Been coming here since I was a kid. Before covid, before the remodel. The service is always done with a smile and they're very accommodating. Some of the best and most underrated breakfast burritos in Stockton. The vibe in the cafe is always great and people happy to be working there. Never had a bad experience until I just found out they don't even open and serve breakfast burritos until 11am which is when they used to stop serving burritos. Can no longer stop by on an early morning and grab one so that was disappointing, but nonetheless great food and great service. read more

Gina's is like a hidden gym. You don't notice it but once you try it you cannot get enough. The service was amazing, I was greeted on the spot, the coffee was deliciously made and the food was to die for! I would rate it 10/10 for food, prices, cleanliness and customer service. Breakfast has gone down hill. Ordered a bacon breakfast burrito that was mostly greasy undercooked hash browns and literally 1 slice of bacon. Husband ordered scrambled eggs that were very over cooked (brown), greasy hash browns and barely toasted toast. Used to be a regular customer for years but not anymore. This is a long overdue review. I brought my nieces, nephews, brother and sister here during the super bowl weekend. We each ordered an individual lunch. One of my nieces ordered a mini pizza. They took an hour to finally bring out everyone's order. I hate to play the race card, but we got there before several families and got our food last. The whole order ended up being super bland and the service was terrible. I honestly don't think we should have had to pay for most of the food due to the disrespect and the fact that it took so long for everything to arrive. My biscuits and gravy was served barley warm, but the gravy was tasty. Would have been really good had it been served hot instead of barely warm. My Bacon was very fatty, my haahbrowns were more well done than I wanted. They potatoes were dried out maybe if they served more this would be a problem. My eggs were good and my toast was on the burnt side. Overall my breakfast was not worth the wait. My hubby & son ordered omelettes. One all meat with cheddar and another with veggies and meat. Loved this place for years, unfortunately since the remodel it has been down hill. The last 2 visits about 6 months apart, there was little staff, items were unavailable which had been staples, factually took an hour for breakfast, again with a few patrons and 2 staff. New cash system and a 3% fee on debit cards with lack of service, empathy or didn't even care. Hmm was not impressed with the food here is why: Cons: 1. Is kind of on the expensive side for 2 turkey omelettes, a lemonade and a latte the total came out to $28.99 yikes :( 2. The omelette was not tasty at all it was burned and it was hard to tell what was in it, it was supposed to be turkey, but really I couldn't tell what I was eating, also the hash browns that came with the meal where SUPER GREASY, AND RAW BLAH. 3. I am guessing this company is part of Michael"s New York style pizza although it has it's own entrance. Gina's is definitely a wonderful place to grab breakfast or a cup of excellent coffee. There is a great selection of breakfast items and about 8 to 10 carafes of ready to drink coffee on hand. I didn't have time to eat breakfast today but I did see and was able to smell the wonderful aroma of one of their freshly prepared breakfast plates. I know I will be back. read more

The weekend cooks have improved and are very good although still a notch below the weekday cooks. There are breakfast regulars who order up things like the Volcano, a biscuit and gravy dish with eggs and meat and hash browns. All in all a great place to have breakfast or lunch. read more

It's tough being that it's a local joint to us and having had Michael's we figured Gina's would be just as good. Highly disappointed in the overall experience. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito, and half order of Biscuits n gravy. Wife ordered the Veggie omelette with white toast. First thing first, the Burrito was huge and delicious the highlight of the meal. The only highlight. The Biscuits n gravy was cold. Eh been thru worse but the sad part is, I should have complained like the table behind us, maybe it could have been warmed up, like theirs was. Although that should never be the case. Veggie omelette came with just Bell peppers and mushroom, although it was suppose to be "spinach, onions, Bell peppers and mushrooms" And the white toast apparently was invisible because we didn't receive it. First time coming here. The service wasn't that great, the waitress/host was not very welcoming. The biscuits and gravy were just okay, I asked for eggs with it and the eggs were drenched in oil. The snickers bar mocha was decent. The place is nice if you're looking for a quick, decent meal but not really for a breakfast with friends or brunch. This place is small and connected to a pizza joint but the food and coffee is great. Take a seat in a booth and grab a menu. I had the ham & cheese scramble with onions. It also came with hash brown potatoes. The portions were perfect and it was not too greasy! Yum! The coffee is "grab your own" at the counter and for refills. I had the Italian roast. It was strong, just the way I liked it. My server, Vanesza, was nice. She was serving and taking orders alone and keeping up. Pay at counter. Parking out front off the street. I love the breakfast and pizza here and it's my go to spot but these past few times at gina's cafe, the service has been extremely slow. There was only 2 gentleman at one table and I sat down with my grandma. It took 40 minutes to make two omelettes with no other customers. The cook is either new or slow. I had to ask for it to go and even then no apology from either the guy at the counter or cook. To top it off, I asked for a to go cup for my grandmas juice and she was super slow to bring the cups. The place needs employees with a sense of urgency. I hope the service improves but from other yelp reviews, I don't believe the owners pay attention to complaints on here. read more

I looked around and was just shocked on how quiet it was, considering michaels pizza is in the same restaurant as the coffee shop. I wasn't sure what to get so I hesitated at the counter, the nice lady that helped me greeted me and asked if I was ready, I told her no since I was struggling to find my favorite drink on their menu -I usually get from Starbucks, so I asked her if she can make something hot with caramel, without a pause said said they have caramel macchiato that's pretty good and My eyes light up, I don't even know why I got so excited. Lol I got a 20 oz hot caramel macchiato with xtra caramel sauce on Wednesday 11/26 and since then I have gotten 3 more caramel macchiato. The price is $5.28. I've been going to Gina's Cafe for years and never had any problems but recently I called to complain about some takeout and when I spoke to Gina she treated me so unprofessionally and rude, as if though I just wanted a free meal I was very offended by this, she said, I'll call you back! and never returned my call I went to speak to her in person but she was not there and a young man told me she had horrible people skills and still she never reached out so I will never be eating there again. read more

It seems they employ a lot of inexperienced people who don't know what they are doing or how to do it. We noticed other patrons wondefring what happened to their food as well. Thsi place is connected to Michaels pizza, same dining area and all. Gins'a has its own grill while the pizza place has its own ovens etc. The place needs a thourough cleaning inside and out. We went to this cafe on Saturday at 10:00 am. It was not busy. We like to support local neighborhood business. We have supported Michaels Piizza for over 20 years. We wil not be returning for their breakfast service. The waitress is lovely. The cook had sweat running off his head. Gross! The girl did not bring our beverages until our food arrived..which was about 25 to 30 minutes. My egg was totally running..the egg white was like snot. The biscuit & gravy..the gravy was cold. My husband's hamburger pattie was completely blackened. The waitress finally returned with my biscuit & gravy probably another 10 to 15 minutes. It appeared the owner blew in for a few minutes during this time and left.. By this time there were several little league families now. Poor service, poor management. The young lady who works in the café named Sarah is the ONLY reason my husband and I give this location our business.
