Garlic green beans were so yummy and delicious. Cocktails were tasty as well. We got the cucumber and jasmine cocktails. The portions are absolutely massive so for instance there were 3 of us who were all very hungry and we split 4 plates and still had food leftover. The food literally comes out on platters. But I recommend the garlic green beans and the friend rice- very fresh tasting. Would come back next time I'm at MGM! read more

This place is Thai food for people who do not like Thai food. I ordered the chili basil fried rice and asked for it extra spicy. They brought it back and it had kick at best - which was disappointing for a Thai restaurant. The basil and chili was lacking and worse of all the rice was DRY. I have never had dry Thai rice. Ever. It was bland. And I swear they used short grain rice and not jasmine or basmati. After the $23 rice (the portion size wouldn't have been bad if it tasted good) the manager asked how it was. I told her it was dry, bland and not spicy. She admitted they turn the spice down for tourist and said I should've ordered extra spicy, she then looked at my receipt and said "oh you did, well maybe next time". Not an offer for a discount or to cook a new one when she could see I barely touched it. Anywho, I didn't mind the service, but save your money and ride across the bridge to ANY carry out on oxon hill or better yet go to the hood like Rios buffet and get better fried rice. read more

Ginger - The rice AFTER I added soy sauce and hot peppers. - Pan Asian Near Me - National Harbor, Maryland

Nastiest food ever!! Don't even waste your money. I ordered the wings as an appetizer and they were disgusting....fried wings covered in fat and undercooked. I should have stopped there but I had already placed my order. Next came he drunken seafood noodles. The seafood was flavorless in a bowl of soy sauce noodles...how? We also orders the shrimp and broccoli and that too wasn't tasty. A waste of $90. Next time we'll listen to fellow yelpers read more

Ginger is my go to at MGM Solid food, solid service. I'm coming back and bringing the whole family. read more

I opted for the dinner portion of combination fried rice even though it was during lunch and the food came out in 5 minutes (and this was asking for one thing to be removed). Very good service, tables are spread out and the food is really good. read more

The service was incredible. The food had no flavor - one of my friends asked for salt. Never have I heard anyone ask for salt in an Asian restaurant. Very expensive but I expected that given the location. I won't return. read more

Asian place in new MGM casino. Nice menu. Some items are very reasonable. Some are very pricy. Most dishes were tasty. Not special. Duck was pricy but well presented. Cut and served as 2 separate dishes. Nice bread buns instead of traditional pancakes. I prefer traditional pancakes. Snow pea leaves were soggy but still taste good. Nice Ginger ice cream dessert. And my favorite, sesame balls. read more

Ginger - Open kitchen area. - Pan Asian Near Me - National Harbor, Maryland

disappointment, manager treated the family badly when asking for a change in the order, the people who attend ge demand to leave a tip, example, I spent $290. The bad experience was that they did not leave the table until they demanded a $52 tip, you know if you are willing to get angry and they take your money, it comes here. read more

Birthday dinner that has become an instant fav - been twice this week and will be going back this weekend. Staff is very accommodating. Food is wonderful. Views are spectacular. There is a buzz in the MGM that is unmatched in this area. read more

No complaints with service. Cocktails were delicious. I ordered the salt and pepper squid, it was tasty and cooked properly but lacked seasoning. My wife ordered the Singapore noodles, which were very tasty but lacked spice (we requested hot sauce and it only enhanced it). We would definitely return and highly recommend. JEK read more

We decided to try this for dinner before visiting the casino. I am so glad we did! I didn't have high hopes, since most restaurants in casinos I've eaten at are just OK. The service was lacking just a touch. They were busy, but our food came quickly after ordering. I had the Yellow Curry and it was so delicious. My husband had the General Tso's Chicken and it was also very good. I would definitely recommend d giving this a try! read more

My meal was horrible! I ordered eggplant that looked beautiful but was bland and served at room temperature. With all the sauce it still had no flavor. The spring rolls were overcooked and tasteless as well, like eating fried cardboard. This meal was a total waste of time and money. So disappointing! read more

We had dinner on Christmas Day I called to make reservations and they told me I don't need one they will accommodate party of 8 people so coming in he said the person who answered the phone. We got there and there was no table for us what the hostess did seat us at 2 tables for from each other I asked the waitress if can put the tables together and she said let me ask the manager few minutes later comes back to us they'd can't do it I went to talk to manager about it and he no no imposible he is very RUDE PERSON he definitely needs to learn manners so very disappointed he Ruined our evening will never go back read more

I have to concur with the three star rating this restaurant is receiving. The food was good, not great, and for Kung pao chicken that costs $23, it had better be amazing. It wasn't; was good enough for $12. The dim sum cart is a nice touch & costs $9 per item. They also give you an extremely small amount of rice for your entrees. If the cost was a bit lower, I'd come back but for 2 entrees, 2 dim sum, an appetizer and two cokes, the bill was $106. My wife and I are big foodies and don't mind paying for great food. Our waiter provided very good service. read more

It was my first time at MGM Casino, looking for dinner we decided to go to Ginger The service we received was fantastic. My server was Zheng he was very knowledgeable about the casino and recommended delicious meals. Thank you and I will definitely be back. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to try out the restaurant on a whim but surprisingly both of us enjoyed our food. We got the dim sum, pad Thai, barbecue pork, and the bibimbap. Our server was prompt and accommodating. While we waited for our order the manager Steven asked us if it was our first time here, which it was so he told us a little about MGM and the other dishes and desserts we should try out. We were worried about the taste and small portions, but he assured us its quality and quantity & he was right!! Huge dishes and delicious!!! read more

Beautiful atmosphere. Service is impeccable. Food is absolutely delicious. We've had lunch and dinner -- at least 6 times. I've had the Mongolian Beef, LOVE IT. The sauce is perfect, the beef melts in your mouth. My hubby is stuck on the Drunken Seafood Noodles. Seasoning is perfect, the variety of seafood is prepared perfectly. He told me, "why mess with perfection and try something else" LOL. I have enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and on our next visit, today, I'm going to try the kung pao chicken. The Mongolian Beef is an absolute winner, love it. You can't go wrong with dining at Ginger. I highly recommend it. read more

Great place! Food is amazing, freshly, I tried almost all the menu and any single one plate are delicious

I love the great service that we received from our server Song she was amazing and quick and very informative about the menu items I highly agree that you request for Song when you visit this restaurant. read more

Found a new favorite to visit. Gonna go back with my husband one night for date night so he can try it.

Really excited to try this place. We live in the area and decided to check this place out after hearing great things. I give two stars for the eating environment and customer service. We had the dumplings, duck and the crab fried rice. The duck was excellent, crispy out side and tender meat with a delicious ginger chili sauce. The crab fried rice was flavorless, I had to add soy sauce. We also ordered two Heineken which were vinegary. All the food was overpriced for what is was. Probably won't return. read more

My dad wanted to check out the new casino and eat dinner here Friday night. I was worried we would have to wait a crazy amount of time considering the time and "new-ness" of the location. Thankfully we only waited about 45 minutes because we were a party of five. There were many groups of two that waited much longer than we did. We ordered two appetizers. The fried tofu was delicious with the peanut sauce. We loved that it was "packed" and not airy like most other fried tofu we've had. We also had the steamed dumplings which were good but nothing special. We did family style for five dishes. The red curry with duck was a first for me. I've always leaned towards panang curry but the red was good too, especially with the duck. The salt & pepper squid was another favorite of ours. We didn't realize until we got it that it is more of an appetizer. It looked like calamari, but was very flavorful. You can definitely taste the salt & pepper. The pineapple fried rice was really good. I've had other pineapple fried rice before but this one was more savory than sweet with the curry seasoning. Definitely balances the two flavors. The kalbi was my youngest brother's personal favorite. It was all pretty lean which we liked and packed with the sauce. Last but not least, was my favorite of the night, the pad Thai! I'll be honest I've lost interest in pad Thai since I discovered pad se ew, but this pad Thai was definitely an exception. It is a little spicy, but bearable for me (I rarely eat spicy). Lastly, we ordered two desserts. The mango with sticky rice was not good. It wasn't the sweet orange mango; it was he less sweet yellow color. The rice and was hard and hardly sweet as it should be. The mochi ice cream was better. The blossom fruit flavor was by far our favorite. Overall the food was delicious but overpriced. It was pretty expected for the location. The proportions are bigger than I thought it would be for a higher end Asian fusion restaurant. My family and I will definitely be back in the future. read more

We went here the weekend before Xmas. It's still new so our expectations weren't too high as I understand when new establishments open they need time to work out the kinks. That still won't change my 2-star review however. Here are the cliff's notes: Food tastes decent Way overpriced for what you get Drinks took really long to get even though the restaurant was not busy at all Service was "so-so" Soup dumplings are tiny Wonton soup was $12 FOR ONE PERSON This seems to be the only place at MGM large enough for groups with kids I personally wouldn't go back here. If you're curious, go ahead and check it out. If you are used to eating places around Eden or other typical Chinese sit down restaurants then you won't be impressed here... mainly because of the prices. read more

As other reviewers said, ridiculously overpriced. Bibimbap worth at most $3. I get more stuff at H-mart or Lotte for a quarter of the price. Wait was two hours when there was empty tables. I do admit it was all clean but definitely a one time stop for me. read more

Very good but overpriced Chinese food. First time I had the dessert. It was pretty good. Kinda like ice cream. Not sure what it was called. Forgot to take pictures of my meal. I had combination lo mein basically, even though they had another name for it. The spring rolls were quite tasty as well. It's worth a try, just be ready to spend cause everything in MGM is high. read more

Food is so-so. Ordered the Crab Meat soup and it was served luke warm. We were told serving size is just for one person, all four of us ordered individual entrees and ended up having too much & a $200 check. We could've ordered a couple of entrees and shared it. Also, our food was served under 15mins of ordering which made me think some of them were pre-made and was kept warm. A little over priced for the okay quality. read more

Had a great dinner tonight with my husband. The food (Mongolian Beef) was served fast, hot and delicious. Our server Cee Cee was great. She checked on us appropriately and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our meal. The food that we couldn't eat, she boxed it up tableside. Paying for dinner was seamless as well, because they brought the card reader to the table. I most certainly will be dining at Ginger in the near future and will request Cee Cee. read more

Been to MGM a couple of times but never sat down to eat anywhere here. Came with my sister and her bf to this restaurant and was pleasently surprised! Steven I think was the manager there and was super nice we talked for awhile and he suggested some menu options for us. Got the shrimp pad thai, mapo tofu and sweet and sour chicken it was alot but so delicious! read more

I went to this restaurant on last Friday, the 6th with a reservation. I was seated promptly (a plus). The service was a little slow, but after reading reviews before entering, I didn't have high expectations of 5-star service anyway. I ordered the Thai wings as an appetizer. They were brought to the table cold and raw (still bleeding) and no I am not a liar. The server took them back and brought back a fresh order (in about 2 minutes). Nine times out of ten, it was someone else's order! For my entree I got the drunken seafood noodles. Very very delicious. Spicy but delicious. The quality was great. The tea was devine as well. This is a pricey establishment but my lady that I brought enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience. I did too. The resort overall is clean and beautiful--just so many people. But in 2 months I can see the crowd dying down. read more

Got take out from here, it's ridiculous that rice doesn't come with the entrees that are more than $20 a piece. On top of that, the $3 white rice was some of the worst I've ever had, including at the mall food court. It was mushy and barely qualified as rice anymore. The rest of the food is fine but more like cheap take out not high quality Chinese. read more

They said "we don't have carryout on weekends" which was weird. The food was mediocre but VERY expensive, each dish starts at ~$20. I've been to places in No. VA with chinese food thats twice as good for half the price. If you can avoid it, eat after you leave here. read more

Was at MGM to celebrate mom's birthday and knew she liked Asian food the best, so we came to Ginger. We ordered the pan fried noodles, Mongolian beef, the pineapple fried rice, and the honey walnut prawns. Food was absolutely delicious! The wonton soup as appetizer had such a flavorful broth. The prawns had a nice delicate crunch. The fried rice had a nice curry flavor and the Mongolian beef was tender. Service was quick, but then again there was a concert that night so the turn over and service was swift. Definitely eating here again when I come back to MGM. read more

The food was amazing! The managers came out and greeted the table. I recommend the Gingerita! Good cocktail!

The food was blend and tasteless. It was like a very bad attempt to cook up some Asian food by someone who has never had exposure to good Asian food before. It was pricey and one of my friends got a horrible plate of Orange Chicken which was cold and hard. The service was bad even though there weren't too many people there at the time. The waitress did not take off the OC off the bill for my friend even though we literally sent the full plate back to the kitchen - we had to ask for it to be taken off the bill because she literally ate 2 bites! We left and went to the food court for snacks instead. read more
