Well, I have another superlative declaration, this time for Casey Coffee Company: This coffee shop serves the best bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich that I've ever eaten. Ever! It's also the biggest BEC I've ever eaten. This sandwich is huge and can easily feed two people. I got my baconeggandcheese on a jalapeno bagel, but you can choose from several different kinds of bagels, including a rainbow bagel, if you're so inclined. Inside the bagel sandwich, the eggs are scrambled, the bacon is chopped, and the cheese is melty and plentiful. The bagel is toasted and has a bit of a sheen to it from being doused with butter or something equally delicious. The bagel itself is chewy but also slightly crispy. The whole thing is amazing, and I just wanted to keep eating it, even though it was so big and I was so stuffed. (Pause.) Even better: I think this BEC was like less than $10, which is a steal. They don't know what they have here at Casey Coffee Company, or maybe they do and they just want to pass on the savings to you and make you come back to Casey to look at the big things. I think I also got a black coffee, but this baconeggandcheese sandwich overshadowed everything else that I ate that day, so I'm pretty sure the coffee was good, but I can't tell you for sure, because all I have in my head when I think of Casey Coffee Company is a bagel sandwich.

There were four cars in line at Oliver when I came through late on a Saturday morning for one last java jolt. But the line moved quickly even though one person before me got a grocery-size bag full of some goodies or other. I ordered a plain coffee (can that beverage be improved upon ?!?!?), and it was fine, at least on par with most better coffeeshops.

The quality of the coffee made the wait worth it though. One thing to know is that the building is easy to miss while driving, so you have to keep an eye out or you'll pass it. Overall, definitely a good local coffee stop.

We got a bbq chicken pizza that was decent, but didn't have a lot of sauce and the crust tasted like it was a frozen pre-made crust. The dining room was clean, but the service and food left something to be desired. We'll be back for the bakery items because they looked very appealing and we've had them in the past, but we're hard pressed to come back for pizza.
