So when our washer standpipe started overflowing yet again, I called them out. This was the last time I will ever call them. They did send someone out (I didn't catch his name, he didn't introduce himself), but the 20 minute heads-up call that someone was on their way came as he was literally ringing our doorbell, I showed him down to the area where our main drain is located, he repeatedly asked about our bulkhead doors. Our bulk head is in ill-repair, so we don't use it, and don't really want to be liable for anyone else using it, so I said it was not accessible (he asked 3 more times after that). He asked when our last date of service was, I couldn't remember, it has been over 2 years, so he said he had to "ask his girl", so he trucks outside cell phone in his pocket to do so. I already had a bad feeling from all of the negativity being spewed at me, direct quote: "You guys are killing me." 5 minutes later he rings the door and states that due to a reoccurring knee injury, he can not perform the job, and he is apparently the only tech that works for the company, because he offered no other tech that would be available tomorrow, next day, etc, he did give me 2 names of "buddies" of his that may be able to do the job... Hmmm, to trust his recommendation... ?!? Apparently, they are not to worried about keeping repeat business.

He looked over all the pipes and drains and knew right away it would be just an easy fix by sending a snake down to unclog the drain. They reviewed the plan and concluded nothing should be done at the present time so no need to spend any money, very refreshing. We did hire them to run a camera down a small section of the line where we had a depression forming in the road. The crew was there when promised, ran the camera down from both ends of the suspected section and determined there was no collapse, peace of mind for a few hundred dollars. We will definitely be calling Granite State should future problems arise with our sewer lines.
