Dr. Laura Barres is truly the best and she has such a friendly and outgoing personality. On top of that she makes any procedure better and gets you in and out very quickly (plus they have TVs for you to watch). Jennifer does my cleanings and she is equally as friendly and amazing. The entire staff is so nice, it really is an awesome environment and I look forward to it now! They even have a new addition - Ralph, a mini golden doodle who is being trained to be a therapy dog to help patients to calm them and lay on their laps during cleanings and procedures! Plus he is sooo adorable! I love everyone there, they made me actually enjoy the dentist!

He is the ultimate professional, kind, caring, gentle, extremely knowledgeable, and above all he puts his patients first. He will do everything possible to save your teeth and to me, that's what it's all about. His staff are very kind and compassionate and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend this practice and know that you will find no finer dentist and staff in all of WNY!!

Ive spent a lot of time at Dr Young's office over the past year, and my experience has been as pleasant as one can expect from going to the dentist. After my ridiculous number of visits I have gotten to know Dr Young and the rest of the staff pretty well, and all of them are great and fun to chat with. I have obscure dental insurance, which took some work at first to figure out, but after that first visit, I haven't had any issues with billing, and the office has been patient and understanding with timing my appointments to accommodate my insurance limits. The office is open with high ceilings, a ton of natural light, and modern state of the art equipment. Its also incredibly clean and uncluttered and you will never have a difficult time finding parking since he has a good size private lot. By far my favorite thing about going to see Dr Young is his efficiency. I dont know if its just the fact that I usually take the first morning appointment, but I have been in and out of the office for a filling in less than 15 minutes, and I have never had to wait in the waiting room for any of my appointments. The only downside of finding a competent dentist is that scheduling is a bit tight and could take at least a month or two to get an appointment for anything more than a teeth cleaning. But a couple months is way better than 6 years. I am so thankful that I now have a dentist I dont dread visiting and I have been able to get my teeth back to where they should be.

After a short wait I was brought to a very nice work room. The dental assistant asked me some questions to put in my file, then went to get the doctor. Joke's on them, I love the new place and I recommend them highly.

We weren't happy with that practice for many reasons, and Altman Dental was recommended to us by many families that we are friends with. He sees me and my husband and even my 9 year old! He LOVES Dr. Altman ( even more than his Pediatrician which says a lot!). I just came here to say that I always have a great experience with the front desk ladies, while I'm in the chair Dr. Altman is conversational and is humorous and informative and explains what's happening as he's doing it. Today the first step of my implant has started and I needed this tooth pulled. It was a great experience! I don't doubt that he will check on me later. If you are looking for a new practice, I highly recommend!!! I have even seen Dr. Gellert and he's wonderful too. So glad we switched years ago. You will be in great hands coming here! 5 star practice from when you walk in and see the staff, to cleanings and procedures with the dentist! Thank you Altman Dental! Carrie Tsakiris

I had a horrible experience at this dental office and I don't recommend it…read more I believe this was my dental office for a year. I had come here a couple of times for a cleaning and some x rays complaining of tooth pain. There was a specific doctor I had seen on this particular day for tooth pain. I don't remember her name and she didn't work much longer at this dental office after this incident happened. I went in for tooth pain on this particular day. When I got to the office, they did a visual check of the area where the tooth was that was in question. I couldn't pin point exactly which tooth but had an idea. It turns out, I was correct on which tooth was causing the pain. The technician took an x-ray and brought me back to the room to wait for the dentist to look at my x-ray. *I didn't see the x-ray that day! The dentist didn't ask or offer me to look and I didn't think to ask. The computer was behind my head. The dentist proceeded to tell me she didn't see anything on the x-ray and saw no visible signs of decay or anything unusual. She told me to come back in 2 WEEKS if the pain persisted or didn't get better. Welp, 2 DAYS later, I woke up with serious pain and swelling of the right side of my face! The side where the tooth was in question. I scanned around the left side of my mouth with my tongue to discover something that felt like a PLUMP BLUEBERRY! Oh, of course it's Saturday and I have school all day! I called the dentist and said I needed to be seen right away and explained the situation. They saw me in 30 min with a different dentist and she informed me I had a tooth abscess and they needed to drain it immediately. It was so tender, swollen and painful they could barley numb me to drain it! It took quite awhile and a lot of pain!! I asked why the previous dentist didn't catch the start of this 2 days earlier. She said it's not always possible to see the start of an abscess. We looked at the x-ray together and quickly discovered the tooth in question was not even in the x-ray that was taken!! The technician didn't get all the way to the back of my mouth and the tooth that has the abscess wasn't included in the x-ray! Why the first dentist didn't catch this is beyond me! I was livid! I said, well there's no way to know if it could've been caught because the tooth isn't even in the x-ray. They ended up waiving the emergency fee and charged me for the draining of the abscess and a couple other things. With that being said, I was charged some other fee or a higher fee than normal for this procedure because it was an emergency visit. Insert eye roll. Oh and insurance only covered part of it because it was an emergency visit. Insert another eye roll. Anyways, I kept coming to this dental office as long as the new dentist I saw would be my dentist. I had a root canal done, maybe 2. Don't judge me. She was great, but I could not stand the receptionists and BILLING! After almost every visit, i'd receive a bill in the mail saying I owed more money even though I paid what they said I owed at my appt. Please, get it togethe
