This little pizzeria delivers exactly what I wanted at 1:30 AM. They conveniently stay open until 5:00 AM! I ordered the personal 10 inch Gio's Deluxe pizza and I was very impressed with the crispy crust and tasty toppings, especially the great mozzarella cheese. The service was fast and the ambience feels like a classic Italian restaurant with all sorts of typical Italian restaurant crap on the walls you would expect such as a Goodfellas movie poster, a couple of mobster collage paintings, a Marilyn Monroe photo album collage poster, and a Scarface collectors plaque with a cigar and bullets from the film. read more

Super disappointing. The lasagna only had one thin layer of pasta and felt like it was mostly filled with extra cheese and marinara sauce to make up for it. We were out in the area and wanted pizza. We came across Gina's I had heard it was great pizza so we decided to go there. It was late maybe around 9pm. No one was inside just the workers. I asked if they were still open. After a few back and forth yes or no finally he said yes. The guy that came to the front to take our order wasn't rude but wasn't polite either, if that makes sense. Lived in Montebello my whole life and never tried this pizza spot. If you're looking for a late night spot for decent pizza, this is your place. I placed my order online and had a friend pick it up. The quality of their toppings are very good and decent. I will say be prepared for their steep prices. I literally ordered a small pizza and wings and it came to 50 bucks. Don't get me wrong, good food but a little too expensive for this. The wings are a 7 piece order for 15 bucks. You're paying like 2 dollars a wing. After toppings and tip, just a too pricy for my liking. I would eat here again if it's a late night and in the mood for some good pizza and wings. I ordered a pizza at 3 in the morning out of desperation because it sounded good. I was very cautious about how the pizza would taste but this place was the only pizzeria open near my home. The customer service was amazing when we got there, the staff were friendly. Obviously, it was 3 in the morning so the lobby was pretty empty, but the inside appeared to be home-y and looked nice. Great spot for "late night" food. We came here for pizza after a late night movie that let out at 2:30am, and this spot was open, so we decided to try it. They have more than pizza, but we went for the pizza, and were pleasantly surprised at the variety of options and unique flavors they have. We had a half "Hawaiian Tsunami" and half "Philly Cheesesteak", and very much enjoyed both. I totally recommend this place. They are open late, and at least their pizzas are good. So unfortunately I won't recommend this place for pizza. With the cost of things and inflation I don't understand why some pizza locations Insist on cheating the customer. We ordered pepperoni, mushrooms, red onions, jalapeños and extra cheese to the cost total of $36. If there was a complete slice of a red onion divided upon the whole pizza would have been much. I get it jalapeños must be cheap since that was the one topping that was visible. Mushroom were pretty much mia and the pepperonis were hide and seek. Hate to think how much cheese it would've had if I didn't ask for extra cheese. I'm a 1 and done specially for $36. Taste and dough quality lil Cesar's is ahead and that a lot of credit to lil Cesar's been compared to an Italian pizza joint. I don't know whats with all the bad reviews??? I'll give my honest opinion. The pizza looks and taste great. The cheese pull was good, the sauce was tasty, and the pepperoni was good quality. The service seemed nice although i ordered takeout, they were nice. The timing they had said it would take 15 minutes, but it took like 20 mins so i mean.. that to me isn't too big of a deal. It was a little pricey like 20$ for a small pizza, it was tasty tho. All in all i will come back here again, and it's convenient for me since they're open till 5 am, and there is times when i'm a night owl and want a dinner at this time. I check it out first on my mind a slice pizza because I like too see how good is the pizza and taste and also if they use good quality ingredients in their pizza. I step in the restaurant and I look at their menu I didn't see if they slice pizza available I ask they say no. I decided order a turkey and cheese sub and 12 pieces Wing to go. I arrive home I open the containers and the food looks goods and I took a bite of the turkey and cheese sub it taste very good and enjoy the flavors of the sandwich and I started with the wings. The wings were also good little bit salty I have a choice of flavors including Buffalo I choose Buffalo flavors . I was very concerned when I discovered new ownership has taken over. The original owners were amazing, and we had a good relationship with them. They will be missed. New owners I really don't know, but my review is going to be on the food. Pizza may not be as thick as before, but all the flavor is still there. The wings were amazing. No complaints. I don't know what it is about their pizza but I've had times where I craved it. I like my breads on the doughy side and Gina's crusts is nice and chewy. It depends on your preferences for sure, as my husband likes crispy crusts. But I'm very happy with Gina's and I'll continue to order from them! read more

The pizza used to be so big it came out of the box. Now it tastes like it came out of a box. Up until the new owner or manager or whatever is going on here, this was my favorite pizza place in all of LA. It's been my go to since high school, and last night I ordered my usual large pepperoni, wings and wedges and what I got was first of all, a massive slap in the face for 66 dollars(which before I did not mind at all because the pizza was worth it) because this pizza was awful. Hardly any cheese, sauce tastes bland, the dough seems premade or frozen. The chicken was just sad. The potatoes wedges were the only thing that still seemed good. It's been a couple years since going to Gina's for pizza. I remember it was very good but not so much now. Don't know what has happened but I ordered for delivery a medium pizza with a Coke for delivery. My pizza arrived, lukewarm and no Coke. My order was $32 plus tip $5 since it wasn't the drivers fault. My pizza was meh! The sauce tasted just out of the can, the dough was no longer the same didn't even have salt and not completely cooked. I actually had to air fry it for a bit for 4 minutes to heat and cook though. Their dough used to be very very good. The young man that took my order was nice, he explained they were busy so I would need to wait 40 minutes for delivery and that's ok. Pizza was different. No flavor and the crust collapsed that was my favorite part. The dough was raw I sent it back to cook longer this was how I got it back still raw. I've only been here twice but TODAY is the big reason why I'm giving this place all stars. So my friends business is nearby and while I was helping her do something, her son said he was going to get something. Turns out he walked over to the pizza place. Guess he was pacing back and forth because he didn't want to ask his mom for money after realizing that the money he had been saving wasn't enough to get a small pizza. Hands down the best Pizza place in town. The prices are very affordable and the customer service is wonderful! My favorite is Canadian Bacon, but the potato wedges and wings are also great. I can't wait to try some pasta or a few of their other menu item. I am all for supporting local business and especially when you have such a hidden gem like this one. I would recommend anyone in the SGV and or East LA area to stop by you will not be disappointed. The pizza crust and sauce taste really fresh and the quality shines through.
