Service center clown house! ( I bought a quad during this debacle/ I guess 5 stars? "That one!" "It's $$$$" "Can you do $$$?" "OK!" Done! Easy peazy) But on the service side? Needed brakes done on a Kawasaki Mule. Quoted ~$500-$600. 7-10 days.. Called me the next day ~$2500. Oh no! Major issues? No "we just got the price wrong". You.. 'got the price wrong?' I can see it doubling or if it needed extra parts, but 5x the quote? SHADY. 2 weeks go by, I call, put on hold for five minutes, so I hang up. Call back, "oh yeah the brake pads are back ordered somebody called you." Nobody called me. "yeah sorry nobody called you. Somebody was supposed to call you." Great. I go on Amazon 50 different companies selling brake pads. I order some/ next day delivery. Call back "the pads just showed up.!!" Yep. Uh huh. Another week goes by/ I call, "somebody was supposed to call you and update". Nobody called me. "Yea, sorry, nobody called you". I go pick up my quad, they say "mule probably ready tomorrow end of business" I keep checking my phone all day. Nada. Nobody calls me. The next morning I'm headed out of town. I get an email saying "we called you yesterday and left two messages. It's ready to go." No you didn't. "Oh, sorry, we didn't.. our bad., but it's ready to go!" So now it's next day/ ON MY SATURDAY, it's 30 minutes to town pulling a trailer, they bring it around, they didn't fix the parking brake. Brake pads, parking brake, oil change. Not complicated. So now it's been a month! Still waiting. If you need a new quad, I recommend Hilary in sales! She's great! Just pray whatever you get never breaks down. This rant sadly is 100% accurate with no hyperbole or exaggeration. Such a bummer. I did win 50$ from my wife, betting they didn't fix it! Using it to buy a bucket of Advils and a big bottle of cheap bourbon. read more

Buying the Honda ATV was a good experience. The sales person was friendly and efficient and he delivered it to our house, 9-1/2 miles out of town. We have had it a little over a year now and a little wrench icon came up on the display. I looked at the maintenance checklist and could not find a few things that are supposed to be checked. I called to ask if a service person could come to our house and go through the checklist and teach me how to find the filters, etc. Turns out the ATV always must go to the shop for any checkup. There is nothing wrong with the machine since it has not been driven that much so I do not understand why I cannot just pay someone to come to my home. Of course if it had any problems I would pay them to pick it up and take it to the shop. read more

This is a great dealership if you like having your significant other sexually harassed and given the run around while they "work on your bike" originally purchased my 25 grom from here from Hilary back in April of this year great experience at first! At 796 miles my clutch began to heavily slip not a big deal on Saturday 8/9 I dropped my bike off went and was talking to salesman Josh about other bike options to potentially purchase in the conversation he decided it was okay to stare at my girlfriends chest as well as giving her inappropriate looks/stares we both took notice to that and was starting to wrap up our conversation as we were both not interested in working with someone who thought that was wise and in wrapping up our conversation he started making comments about how "motorcycles on and off road is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on" he then proceeded to look at her and said "I bet you know a lot about that" that was a unacceptable behavior that should have been a sign to pull my bike and take it else where, I was informed that I would receive a call with a update that day at the end of the day I had not received a call so I called I understand things get busy oh well I was told they would have to contact Honda for any warranty issues for my clutch Monday not a big deal Monday rolls around nothing Tuesday rolls around I call and they said our tech is busy with another job he'll get to it tomorrow wensday 5 pm no call I call again same thing our tech will get to it tomorrow Thursday once again no call 5 pm rolls around I call our tech called out sick can't get it done today,Friday finally I had some hope we might get some progress I have to call again nope same thing our tech is out. I informed them I will be by tomorrow to pick it up regardless if it's done or not You would think there would be more then 1 tech in the whole shop that could at least do something to fix my bike finally a week later I show up paperwork not ready or complete they ended up just handing me the keys to it no paper work. On a positive note through this experience I have discovered that hollister Powersports 15 minutes down the road not only sells so many brands of on and off road toys (including Honda) but they don't sexually harness your girlfriend they'll actually do what they say and make sure that your vehicle is well taken care of,repaired in a very timely manner as well as do what it takes to just simply make it right Gilroy motor cycle center has lost a customer and hollister powersports has gained one for life! read more

This place has the biggest selection of brands and in stock models than any other motorcycle dealer for at least 100 miles. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Further, the service department is amazing. Pete and his team helped me get my Husky 701 Supermoto back in running order. A factory defect in the cylinder head was a major problem. Just out of warranty, Pete abc his team assisted in getting KTM to cover parts. A short time later, the new head was installed and the bike runs like new! I just took it back for a valve inspection/adjustment, and they handled the job quickly and at a very reasonable price. Thank you Gilroy Motorcycle Center! I came in on a Saturday just before closing time to trade in my 2023 Ninja 400 ABS & got the paper work started. Returned the next day to a clean and prepped 2023 CBR650R ABS . I rode there in 88 degree weather & was super hot and sweaty.... Luckily they had very strong AC and cold water . They gave me recommendations and what felt like unbiased opinions and experience. This was all before I even purchased a motorcycle or owned one. I bought a bike from a buddy and it had the service light on. I took the motorcycle in and felt very confident leaving it at the shop with them. Walked me through the inspection and what would be serviced. John was pleased I had my owners manual. I learned that ownership also means responsibility and that I needed to know more about my own bike. I was very happy when I picked up my bike the next day and it was looking brand new. I wasn't expecting it to look brand new. It was Sandy and dirty when I brought it in but shiny when I rode away with it. John went the extra mile for me and I really appreciated it. I won't take my bike to anywhere else and will recommend anyone and everyone to come here. 11/10 on my experience. The sales staff are also nice but the service department really blew me away. Purchased a used BMW R Nine T Racer at a great deal from Greg over email/phone as I'd be flying in from LA to pick it up. Riding down PCH on the new motorcycle was sublime and I had zero issues during the 7 hours total trip. Needed a Honda ATV battery. Bought one for $159 - came to $173 with tax. Brought it home and installed; it was dead. Voltmeter = 6v; should have been 12v. Drove back and exchanged battery for a new one. Staff did not apologize. Got to the car only to see the price on the box was $126?! Went back inside and was told by the mgr on duty that the battery came from a different supplier, they have rent to pay, outdated sticker, etc., etc. Finally got a refund. At no time did they apologize - for the price or the fact the first battery was dead. Further, the same exact battery is $109 on Amazon. All for supporting local business, but not Gilroy Motorcycle Center! Never again! read more

Like everyone, I'm busy. I own a street bike. I woke up Friday morning and decided I wanted a dirt bike. I did my due diligence and decided the KTMXC-W TPI was the right bike for me. So I call Hilary, the Sales Manager, at Gilroy Motorcycle Center as they are a KTM (among other manufacturers) dealer. Hilary was a wealth of information. Answered all of my questions and validated that the KTM was the right bike for me. She gave me a great deal and over the phone, handled all the financing which was very favorable for me. Saturday morning I roll out to their facility to sign the paperwork and pick out some accessories for the bike in which she was again, very knowledgeable. Before making the drive out, I told her I (quite literally) had only 45 minutes to accomplish these tasks. While I'm there, I noticed the Husqvarna Vitpilen 701. Again, Hilary answered all of my questions and I decide I want that bike as well...but I only have 45 minutes and I'm out of time. I put a $500 deposit down on the bike to hold it and on my way back to San Jose, Hilary and I negotiate the deal on the phone and an hour later I have, once again, very favorable financing on that bike. So what's the moral of the story? If you want a bike, go see Hilary. She'll work a deal for you, get you favorable financing and do it quickly. Time is money. Thanks, Hilary! read more

Last year I bought my first starter bike here from Hilary. She was zero-pressure sales and had great knowledge of the bikes and options I was looking at. I settled on a KTM 390 Duke. When I was ready to upgrade, I thought I would try the local shops to save the 70 mile round-trip ride to Gilroy. Big mistake - I was let down by the local KTM shop both in sales and service. So I called Hilary. Not only did she remember me, she had all the details of specials and incentives that I could not pry out of the local dealer - and she offered them up without me asking! I knew exactly the bike I was after (KTM 790 Duke) and we worked the details over the phone/email. Done deal. When I arrived, my new bike was prepped and ready to go, and all the paperwork was completed. All I had to do was sign and drive away. It doesn't get much better than that. Where to start well I live around 180 miles away so a 360 round trip just for my first service on one of my new can am spyders the first one I had serviced at my local dealer and spent around 750.00 and after getting home and getting ready for a road trip I double checked my tire pressure and oil level only to find tire pressures way off and definitely not checked so on my wife's bike I called Gilroy and talked to a Justin in which he gave me a price booked the appointment and informed me if I needed to cancel it it would not be a problem and gave me a much better price let alone I didn't think it could be any worse. Well the day of the service we got up early rode the miles to Gilroy to check in with a Jeff a service writer who was waiting for us wrote everything up and got started. We went to breakfast and when we got back and after a very short wait our trike was ready I also found out that there was a recall on the trike which they took care of and in the estimate Jeff had quoted me the price including the oil change kit but he made a mistake and quoted me the filter kit for a ryker which was less I offered to pay the proper amount but they wouldn't let me said it was there error their store is beautiful everyone I encountered was very friendly so bottom line I will be returning there for my service and any other bike or trike I might want to buy and I highly recommend them.
