. It was literally like speaking to a rock. I later called back to get the managers name that I spoke to so that I could call the following day and speak to the owners but to my surprise got one of the owners on the phone. Rich was his name and might I add he was dumber than the hostess and the manager combined. He proclaimed how important Customer Service was and that the hostess whom he had hired and the manager were trying to protect the restaurant by not giving me the coupon?? When I try to explain to him that I had been in the restaurant business for 25 years and this was not good Customer Service he defended his manager and his hostess by saying people try to scam and get free stuff he repeatedly said that they were trying to protect Gino's. Yeah I could see his point giving bad customer service must be great for his restaurant no wonder they have several bad yelp reviews. Will never order from them again ordered from Emilios they don't deliver but the food is 10 times better!! read more

So being locked down in a house most of time with everything going on, I decided to take my wife and two kids out to ginos for dinner to finally get out of the house. I have a 6 year old and a one year old. We got there and decided to eat inside which there was only one other family there who was already eating. Two other couples came in after us with no kids. My family ordered garlic bread to start and 3 dinners, It took forever for our food to come out while the other couples who came in after us food was being served. You would think they see we have a one year old they would have got our order out a little faster. When we finally got the order I told them to wrap it because we have been waiting so long we couldn't wait any longer. So we went home to eat and I ended up choking on plastic wrap that was cooked in the middle of my food. With what is going on right now with covid really plastic wrap cooked in my food. I brought back and spoke with the manager and told him of the long wait we had trying to dine here and showed him the plastic wrap in my food the manager really wasn't to concerned just kind of shrugged his shoulders like it happens and asked me if I wanted another dinner. Um NO! If I was him I wouldn't ask, I would have told the customer I will get you another order and comp you meals and be a little more apologetic, I had to ask for a refund and when he said ok and I handed him my receipt he comped my meal only and the garlic bread. Last and final Time my family will go there so sad the food tastes pretty good. It seems they can't handle all the take out orders and customers dinning in. Be careful of plastic wrap. read more

I really wanted to like this place. However, it was bad experience after bad experience. First, was the poor service. Our waitress, albeit pleasant enough, was rarely to be seen and we had to flag her down when we needed something. The bread wasn't brought out and we had to ask for it as we had hungry children there, only to finally be brought out after our food was set down. Water glasses were not refilled. Secondly, the food- bland taste and most people at the table agreed their meal didn't taste like anything. There was also a hair in the food which I couldn't even bring to anyone's attention because again, the waitress couldn't be found. Most importantly, they brought PIPING HOT soup out and set it in front of my young child, without warning and without any ice. Needless to say, the entire bowl of hot soup spilled all over her lap... when the waitress finally entered the room she of course did not come directly to the table I had to call out for her we need ice and napkins! Needless to say, I could not recommend this place and most likely won't be back. read more

My family went to the Commack location for the first time last night. First of all, the layout is a little weird and the lights are too bright. We felt like we were in the way of the workers while waiting to be seated. After getting seated a drink order was taken which we got right away. My salad and the 2 appetizers that we ordered took 40 minutes to get which is unacceptable. We got there after 8:00 so the place wasn't that busy. Next we got our dinner 15 minutes after the appetizers. The kicker is that only 6 of the 7 dinners came out. My sister had to wait another 10 minutes for a Panini which ended up being cold and nobody ever came around to refill our waters. The waiter made it up to us by giving us another round of drinks but that is not enough for me to go back. Go to the Kings Park location instead. Northport is good too. They just don't have as many tables. We have never had any issues at either one of those locations. read more
