Spice caddy to heat up food to one's desire

Great food and service here today. I'll return for more hot, spicy food soon. It may have been helpful to be here at 2 pm--really calm and relaxing.

Chicken Pad Thai

I love that each Thai restaurant has a special dish, that separates them from all the others! What Ginger Pop offers is their delicious Thai chicken wings, they are sticky crunchy and absolutely mouth watering delicious!! Also the pad thai here is definitely better than all the rest! The unique drinks are heavenly as well!

My new favorite Thai restaurant! The atmosphere is really cool and the service is great! I had the Coconut Noodle dish which had rice noodles, chicken, vegetables ground peanuts and a delicious sauce. The lunch portions are huge! I also ordered some peanut sauce on the side, which was only $2.00! it was delicious. Next time you want Thai food come here! You'll come back again and again!

Dinner at Ginger Pop was delicious! It was a girls day of shopping for a wedding dress and we ended with dinner. Service was great, greeted and quickly seated. The place was very nicely decorated. We order appetizers, Shrimp Salad rolls and Potstickers, both very good. Main courses consisted of Teriyaki Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and Curry Chicken. All dishes were delicious, as we each took sample of each. Nice place for dinner.

Pathetically thin wonton. Creamy Wonton

I've been going to Ginger pop for over 5 years. I love their food. The employees are nice and the restaurant is nice. But recently, they have become incredibly stingy and the food quality has really gone downhill. I always get the Garden Green Curry and I ALWAYS pay extra for "family size" and an order of the creamy wontons. For years this meant my togo order consisted of a large container of curry plus a smaller container. It would feed me for at least two days. However recently, even when I confirm I'm ordering the family size, they have only given me one large container of curry-- and it's not even full (see picture). I'm paying extra for extra curry!! Does this mean a regular serving is somehow less than even that? When I asked the server why it had changed, she said it's always been like that. That's not true. I have orders on my email going back to '21 to confirm that I've been a long time customer. The crab wontons I ordered were also pathetically thin and empty. As far back as I can remember, their wontons were full and luscious. Sad to say since I'm clearly being ripped off, I won't be going back. There are plenty of other curry places where I'll get what I pay for.

Same meal. I just wanted to highlight how big the prawns are.

I have been eating here since they opened and nothing on the menu disappoints. I am very interested in thier breakfast menu...yum. I just ordered thier off the menu "Spicy eggplant with prawns"...I crave this and in all the years I've lived in Vancouver only two other restaurants have offered a similar version. The service is always spot on and I love the ambiance very bright and welcoming. Drinks are over the top.

Chinese sausage and egg fried rice, ginger pop chicken wings, and pad Thai

Ginger Pop is definitely one of those Thai restaurants that's gaining a lot of popular outside of the local Vancouver residents. Drove about 25 minutes and it was absolutely worth the drive. I called for take out and was having very bad cell phone reception but the owner actually called me back (never had this happen) and confirmed the order for me. She never rushed me or was in any hurry but was definitely kind and patient. Once I got there, the food was ready and met up with the owner. She had the kindest voice let me tell you and was very sweet. The food was pretty epic to say the least. The sausage and egg fried rice ($13) I think could have used some seasoning but the pad Thai ($13) was next level. It was silky, flavorful, and not that spicy (just how I like it). Even though there are other Thai restaurants in the Portland area, Ginger Pop is top on my list for one of my favorite Thai restaurants.

Something lemon chicken..

The food is the closest to authentic that we have found, so far, in Vancouver. The restaurant is nice inside and clean.

Bright, lively, good music, FANTASTIC food, EXCELLENT drinks, fun servers... yassss kweeen! We happened upon Coral Club at the recommendation of a friend about a year ago. We popped in for a quick snack but ended up staying for dinner. Their drink game is on point. I can't even remember everything we ordered but the answer to a drink is, of course, yes! Their food is solid. We've done the Shrimp Skewer, Lumpia, Coral Platter, and Lava Fries. They were DELISH! My gang tried the Spam Musubi... I wasn't brave enough, but they loved it! We wanted a drink and bite before thrifting and going to the book store. One other couple was inside. Waiter was nice but not hospitable. The ambiance is amazing - 10/10 love the vibe and decor. I ordered a drink of the mixed drinks and my husband got a margarita. The drink was so bad - neither one of us could drink it. I don't think I've ever returned a drink I can't pound before haha. It was 10 minutes before I went home to the bar to ask for something different - no one came by to ask how things were. The guava choice I picked for the second - not good. Watered down flavors of who knows. The drinks at Wahi Hanna are amazing in comparison - especially with the Dole Whip vibe. The spam fries were $9 for half a can of spam cut up and put in the oven with a side of mayo? The loco moco was promising but tasted like something you'd get at Kenjis - not a Hawaiian spot. I feel like with a lot of tweaks in flavor - this could be a great spot.

The duo of bartenders covering the area did an awesome job (thank you guys!). I tried a draft cider and we got an order of coconut prawns to start. The burgers were cooked beautifully and the seasoning really worked well. The fries were a perfect crisp golden brown and they were salted well. I got some garlic aioli, so so so good! Unfortunately this time, we left very disappointed. My wife has a sensitivity to spicy foods. Upon ordering appetizers for the table, we asked if any of them (that had a spicy description on the menu) had the option to have the sauce on the side. She proceeded to ask how the scallops were and went ahead with that order. There was absolutely no description of having any spicy component on the menu nor any mention by the server. Upon her first bite of the risotto, she went into a severe coughing fit :( I tasted it and acknowledged how spicy it was. She proceeded to just eat the scallops. We were mostly done when the waiter came to check on us ... My wife asked if the dish is typically spicy. Response was "oh yes" ... It was completely lost on us why he wouldn't have mentioned that to her upon ordering knowing how she questioned the appetizers. His offer at this point was a new meal .. which was nice but we were mostly done. There really wasn't much in the way of sincerity beyond that. It seems the right thing to have done was offer my wife (celebrating her birthday) who didn't enjoy her meal ... maybe a comp'd drink or maybe a dessert (no acknowledgment of her birthday at all. When you spend north of $300 ... Disappointing to say the least. Upon leaving, I decided to just express my concern to the hostess and suggested adding the spice level of this specific entree to the menu. I reaffirmed my wife didn't get to fully enjoy her meal. I received a lukewarm "thanks for letting us know." The worst part of the whole experience was a manager/owner type was a few steps behind her, made eye contact and was fully aware i had an issue and made absolutely no attempt to come over and address the complaint. I no longer blame the waiter for his lack of concern knowing it flows from the top. We all go out and spend top dollar at nice restaurants for good food but also, for service and the experience. The restaurant has been opened awhile and maybe is established enough where this isn't as much of a priority as it was early on. In contrast, we went out the night before to a more established fave restaurant of ours in Portland (Ava Genes). Had an incredible meal, incredible experience, and uber attentive service. They even went the extra mile and made a big deal that we chose them to celebrate. Ended our evening with a simple complimentary scoop of gelato/candle. It was a nice touch. Certainly didn't mind spending the $$$ for that evening. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from trying The Cove if they've never been (I'm hopeful they just had a bad night) ... but there are so many good choices out there, it will most certainly make us think twice before going back.

After ordering food and a round of drinks for the group, we sat down at one of the gaming booths, excited to dive in. When I went back to the counter to ask how to start playing, the bartender told me it was $5 per person to access the games and that guests needed to consistently order drinks to maintain access. Honestly, that seemed fair to me. However, things quickly went downhill. I offered to pay the game fee, but was told I needed to buy drinks first. I explained we had just bought drinks--he had literally served us minutes earlier. His response: "You need to have an open tab, and we won't let you play unless you order more." At that point, the experience soured. The staff felt dismissive and unwelcoming throughout the interaction. Despite already spending money, we were denied access to what we came for. We finished our drinks--which, for some reason, didn't count--and left. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, likely my last. I didn't take many photos because there were enough people there that I didn't want to infringe on privacy. They have a happy hour from open until 5pm. We arrived at 4:30 and had no problem getting a table. The happy hour has food and drink specials. We ordered the gin gimlet and the Paloma to drink and the chicken nugz Nash style and the fries. I was impressed by their drink menu--there's something for everyone. The chicken nugz were that standout--moist chicken breast and great crunch on the outside. The Nash sauce was spicy/sweet and there was a ranch dipping sauce. The basket of nugz was huge! Definitely enough for 2-3 people. The fries were okay. If you pay $12, you get a wristband to play pinball. I can't remember the last time I played pinball, but the great thing is you don't have to have any sort of talent to play--it's just a fun time!
