They were FAST. appointment was early 9am so that could be part of it. Almost no waiting to be called back. The hygienist was great with kids. The dentist was nice. They were quick and talked to him the way toddlers need to be talked to. Kind and sweet. He got to pick a toothbrush (BLUEY) and stickers. This place was recommended by our regular pediatrician and I have no complaints.

Dr. Weiss and his staff are wonderful with our children. The office and waiting are all kid-friendly with toys, video games, musical instruments, and much more - even a lovely therapy dog (a couple days of the week)! Dr. Weiss and his staff provide our children with comprehensive, state of the art care during their visits. They are all very knowledgable and helpful. We highly recommend him!

I was a patient at this office before it was purchased by WNY Dental. After the transition, I…read morereceived several emails encouraging me to schedule appointments with the new practice. However, when I later tried to obtain my dental records, I was told they had already been deleted from their system. These were my personal medical records, and I was never notified that they would be removed or given the opportunity to receive a copy. It has been less than five years since I was a patient there. At a minimum, patients should be notified and given the option to receive their records before they are deleted--especially when a practice changes ownership. It would have been very easy to send them by email or provide instructions on how to obtain them. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope the practice improves how it handles patient records during ownership transitions so that other patients do not lose access to their own medical information.

I show up a couple minutes early and they are right back getting scene. This is usually unheard of in a medical office. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist I highly recommend this place.

So, my daughter was very nervous and also has sensory challenges, which made a very stressful situation for her. Dr. Amy was amazing! She talked to my daughter so respectfully and lovingly. She tried to empower my daughter and give her confidence - She never once looked impatient or made my daughter feel bad about crying and being so anxious. That's not just a fantastic dentist, that's a beautiful person! Also, Dr. Amy's entire staff was wonderful. I don't know her name, but the assistant in the room was so calming, and a total Pro. Kate on the phones is a class act - never made me feel uncomfortable about asking questions and was extremely helpful. As a parent, I could not have wished for a more knowledgeable, kind and professional dentist. Also, just a great role model for my young daughter - to see a brilliant woman dentist also be so kind and compassionate. And believe me....not all "pediatric dentists" are created equal...I've gone to 2 complete duds before I found Dr. Amy. I drive from OP to E. Amherst, which on a good day is a 45 minute drive with Transit road lights and traffic. But, after seeing how skilled Dr. Amy and her team are, I would certainly drive even further.

So when I came to this new dentist (brought my mom with me just in case) to get some pain and other issues relieved, I was nervous to say the least. The consult appointment was quick and to the point! The staff took me back in little time, the doc took a look, gave me some details and descriptions of what was going on, and planned the strategy of how he would correct the issues (there were a LOT, even though I had just gone to the other dentist 5 months back), and I was on my way which I was very happy with. The second appointment came about a week later and he preformed 12 fillings on the left side ALONE! I was in and out in an hour and a half and experienced little pain during or after. The second appointment came about a week later, during this time the doc corrected 8 cavities on the right side AND pulled a molar. Again, in and out in 1.5 hours and again, no pain at all! Yesterday was the third and final appointment for now, this time I got a cleaning and fluoride treatment from another excellent member of the team there. In and out in less than 30 minutes! The only issues I'm having as I write this is a throbbing pain on the left side of my jaw but, I did get a deep cavity filled where the pain is and it will probably go away within the week. At least I know if the pain doesn't go away, the team at Williamsville family dental will be ready for me to come back and willing to get me some relief. I really want to stress to this team how much stress and pain and worry and fear they have taken out of my.. mouth? and life! I'm tearing up right now as I write, that's how much of a difference you guys have made in my life. So to you, (the patient), I would like to say, GO SEE THEM!!! My appointment time had already been changed once, which I accepted without issue. However, on the morning of the appointment, I was informed that the appointment had been canceled because they claimed I did not confirm it. The problem is that I did reply to their confirmation message on Friday morning around 11 a.m., well before the office closed that day. When I asked how my confirmation was somehow not received before closing time, the staff member refused to explain and told me it was "not my business." I found the communication unprofessional and dismissive, especially given that I had been waiting weeks for this appointment and had concerns about my tooth. I understand scheduling mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled left me very disappointed.

We weren't happy with that practice for many reasons, and Altman Dental was recommended to us by many families that we are friends with. He sees me and my husband and even my 9 year old! He LOVES Dr. Altman ( even more than his Pediatrician which says a lot!). I just came here to say that I always have a great experience with the front desk ladies, while I'm in the chair Dr. Altman is conversational and is humorous and informative and explains what's happening as he's doing it. Today the first step of my implant has started and I needed this tooth pulled. It was a great experience! I don't doubt that he will check on me later.
