Been here several times. Most recent time w/ my parents this month. Reportedly no Thai Iced Tea the day we went. Shared several dishes. Overall quality good & tasty food. Definitely pricey. Unsure if the shrimp was fresh, even though it was delicious, later greatly upset my stomach. If I go back, will definitely not get the same dishes.

Garlic snow pea shoots and Salt & Pepper pork chops with jalapeños and peppercorns. Don't forget the side of chilies.

Ginger is located in MGM casino and is one of plethora of dining options. More casual than fine dining and the wait time was short. We came before the dinner rush on a weekday and the casino's garage parking was easy. In cantonese fashion, the dishes were delicious. The menu is extensive and the service was friendly. Salt and pepper pork chop was incredibly crisp and seasoned well. I love the added crispy jalapeños and side of chilies. The garlic snow pea shoots is my personal favorite and I could've eaten that alone. Not pictured is chicken and salty fish fried rice to take home. It was loaded with chicken, very pungent, and filling. There's no doubt this place can get busy as it picked up toward the end of my visit. Consider especially during conference season (nearby Gaylord Resort) and holiday months as the lobby is decorated elaborately. Definitely plan your visit!

Wow so delicious! I requested a seat by the flowers instead of in the center of the dining hall, to our surprise the Asian waitress went to grab someone to seat us we thought because she didn't understand my request in English. Out came a black lady who didn't wear a smile or any welcome so we were taken aback from the drastic change in energy. Once she seated us and left our new waitress Song was THE SWEETEST. She wore a big hairstyle that gave the appeal of an Asian actress in a 70's Chinese/Korean drama. We loved her and she loved us. Later, she shared that the black lady was the manager which was nice to know...good for her it must not be easy. She wore a smile when she came back to visit our table. Our food was delicious, and being by the gorgeous view was lovely as well. Go, enjoy!

Ate here with my boyfriend before the Maxwell show. We made reservations, but got there 15 minutes early, so were immediately seated. Our waitress was very nice, but the only one serving our section and it was really busy, so she tried her best to keep up with the number of guests. Despite there being so many people, she was able to offer great service. My boyfriend and I had reviewed the menu before we came so knew what we wanted to order. The menu online doesn't list their prices, so we were a bit surprised when we saw the menu prices listed. It's definitely a bit pricey. For example, some of the rice dishes run between $30-$50. Granted, it is enough for two or more people, so I guess you get your money's worth. I ordered the Tawainese braised noodle soup with the spring rolls as an appetizer. My boyfriend had the General Tso Shrimp with steamed broccoli on the side. He really enjoyed his food, but I thought my meal was alright. To begin, the presentation was very nice, but there was no taste, spice or seasoning. I had to ask for a side of chili oil just to doctor the dish up, and that helped a lot, but I was disappointed in the overall lack of flavor. The interior, though, is very nice and spacious. The dishes around me looked very good, and I'd be willing to give them another chance, but for the price point I expected more flavor.

This is one of the few restaurants in the MGM that is actually decent. Not sure that I would go out of my way to stop through. But if you have a show at the MGM this is a good pre-dinner or after the show late night eat.

The food is fantastic! The environment felt very calm and relaxed even though it was full and the staff was attentive. Always love coming here!

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered the pad Thai and my friend ordered the shrimp fried rice and they both came out hot and delicious. I also had a lychee martini which was very good. The ambience was great for the location because it is inside of a casino so it's lively and you get to see the amazing Decor that MGM switches out regularly. My waitress was very attentive and I will definitely be back.

At the recommendation of a friend, we visited after attending a comedy show. There was a wait for seating, but the time pass quickly. Once we got seated, our server took our orders, and we didn't have to wait long for our appetizers or entrées. Great choice for late meal if you're visiting MGM.

The best thing about this restaurant is that once you order your food, your meal is usually brought out in less than 15 minutes. I've never experienced a long wait. It is best to make reservations on weekends and nights. The customer service is absolutely amazing!!! The food is so delicious... my faves are the general tso shrimp and the Singapore noodles. The mixed cocktails are very good also.

I'm so mad that I'm just trying Ginger out. I went for lunch on the Friday before Labor Day and was pleasantly surprised. I'm guessing because it was lunch, it wasn't too crowded nor was it loud. Shoutout to our waiter Dallas who was great. We had a few appetizer - potstickers and veggie spring rolls and then I had the General Tso's Shrimp and all were very good. I also had the Gin & Yang and that yummy. I will definitely be back to try some other dishes - particularly the crab fried rice:) Then, we were off to do a little gambling to which I wasn't lucky, maybe next time!

Delicious! I had a nice family lunch with a cousin and my two elderly aunts before heading to the casino floor. It was a bit pricey but worth it. I haven't had Chinese food this good in a very long time. I loved everything we ordered, including the combination fried rice. I will definitely return.

Monday brunch date at Ginger at the MGM. We were in search of Pho and we were not disappointed. Arrived around 1p.m. and were immediately greeted and seated. The place was not very crowded and the overall ambiance was fantastic. Our order came out quickly and was well presented. I had the Beef Pho, while my wife had her Pho changed to chicken. The restaurant featured traditional and signature drinks. Overall great outing.

Very lackluster food and service. I wouldn't recommend. Plain and simple. Go somewhere else unless it's the only place open in the casino.

Do they still offer dim sum on the weekends?

Yes

Good options for vegans?

There were some vegetarian options on the menu but I'm not 100% certain on the vegan options but I wouldn't doubt that some of the items can be made into vegan meals.

In mid-November 2025, my friend was having a birthday celebration in Old Town Alexandria. He was originally picking some Italian place, Mia's, which we were looking forward to, but I think my friend tried to book a reservation too late, and the available times weren't at all good for him. So, he switched to Asian Bistro. I was thinking this wasn't going to be as good. I was skeptical because they were simply Asian Bistro and didn't focus on one cuisine like Chinese, Thai, etc. However, I was mistaken. The restaurant is small, but they accommodated for our large group albeit a bit tight. Server was friendly. My girlfriend & I decided to split Pad Thai & a couple of sushi rolls. Wow, this was one of the best Pad Thai I've had, and the sushi rolls were surprisingly great too. If in Old Town, this is a great option.

I stopped in for a quick lunch. it wasn't terribly busy aside from the friendly regulars who were eating at the table next to me. The service was timely and hospitable as I was able to order quickly and was offered drink refills pretty routinely throughout my time there. Their menu features appetizers like summer rolls, veggie gyoza, crab & chicken shumai, and entrees like lemongrass pan fried noodles, broccoli stir fry, pad thai, and lo mein with your choice of protein as prices range from about $10-$20 per item. I kept it simple and tried the fried rice with pork. Overall excellent dish: large portion size, a sufficient amount of protein, and a nice combination of ingredients with the shredded carrots, bell peppers, peas, scallions and onions. I'll certainly be returning to try out a few more of their menu items.

The sisig was a great portion and tasted very authentic, with a mix of different parts of the pig just like I remember from the Philippines. Very flavorful and satisfying. Everything here is cooked to order and you can hear and smell the kitchen working (in a good way). The place has a nice aesthetic, and the service was fine. We started with the pork lumpia. They were well executed. We also both got the rice with 2 entree's. We chose the beef stew (forget the exact name), lechon kawali (fried pork belly), and inihaw na Liempo (grilled pork belly). The beef stew was very good. The fried pork belly was excellent. The grilled pork belly had a very strong char flavor (not a bad thing). I'm giving only 4 stars because the rice could have been warmer, and some of the items felt a bit sauce dependent. That said, I will definitely visit again if I have a craving for Filipino food, and I think they have 5 start potential.

For us, we were talking to an artist in the Torpedo Art Studio in Old Town Alexandria, admiring the work he did. It got then we started talking about lunch as he was from Hong Kong. He mentioned we go across the street and try something he liked as it was something he would have back home. So, taking his advice we walked across the street and went to Mai Thai. It was a good suggestion. We went in and had a seat. Our waitress (a wonderful woman from Guam) gave some advice and we to some time to think. In the end we decided to start with Spring Rolls. This is the freshest sliced roll of crispy veggie combinations of lettuce, celery, mixed veggies wrapped in a thin wrap and served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. It was truly fresh and tasty. The dipping sauce was unique and made this worth a meal by itself. Then, being a cold day outside, soup seemed to be a good thing for lunch. We selected some traditional bowls of soup. First was TOM KA. It was a combination of vegetables and tofu in a coconut broth with mushrooms and fresh herbs. The soup had a tint of white. It was light and tasty. It was at a room temperature which is the way you have soup in Thailand. It was refreshing and light. Next we had TOM YUM. This is a combination made from slices of chicken in a lemongrass soup with fresh mushrooms, cilantro, scallions, galangal, kaffir-lime leaves, and Thai spices. The broth was light and traditional. If you wanted more spice our hostess brought it to you. Again, this was the way I had it when I was working in the rural areas of Thailand. Nothing fancy. Nothing simple. It was true home cooking that was served to you in a method truly Thai. The lunch was simple, but the way you would eat in Thailand. The taste and flavor was what to expect. The team is wonderful and friendly. The price was fine. It was good to find Mai Thai. And maybe being told about it from an artists does make it true to say that "Art is in the eye (and mouth) of the beholder."
