While the quantity of Fried Rice was good for the price and location, not sure if food was pre-made and sitting in a pan because for us it could have been called dried rice. We were told this is the typical way they serve it in their culture and usually ordered with a soupy dish. Guess all the places I've eaten fried rice was serving it to American taste read more

The atmosphere is great for a night of fun, relaxation and celebrating! The manager, Steven, was very gracious and even gave our table complementary glasses of champagne as we celebrated a birthday!! The food was tasty and served in a timely manner. This place is so awesome that we came back the next day for lunch !! read more

Celebrated my pastors birthday here end of July. Service was great very prompt and efficient. The atmosphere is nice clean I mean it is the MGM. It was my first time my wife have been before but the food was amazing. They serve your entrées in large sizes so this spot is perfect for large groups. Everyone in our party order something different and we all shared it around the table. I would return here again we all agreed it was an enjoyable evening. read more

Food was amazing! Every dish we selected was a delight on the palate, and there was a good selection of options. The setting is very elegant. Service was a little slow and our server kept disappearing. But overall would highly recommend. read more

My niece loves this place. They have to dine here at least once during each stay. I'm so happy I got to experience it. The staffs were friendly. We got our meal in a reasonable time considering we ordered a lot of food. The kids loved the Lo mien. Congee was nice and hearty on that cold rainy day. A small bowl was pretty big and feeds more than 1 person. Roast pork was cooked perfectly. You have to get the chili sauce. Pairs well with everything we got. read more

One would think if you ask for extremely high prices your food must be good or special. That's not the case here at Ginger . I am use to casino prices are expensive. But $178 for lobster noodle . The food are in small portions and are average at best. If you are looked to spent a lot of money for a meal in MGM. I recommend you go to their steak house and spend stupid money instead. read more

Introduction: *Had a game night with a bunch of friends and we all decided to drop by Ginger for dinner. When it comes to Asian Cuisines, I tend to be a little picky because I know my Asian food. I must say, Ginger got an overall 4 Stars from me. 19 points divided by categories=3.8 Stars Customer Service: 5/5 *No doubt that the service is OUTSTANDING. Especially for an asian restaurant. Let's be honest, when you think of service or clean, you don't think of an asian restaurant. So, you can say that I was tremendously surprised. Cleanliness: 5/5 *Once again, for an asian restaurant, I was crazy surprised, this place was IMMACULATE. Quantity: 3/5 ( due to the steam rice, way too small) *The portions are super generous, I think it's enough for up to 3 people. Except the steamed rice that is served with the dishes. It is super tiny for the amount of food that is served. Especially for the price they charged. Quality: 3/5 *It was definitely decent, but not spectacular. I've had better, but certainly had worse experience. So, I think 3/5 is more than fair. *The Orange Chicken is a little wet (should not be) and the beef Chow Fun was not as tasty as I am used to. Should be a little darker with soy sauce, not as light as it was served. Price: 2/5 *I rarely care about price, but this place is definitely a little expensive for the quality you're getting. For example, a pork fried rice, sesame chicken, chow fun, etc is $24+ per plate. *If you've been to other asian restaurants, you can get the same dishes for less than half the price. But I am sure the rent is a killer. It's still a little too pricy though. Tips: *Make sure you ask for their hot sauce, they are very authentic and amazing. read more

We came... We ate... We had a great time! & I left with leftovers!!! This isn't my first time eating her but it is the first time that I had the forethought to do a review. I must say that I picked a great meal to review. My wife had the soft shell crab fried rice which was full of succulent bits of tender crab. This was a flavor packed entree. My father-in-law had the sesame chicken which was an over abundance of food. It was tender fried pieces of which meat chicken in a sweet and savory sauce. My mother-in-law has the shrimp and broccoli which was absolutely well seasoned and rich. I had the chicken and broccoli which was also made with all white meat chicken and delivered in a savory sauce with tender pieces of broccoli. We were all in a state of bliss! read more

Servers weren't that attentive and didn't help with getting a highchair but I think they might not have that much staff after the pandemic. This place is expensive but if you gamble a lot you can get a comp which helps with the cost. The fish special was pretty bad. We usually get the lobster which is delicious but always has little shell bits - so be careful. Peking duck is ok, need more sauce and sometimes dry. It's pretty standard food but a few dishes make it worth it coming back. read more

Dirty Silverware, dirty napkin. Food was well cooked but not above average. Will not return.

The Best Chinese Food in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan Area. Every Time we are there the Manager Steve does a Spectacular Job. The times when they are crushed with customers after a show or concert at the MGM the quality of service and the consistency of the food remains Top Notch Even if you do not like Chinese Food you should come for the experience!!! read more

Really nice experience. Good decour and tasty lunch. First, Tim, the waiter was excellent He was helpful with suggestions and very attentive. He improved the score. I had the green curry thanks to Tim's suggestion and it didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the flavor and especially liked the string beans. The beef was incredibly tender. I can't wait to go back and try the panang and red curries. Check it out! read more

Ms. Yang was awesome. Ask for her! Food was awesome. Great food experience. The portions were big. Super close location to the casino.

Best restaurant if you're in the MGM National Harbor. Special shout-out to Kiran who is a lovely host!

I don't need to return. It was the most convenient choice because the show had just ended late and it was basically right there only place open. I expected more especially because of the price. Nice atmosphere but that's about it. Felt tasted like upscale panda express. Seems disorganized for seating. portions were inconsistent and our server was not really on top of her game. As much as it cost I also couldn't believe they charged me more for extra rice when the meat was grossly disproportionate to the rice that came with it. An experience at MGM I don't need to have again. Nothing remarkable read more

We had been wanting to try Ginger for a while so we decided that Valentine's Day would be the perfect time have a higher end dinner. Despite the restaurant being very crowded with both couples and families out for valentine's day the food was amazing, the service impeccable and the atmosphere quiet but causal. My husband and I are huge fans of all sorts of Asian food. We ordered a number of dishes to try a variety of the menu. It is now more than 2 months later and he is still talking about the beef with broccoli - the meat was delicious and tender - the sauce was rich and not oily. I would also like to comment that the shu mai and the potstickers were delicious as well. Again, I recognize on holidays (particularly ones like valentine's day) places can be overwhelmed and the staff short tempered and the kitchen unable to give each dish the same care it would on a slower day, but that was not the case at all at Ginger. read more

Ginger is one of my favorite restaurants. I love when my wife and I stop in for dinner. Our two most favorite dishes are the pineapple fried rice (I always add chicken) and the honey glazed fried chicken with jasmine rice. The service is spot on. Steven, the manager, does a phenomenal job checking on all the patrons to make sure everyone is fully satisfied. Zheng, our server, was also attentive. He promptly took our order and ensured we were good. Ginger is a MUST. read more

Authentic Asian cuisine with a delicious food and great service. Our family of 11, met there for dinner. Our server was excellent and she far exceeded our expectations. read more

Ginger is very delicious! The customer service is great! The drinks are on point with taste! I truly recommend this place!

The food's good - the prices are high, but you're paying for the ambience. That said, although misspelled menus can be entertaining at hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants, at this level of play, they're just embarrassing. read more

Beautiful place with nice ambience. However, the food is horrible. Prices are way too high for the food to be so bad.

By far the best restaurant at MGM and even most of the chinese restaurants i've been to in the area! Their salt and pepper squid was sooo good, we also ordered a duck, drunken noodles, thai fried rice, and some other dishes to share as a family. We were served by Song, her service was phenomenal! Will definitely come back and request her to be our server. read more

We came on a Sunday night so it was not that busy and we were seated right away. Most of the restaurants at the MGM are clustered in one area, Ginger however is on the other side of the casino with big open views of the main foyer. It is a perfect place for people watching while trying some delicious food. We were having dinner at the MGM so we knew the price tag was going to be huge regardless of what we ordered, so we figured "go big or go home." We ordered the fried dumplings to start followed by the $76 Peking Duck. The dumplings were good, I believe 5 to an order. The Peking Duck also was delicious. They carved the duck in the kitchen before bringing it out to the table. All duck breast with attached skin was placed neatly on one plate together with the buns. The remaining drumsticks, wings, ribs were served on a separate platter. They came of course with a side of cucumber, scallions and hoisin sauce. The duck was moist and well seasoned. The drumsticks and wings had plenty of crispy skin, however because they sliced the duck breast with the skin still attached, most of that top skin broke into pieces and became soft. I have been to other restaurant where they first remove all the skin before slicing the duck breast so that it remains crisp and whole. So overall review of the Peking Duck: it was delicious yes, but there is room for improvement 1.) remove the skin first before carving so that you preserve as much of that crispy goodness as possible 2.) Add the option to serve pancakes rather than the buns. The buns were great, but I always prefer the pancakes so it would be nice to have the option 3.) Carve the duck at the table. For Ginger being a very expensive restaurant, I was surprised the $76 price tag didn't include table side carving. Peking Gourmet Inn in Virginia, sells their specialty peking duck for $43 along with an impressive table-side presentation and carving. I was surprised not to see a similar presentation at Ginger. All in all, great service, beautiful ambiance, delicious food. read more

Not impressed at all. They sold us with a "special" to get us seated then tell us it's only on week days. The waitress didn't smile and talked fast. Food was cold. Then we got the wrong check. Then she corrects the check and tells us she gave us an appetizer for free. Which she didn't! Then we both pointed out she refused to fix it and offers us a free dessert. Very disappointed. Will NOT be back. read more

Last but not least, Ginger!! I have now dined at all of the restaurants that occupy MGM National Habor and what a treat Ginger was! Fully visible by resort guests, I guess you could call this the restaurant without walls. Even without walls it's big and beautiful with a lot of pazazz! A classy Thai inspired cuisine restaurant in the middle of the resort's atrium, Ginger will remain a hit for sure! My meal was freaking delicious! I had the half duck cooked to perfection while AB aka "play sis", had the curry shrimp which she raved about! The portions were large and satisfying! Service was awesome however it was a slow rainy Tuesday with a very modest crowd. Sounds like this restaurant deserves a 5 right? Not so fast, lol! I specifically chose this restaurant because of the delicious looking lobster dish my buddy posted a few month's back. Just to give you an idea of this restaurant's price point, most dishes are under $30. The drinks are where they make most of their profit with a start point at $15, however, the lobster dish along with the crab dish of course had Mkt Price. No biggie, I've dined at finer restaurants than this so I'm expecting $60 bucks tops for this lobster served on top of a bed of rice and what looked to be a curry sauce. Eventhough I was being treated to a pre-bday meal I was considerate enough to ask what the Mkt price was for this awesome looking lobster meal. With a HUGE smile on her face and without stuttering, my server blurted out $138! I laughed out loud at which time she said, oh, it's pretty big.. Lol I'm looking at the picture sweetheart, it ain't that big...I'll have the duck! Lol!! Wrapping up this review. If you love Thai food then you'll absolutely love Ginger however do yourself a HUGE favor and leave your lobster taste buds AT HOME!! LOL!! read more

WOW!!!!! I love this restaurant. We've been a few times for a quick meal but this time we decided to really take our time and order more. Our server was CECILIA and we asked for a few suggestions. Based on our preferences she suggested, oxtail soup, crispy beef, veggie potstickers, roast duck, garlic green beans and spiced edamame. WoooooooooW everything was beyond our expectations. I LOVED the potstickers so much we ordered a second serving. My husband hates veggies so the fact that he wanted more was amazing. I'm not a big meat eater so the fact that I loved the duck and crispy beef was amazing. The service was absolute perfection. We were never without a drink. Cecilia was so sweet and made me feel like I was being served by an auntie or something. The oxtail soup was so flavorful I was slurping and smacking my lips...mmmmmmmmm I'll come back again and again thanks to our exceptionally awesome server and the amazing food!!! read more

Went and saw a comedy show at the MGM and came to Ginger after. It was a busy Saturday night. They told me and my friend it was a 45 min wait. Ok no problem. Got our little buzzer and off we went. They told us the buzzer worked til Blossom inside the casino. So we decided to get a drink in Blossom and wait. Got to Blossom and it rang. Wow that was fast! Walk back over to Ginger and the host goes on no it doesn't work inside Blossom. Oh ok. That would of been nice to know... We waited for an hour and were starving when we got our food. We ordered potstickers and lettuce wraps for apps. I got the pepper steak and my friend got a some mushroom and chicken dish. Everything was SO SO bland. The potstickers had to be dunked multiple times in the sauce it came with for any flavor. The lettuce wraps. Equally as flavorless. I ended up putting some sauce from the potstickers on them and it was ok. But the lettuce wraps at PF Changs are much better. My pepper steak was equally a disappointing. A good cut of steak but again no flavor. I asked for soy sauce. It didn't help. It was li they forgot the spice rack or something. I ate more of the rice that came on the side then the entree. I debated saying something to the server but I didn't. My friend loved her dish. Which is why they get 1 star. Our server was Cecelia and she was attentive and nice so 1 star for her too. She was even nice enough to box up my lack luster steak, which I promptly threw away when I got home. But thanks for the thought. Overall like $100 for a poor meal. No thanks. read more
