The granddaughters of the original owners brought it back to life & it is even better than before, IMO. The candies are quite exceptional, and they are made by hand on-site every day. I now live 1000 miles away. But when I visit, I ALWAYS stop to visit the owners & buy a box of my favorites. Luckily, they also ship & I've taken advantage of that more than a few times...for others & myself. We decided it wasn't worth waiting another 15-20 minutes for a new one. The sandwiches themselves were fine. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible. Personally I didn't love the environment. If you don't like nonstop Christian music and groups of women loudly cackling in the corner, this probably isn't your place. They did have cool snacks in their store and the desserts looked good but we didn't try any. Edit to add the bathrooms were really clean and they also had Narcan in both the men and women's which I think is a really cool way to keep an eye out for your neighbors.
