Most people share horror stories about moving but Magic Movers is just that, magic! From the moment I met Dustin, I knew I picked a Winner. Genuine, sincere and keeps his word. Prompt, honest and goes the extra mile for you. Demonstrates his knowledge and experience by pointing out the subtleties of moving taking into timing and how to expertly protecting your furniture and possessions, even the Prized Possessions. His crew were an absolute pleasure to invite into my home with total trust. No need to worry about micro managing Magic Movers. You really can sit back and relax, knowing you are in the best hands possible. Now to the Bottom Line. The estimate did not waver one penny from the final price and was, in my opinion, so fair and reasonable that I couldn't believe it!!!!! In all my 66 years of living and moving, I have never had such a wonderful experience. From planning my move to the actual physical move and "finished product" at the end of the 2 day move ( Day 1 packing, Day 2 physical move ) was to my surprise, stress free and enjoyable. Not kidding one bit. I specifically used the word enjoyable. Who would ever expect that? Did I just say enjoyable? Absolutely! I am not showboating for this company. They earned every compliment. Dustin and his Crew are real Renaissance men. Call me (401) 480-9077 if you have any questions or concerns. The potentially most stressful experience turned out to be a stress free wonderful experience. I am totally blown away from the professionalism.

The total invoice was quoted at $3,582.30. Due to service issues and property damage during the move, I explicitly authorized only one partial payment of $1,791.15, which I clearly wrote, signed, and dated on the invoice on 10/25/25. Despite this written limitation, the company retained my card information and later processed multiple additional charges on different dates without my approval. Attempts to resolve the matter and address damages were unsuccessful, and communication eventually stopped. I ultimately had to cancel my credit card to prevent further charges. This experience required formal disputes with my card issuer and complaints to consumer protection agencies. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company document all payment authorizations in writing and closely monitor their statements.

The whole situation is disturbing. The woman said she has over 20 Chihuahuas puppies & pit-bull puppies. She's not exactly sure what they are. They're in the back of this filthy overcrowded yard on the side of the building and all you can hear is dogs barking, and crying. They're hot, exhausted, and one looked very small, very sick, and might even have mange. They are so incredibly neglected and mistreated. There wasn't even anyone outside watching them. They are stuck out in the heat to bake in the sun while the humans hang out inside. I will NEVER support a store or owner who would do this to animals for greed. Foul foul behavior. You should be ashamed of yourself.

His help (that he called "people in recovery") was a bs way of saying charging customers for him hiring drunks. Our stuff was damaged and he is not bonded though he lied about that too. Be careful with this guy. We wish we'd have researched it better and looked at his other online reviews expressing the same concern of character. He acts nice to get your business. Whats underneath is a dishonest flake.

The primary reason that I'm writing a review is because Marcos called me about a week after the…read moremove to ask me if I would consider writing a review for him and he said that it would be a good way to "thank him" -- did he forget that I hired him to help me move and that he was paid? Shouldn't that be thanks enough? I was moving stuff from Flagstaff to Phoenix and had let Marcos know that I was running a little later than the original timeline. He said that was fine. I called him and let him know what time worked for me, and he said that was fine -- then he contacted me to let me know he was running behind (by about an hour and a half). I was clearing out an appt in Flagstaff and had lots of trash, some items that could be sold, and stuff I was keeping. Marcos asked if it would be okay if he took some of the things which could be sold for himself, to sell. He said he would return within 45 minutes to clear out the rest of the apartment, pack up the uhaul and get rid of the trash. I told him that would be fine (it would be trashed anyways). Instead of returning in 45 minutes, he came back about two hours later. I had finished all the packing I had to do, and I had to wait around for him to return. All in all, he did a good job packing the uhaul, and he was very friendly but the fact that he was consistently behind schedule, and not upfront about that was not pleasing at all, considering that I had to drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix with a uhaul and wanted to get on the road before sunset. He made false promises when it came to time, and I thought that was very unprofessional. The fact that he called me asking to write him a review seemed sort of unprofessional as well. I would've preferred an email. This moving company will get the job done and he is competent, but be wary if you are on a specific time limit.

The worst moving experience I have ever had. Please, do not use these movers!…read more Communication was terrible. I called to confirm the schedule, and (much later) received a text message as a reply, rather than a call. Sketchy, but okay. Movers showed up two hours late, without masks. When asked to wear a mask, they put them on for a bit, but two out of the three quickly took theirs off (and one was spitting all over my yard--horrifying in a pandemic). I really should have asked them to leave as soon as I saw them without masks! I had furniture to take apart, but the movers had absolutely no tools, which is very strange. I had to go out and buy my own tools, took apart my furniture, and showed up at my storage unit the next day to add the furniture. I was horrified at the contents. My belongings--including delicate, breakable items--were literally thrown inside, with no absolutely no care or organization. There were bags and bags of unopened moving blankets, paid for along with my moving box, that the movers had simply decided not to use. My breakable glass pictures were just thrown in there. And the damage! The slats from a bed frame had punched through a bookcase, absolutely ruining it. The unwrapped breakables (including furniture--none of my furniture was wrapped--and the lack of organization (a box almost fell out on the U-Haul representative who opened it) makes this box unshippable. Everything will have to be taken out, wrapped, and repacked before use. I called the moving company to see what they could do to make this right, but they absolutely refused to work with me. I understand that they were on another job at the time of my call, but considering the state of my storage unit, I asked if they would re-pack my box. However, the person I spoke to--Adam--was incredibly rude and condescending. When I mentioned that none of the moving blankets had been used, he suggested that of course not all of them would be used.... even though there were bags and bags of unopened bags of blankets, and my breakables--including framed wedding photos--were thrown inside with no care. He also denied responsibility and said he didn't know anything about the box, even though he was leading the move. As a customer, I have never been treated so poorly. Beware of using this company. When they get paid, they are done with you, and don't care about your experience. I have submitted a dispute through my credit card company, and with all the photos I have of the sorry state of my moving box , I am hopeful of a positive result.

We told them to go kick rocks and looked for someone else -- and I'm so glad we did!!! American Professional Moving are honest, professional, informative, courteous, upfront, and reasonable with their prices (no hidden fees!) Andrew and Mike showed up and were absolutely awesome! They were careful with our heavy furniture (and I mean HEAVY bedroom furniture made of oak and mahogany, not that cheap Ikea kinda crap). I swear they brought their Superman superhuman strength and hauled all the furniture down two flights of stairs, packing them nicely in the truck as to not scratch or damage anything (they're insured so if they damage anything, they pay for it), then carefully drove the truck to the new location, unpacked everything and hauled it up another two flights of stairs. I'm telling you, these two men were phenomenal!!! Andrew even managed to use his "magic" and shimmy a refrigerator thru the smallest doorway possible without removing doors or anything! (I know his secret, but will NEVER tell. Ha!) Both Andrew and Mike were awesome -- really sweet and personable guys, too, which is nice to know down-to-earth kind people are moving you. (At least it is for me...) After busting their backs for 5 hours nonstop, they finally finished (which, considering how heavy everything was, and going up and down stairs, that was supersonic speed!) Then, because they were so cool and awesome, I ran out and got them some ice cold "refreshments" to enjoy while we chilled for a minute and handled the invoice. Funny thing, I found out they actually were the same movers I had hired a few years ago to help move, however they had changed the name. Anyone looking for movers, call American Professional Moving!!! You won't be disappointed, I promise you!
