I shop few times a year from this Gilroy premium outlets, it is a very nice place for shopping. You can find different varieties of shops, prices are good. The best time to go if you can is during the week as the weekends are very crowded. Coach, Saks, Francesca's, the Disney store, and I love the children's clothing stores. I regularly visit the Coach store, I found their merchandise to be in season and a large selection. The deals are Fantastic. read more

I do like the Gilroy outlets, 'tho there's four quadrants, so you need to walk across the fields and streets to get to 'em all. They have a good mixture of stores. They don't have any high end fashion couture other than what you'd find at Saks Off Fifth (even their selection isn't divalicious). But they have all of the staples of stuff for guys, girls, kids, babies and lots of shoes. If you do a YELP CHECK IN you can get their "Passport" which is a $5 value (you can also get by showing your AAA membership card) that entitles you to some discounts ranging from 10-25% off or around $25, but many are handcuffed to purchase minimums of $50 to $125. It's worth getting nonetheless 'tho since it's free and if you're shopping and spending anyway why not save more. read more

We love stopping by here when were on our way to Monterey. They offer a nice amount of shops to browse, currently though some are disappearing left and right! The once food court they had has been stripped down to bare bones! Just a kiosk that nobody is really at or also known as the "information desk" and a watch store, oh also the restrooms. They have an in-n-out here as well so you can't go wrong! Here's the kicker though! Not all of these stores are "outlet stores" some are but the others are actual stores, so don't be surprised when you're getting charged full price for an item. read more

This outlet center reminded me of a bunch of strip malls next to each other. I'd like to go back and just walk around the area. I have been coming here for decades... It is a nice drive from the South Bay and is the biggest outlet mall I have ever been to with a lot of great options. It does get busy on the weekend, so plan accordingly. Just wish they had better dining options but there is an In N Out right by the exit. read more

I love coming here sometimes. They have interesting stores. The one thing I don't like is this mall have 4 different shopping centers and I wish its all in one so we don't have to walk to others centers or drive to each one. This is one of the better outlet malls in the Bay Area. They have a wide variety of stores and many have good inventory and deals. It's a large area of stores and there are some restaurants. It's close enough to downtown Gilroy to go to other stores and restaurants. It's a good place to go shopping for a day. read more

Love how many stores they have but I just wished they were all in one area instead of across the street, few blocks down etc. It can get tiresome to get in and drive around but luckily the Friday we were here, they were plenty of parking spots. Gilroy Premium Outlets is an outdoor MaLL that is broken into 4 separate quadrants. The sales are in abundance and the brands range from Nike, Gap, Coach, and Calvin Klein [just to name a few]. Being outdoor enforces the fact that you must come prepared with sunblock, thick layers or possibly an umbrella- depending on the season. The layout in itself is widely spaced out when it comes to the quadrants. To be honest, it's can get kind of annoying during the hot, sweaty seasons. You either tough it out- haul your shopping bags along the strip of stores and through the massive parking lots just to make your way to the next section of shops or you hope in your car and battle it out for parking. 3.5 stars in my eyes. Do yourself a favor and spare yourself the grief|headache by visiting on a weekday if you schedule allows for this. read more

The Gilroy Outlets are a place with so many sales!! You can find really good deals with whatever you're looking for. We walked through 3 buildings filled with stores and it around 5 hours total. We came here on a Saturday and parking was still plentiful. I think that if you come here, you should come with a plan of things you might want to buy because all the stores might be a bit overwhelming. The only cons are that it smells like manure sometimes when you go outside. Additionally, since it is an outlet, some selections might not be as nice. Also, there aren't many food places so you're going to be coming here mainly to shop. read more

The Gilroy outlets are my all-time favorite outlets in ALL of California! I live in Los Angeles, and whenever I NEVER travel to the bay area without stopping at the Gilroy outlets! All of the stores, with an exception of Forever 21 which is basically just a regular store with no deal, always have the most amazing deals. My favorite stores are Coach, Aeropostale, and J. Crew. The Coach outlets not only have amazing customer service, but also amazing deals. I bought a coach bag that was originally $350 and took it home for $109! Aeropostale always has huge sale margins on all their clothes, and J. Crew has the most amazing, personable staff along with great deals as well. Even if you don't think you would typically find something in these stores that are for you, check out these stores and see if you like something. There is also NO crazy outlet experience that you would usually find in an outlet like the ones I'm used to. There's no crowded atmosphere, so you can come in and get as much stuff as you want without feeling cramped with people or worried someone else will snatch something out of your hand. Because of this, there are also very short, if any, lines so you can get in and out. The food court is O.K., but the surrounding food places such as In N' Out, Denny's, and even McDonald's which has special garlic fries specific to Gilroy are very good and convenient. Overall, the Gilroy outlets are amazing and easily favorite outlets in California. You should definitely try this outlets out some time! read more

The roommate and I are going on a snow trip next month. Since I was down in SJ last week, we decided to make a trip to the Gilroy Premium Outlets. We stopped by on Saturday, November 12th around 1:15pm. Our main goal was to go to The North Face Outlet. Luckily, they were having a sale on most items, so I got a triclimate jacket at 40% off, ski pants for less than $30, and a beanie at 30% off. I also got the roommate a pair of waterproof snow gloves at 30% off. And this was on top of the lower outlet prices. Definitely a productive shopping trip. We also visited Lululemon Athletica and Columbia Sportswear Outlet, but didn't find anything there. I've been to this outlet a couple of times over the years and I've gotten clothing from the Banana Republic Factory Store, makeup from The Cosmetics Company Store, etc. I'm sure I've been to more, but I can't recall which stores exactly. The variety here is pretty average. The only thing I don't like about these outlets is how spread apart the sections are. (I believe there are four different sections?) Depending on where you want to go, you may have to do quite a bit of driving to get from one area to another. I'd rather go to one big outlet mall and walk around. Maybe that's the city girl in me, but it seems like a lot of unnecessary driving. Pretty decent outlet mall. I love The North Face, so that's normally my main reason for coming here. read more

I don't stop in here too often. When I'm in the area, I tend to gravitate to Off Fifth and Converse. I do find some good buys in Off Fifth and things that I don't need, become the must have since it's such a good price. The Gilroy outlet store layout is an confusingly placed/designed. There are 4 different sections that all require you to get in the car and head to each different one. This is a challenge with little kids to load, get out and unpack and then have to load and do it all over again 4 different times. They do have some decent stores but overall the deals aren't that great. read more

This outlet is awkward... What I expected is 1 outlet center and not 3. When I say 3, there are 3 different centers with 3 different parking lots and at different intersections. It's kind of a fiasco because there are some stores I wanted to go to at 1 and some at others. We drove to 2 and finally gave up so we just drove around the parking lot to check out the stores and if there were any stores we wanted to check out, we would just park. It was too hot to shop. The good thing about this outlet is that it's not crowded. We came right when they opened luckily and parking was a breeze. Even when we went from one outlet to another. When we went there weren't many sales or deals. In fact, we didn't even buy anything. It's worth a look when you are around the area. We stayed in Monterey and it's about an hour drive out. Traffic is a hit and miss even during the weekday. read more

Shopping for stuff that doesn't involve electronics, gadgets, gizmos, or games usually bores me within half an hour. I understand the need to buy clothes occasionally, but occasionally usually means the stuff I'm wearing has holes, is faded to some shade of gray (my favorite color), or no longer fits. I'm here in this chaotic mess. Today is BLACK FRIDAY and it's 2 AM! OMG, what am I doing here?? I arrived at the outlet at 11pm. Circled around and around. Finally found parking behind the outlet (where employees usually park) at 11:20pm. O_O Parking was qwjdhueafshd!! Crazy! Lines to just get into the stores, lines to go into the fitting rooms, lines to make purchases. What the heck??? I've never gone shopping in the dark this early in the AM before! Zombie-ish... -.- Many of the popular stores had security guards outside regulating how many people could come in and go out. Thank goodness for them. I think next year I'm coming before Black Friday because all the sales start about 2 days before. It's nice that a lot of stores had 50% off everything from midnight til mid-morning, but just not worth the madness and the wait! It felt like people were taking things like they were free or something!! Shopping here today was such a huge turnoff. Kenneth Cole was PACKED with people, you couldn't even move around in the store! When we are going up to SF this is the place we stop by and shop at. They do have a few stores that are pretty cool. They have a Lulu store, Columbia store and Anne Taylor and plenty of other stores. The only thing that is quite weird it that the place is super empty but I guess that is a good thing when you don't have to worry about parking. Last time we stopped here I did enjoy getting a few things from Lululemon a shorts and also pants. It is still a little bit pricy but they do last forever!!! read more

Much better here than Great Mall. I go here as its cheaper taxes than Alameda county taxes! Trust me the taxes still make a difference! You can always drive to the four sections of stores. They have it all. It's an outdoor mall so very hot during the summer but all the stores have AC. During the holidays, it's packed so I would suggest to go here first thing in the morning to get the first inventory. =). They have my fave stores like Coach, Nike, Vans, Charlotte Rosse, Gap and more! It will take at least 4 hours or more to go through all the stores...lol. I think this place is a worthwhile visit during one of the crazy sale times. Of course you have to battle the crazy people and insane parking, etc. but ... overall there are quite a bit of great stores here. Specifically, Asics, New Balance, North Face ... great places to get outdoor and specialty gear that you would normally have to pay a significant mark up for at normal stores. I find it to be extremely convenient for shoes. I think they also opened a new Tory Burch outlet ... I am not sure. I used to be a huge TB fan so this was really exciting. I think they have a lot of stores that many other outlets don't have, of course it isn't as good as San Marcos, TX or Camarillo, CA or of course the infamous New Jersey one. Sigh... definitely was better when i was like 8 or 9. I forget if the stores have changed over the past decade but it used to be poppin'. The deals are good but i wouldnt say it has the hottest stuff, but obviously you gotta be strategic with outlet shopping, and i picked up a couple items i thought were great deals. Good place to walk on a moderate weather day, i'd def say its a good exercise. Bathrooms are clean and mostly all the stores i went to gave out free bags, which is niice cause i forgot my shopping bag. The premise is also clean and well kept which is nice. All in all, good place, but wish it was more updated lile livermore.. but also idk if this is strategic amongst outlet managements. read more

This place is really hit or miss. I feel some stores have the same prices as their counterparts at the malls and other stores can have amazing deals. Honestly I prefer the mall for a few simple reasons: 1. Parking is easier 2. Stores are all indoors so you don't melt from the Gilroy heat, and there was more lunch options. With that being said, I do love me some Coach! I also love the toddler stores since I have a new Nephew and and crazy in love with him and how little it costs to dress him compared to my expensive 23 year old daughter! Okay, I spoil her too so let's be real here. I just like to buy things but like I said in my review for Coach, my wallet is constantly empty. Yup empty. So I try really hard to stay away from this whole area if at all possible. There are a lot of stores and some tend to come and go so you may want to check on-line before coming to make sure your favorite store is still there. Parking is crazy on the weekends so if you can, come during the week. I work near by so if I have to come, I do it after work or on my lunch hour. There is a great assortment of stores at the Gilroy Outlets ranging from high end to your everyday Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe. My favorites include Banana Republic, Under Armour, Lululemon, and Coach. Great deals can be found at most stores. Recently my boyfriend bought a complete suit at Banana Republic for $240 which was 50% off the total price. I have purchased a few Coach purses at the outlets for 30-40% off in the past. Both are amazing deals!!! A few negatives of the Gilroy Outlets is that it is entirely outdoors so make sure to bring your sunscreen unless you want to get fried. It seems like Gilroy is always hot any time of the year. The outlets are also divided into four different areas that you either have to walk (long walk) or drive and find a new parking spot. It is kinda tedicious reparking your car all the time. I wish there was some form of pedestrian crossing to make it easier to get from one section to another. Not so long ago in a garlic-xy far, far away in the town of Gilroy, somebody decided it would be good outlet design to group stores together in buildings away from each other so that patrons would have two guilty consciences when leaving: one for spending so much money, and another for adding to their carbon footprint by driving 0.03mi from Building A to B. Despite the logistical nightmare that is the transportation for this place, there were 2 places here that thankfully rescued it from outlet redundancy - a. The Jelly Belly outlet - how can you not like a store committed to complete and total jelly bean advocacy and appreciation when they have a bean in every flavor imaginable? b. The Lululemon outlet - apparently only one of four nationwide. But you can't tell because everyone who shops here is already wearing Lululemon so it feels like these must be pretty common. read more
