We enjoy stopping by for ice cream when we are out for a drive. They have many flavors and their portions are generous.

They serve the best homemade ice cream around. The flavors are constantly changing and the quality is always excellent.

We really love that 12 Points is getting the revival it deserves, and we couldn't wait to check out…read morethe public market. The market is very small but has a decent range of food options including burgers, pizzas, and ramen. When we arrived, someone was giving announcements for future events at the Market. To me, this didn't seem like a big deal, but the bar vendor kept giving us dirty looks for talking. And they wouldn't take our order until the woman was done. I don't know if they had ever been in a market before, but they are loud, hectic, and made for the convenience of everyone being able to get what they want quickly and meet up in the same space to enjoy. I am not required to participate in your events, I am here for food. The ramen was good but they made ordering too complicated and the menu is more of a fusion than authentic ramen. I had the shrimp and steak and the steak was burnt. My husband got a calzone and it was okay, it really could have been improved with some seasoning on the crust. You have to order from the vendors individually and then also check out again at a different vendor to get basic soft drinks - which were $3.50 each... I really appreciate what they are doing here, and I hope they continue to improve and work out the kinks.

Great concept for start up businesses. There were four different kitchens with a variety of food…read more We had the Shrimp & Grits, and I picked up a White chocolate & blueberry cookie from one of the other vendors. It was karaoke night.

This is not a brick and mortar restaurant, they are a food stand that travels around. The address…read moreand phone number corresponds to the owners. They have a Facebook page under "Sunshine Concessions which includes their extensive menu and their email is sunshineconcessionsllc@gmail.com. They bill themselves as "carnival eats" and I find them to be of the upscale type. They also cook with little grease so your "carnival eats" are not the kind of slop you would usually get at an actual carnival. I just discovered them in the last year while living in Central Illinois. I would read/hear about them from time to time and became obsessed about trying their jumbo hand dipped corn dogs. When I found their Facebook page I tried to anticipate where they might show up next but often the locations/events (quite often Central Illinois), were posted the "day of" and not very much in advance which made it hard to plan a visit. They predominately set up their food stand over weekends and holidays from around April until early Sept. I was able to manage 1 visit this summer in Kewanee, IL. We tried their $5 jumbo corn dog (incredible!), Ribeye sandwich $9 (pricey, medium sized, very good), Hand cut fries $5 (great!), Pork chop sandwich $6 (medium sized, very good), Strawberry shake-up $5 (very large but too much ice, good but watered down). So it is not a cheap eat, it does add up but it is pretty delicious.......especially those hard-to-find hand dipped jumbo corn dogs!! The menu also includes many other items including Nathan's 1/4lb hot dogs, tenderloins, burgers, funnel cakes, etc. There is a $1 charge to use your credit card. It was run like a pretty well oiled machine, from ordering/paying/receiving your food. In Sept. the current owners announced that they were passing the torch back to their Cousin in the way of the business. So I hope it will continue to be as delicious and hopefully the Facebook page will be more proactive with timely announcements about events and locations where their food stand will appear next so that many of us can partake.
