I was pleasantly surprised at this place. After a day of shopping at the Gilroy Outlets, I was famished. My friend saw an ad for this place so we decided to stop in on our way back to the Bay... or Yay... Ay... anyways, we ordered one of those dinner specials for two. It was about $27 for two entrees, two bowls of rice, an appetizer, and desert. What a deal! The portions were GINORMOUS. We ordered Orange Beef and some chicken with green beans. The food was delish, but halfway through mackin' on the Orange CHICKEN, we noticed it was chicken and not the beef we ordered. It was still good, so we weren't tripping. We also ordered some dim sum which was so fresh and so good. The bill came out to less than $40 and that was such a steal for the amount of food we got! There was enough food for two more people and were pleasantly stuffed. I see myself defintley coming back on my next excursion to Gilroy. read more

Love the dim sum, good quality ingredients and it's cooked to order. When you go to places that push around carts it's sometimes nasty b/c it's been sittin there for a while. Yes it is a little Americanized, but I am Chinese so I may be biased. Definetely the best place to eat at the Outlets at least! read more

I haven't been here in quite sometime but the last time I was here the food was really good and had excellent flavor. The portions here are pretty generous for the price. Although I cannot remember all of the dishes I have tried, all of the food I have had was very good. I do remember having the Minced Chicken Lettuce Cups, which had great flavor for an appetizer. I think they had little bits of mushrooms as well which really added to the flavor of the chicken. The restaurant is very casual and laid back but does have a very nice ambiance to it. Not a bad place to stop off in the middle of a long day of outlet mall shopping, or kicking it off if you like a little dim sum to go with your later start to the day. Plenty of seating, freshly prepared goodness, and service that's always watching your water glass. I've heard good things about the shaking beef, looking forward to trying it on a future visit. We only wanted to try their dim sum and wasn't expecting much since it was made to order. $4 per dim sum was kinda high for a place like Gilroy. I knew I was going to be disappointed because the dim sum places I usually go to are more authentic and have a greater selection with their dim sum karts rolling around in the restaurant. This place is more looks than content. The place is clean and very well designed, but they could've spent more time with their menu items. Great fresh food and great service!! I came here with my husband and in-laws for the first time back in the beginning of the year, and had a great experience. It wasn't very busy which was nice. It's a fusion Thai-Chinese place, which initially threw off my in-laws a bit, but some things were recognizable to them, so we ordered mostly those. I would personally be more ambitious! Service was prompt and efficient and the food was very good! We will be back. On the way out they thanked us for coming and wished us a good night, which was a very sweet touch. Hubby and I both really like the chili chicken. But we notice this last time that it was not as spicy as before which was the thing we like best about it. Did not like the orange beef but the blue crab appetizer was really good. Even my hubby liked it and he doesn't really eat sea food. Food is great but they refuse to turn on their air conditioning. It was 100 degrees today. When I asked for them to turn it on the waitress said they "have an open kitchen so it is hot regardless". If they cared about making their guests comfortable that is an even better reason to turn it on! read more

We had been there in the past and the food was outstanding. However something has changed. The flavors were off. Everyone agreed the food tasted funky. Also, it is VERY expensive for what you get. I could understand if the dishes were of high quality as the menu seems to indicate. However, this is not the case. The food just doesn't match the ambiance, service and overall first impression. When this restaurant first opened up we loved it and used to come here all the time....What happened to this place? The food is not nearly as good and the service is horrific. You'll be in there and the place is pretty much empty and you can't get service to save your soul. You just sit there like a fool getting angrier by the minute. To start off we waiting for 15 mins before someone took our order and the place was empty! It took 20 mins for my shomai and 35 mins for my husband Peking duck. 35 mins and the duck was cold! I was so irritated I just asked them to take it to go. Very sad because this was our first and will be our last. I basically get take out here every time my wife gets sick. They are pretty good wonton soup that hits the spot when you're not feeling well. Its a little expensive but I'm happy to pay a decent price for a good hot meal. It's definitely better than eating at Mr Hong's diarrhea factory where you might cure your cold but get hep-c in the process. read more

*BEWARE* I used to love this place, until I found a HAIR in my food today...ewwww so gross!!!! I was on my lunch break and had to eat so when they offered to remake it I skeptically agreed since I was out of time to go anywhere else. I asked for a discount and the manager/owner came over and told me that because they remade the dish, he couldn't give me a discount...EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS HAIR IN MY FOOD THAT I HAD BEEN EATING. Horrible service, won't be returning and you shouldn't either. Even if you eat food with someone else's hair in it, they don't care to comp your meal. I'm shocked! read more
