Dr. Weiss and his staff are wonderful with our children. The office and waiting are all kid-friendly with toys, video games, musical instruments, and much more - even a lovely therapy dog (a couple days of the week)! Dr. Weiss and his staff provide our children with comprehensive, state of the art care during their visits. They are all very knowledgable and helpful. We highly recommend him!

Nurse Julie was outstanding with him, and he was all smiles the whole visit (and even let her polish his teeth with no trepidation!). I drive 35 minutes here from Buffalo, and it is 1,000% worth the trip. They are very responsive if you call with questions, as well. I won't take my little ones anywhere else.

They were FAST. appointment was early 9am so that could be part of it. Almost no waiting to be called back. The hygienist was great with kids. The dentist was nice. They were quick and talked to him the way toddlers need to be talked to. Kind and sweet. He got to pick a toothbrush (BLUEY) and stickers. This place was recommended by our regular pediatrician and I have no complaints.

I needed to find a new dentist for a teen. Their past dentist botched a couple of cavity fillings…read morecausing chronic pain (which they denied causing). Subsequent dentist visits told us that root canal was the best option. I was very hesitant to take them to a new dentist. This office is fantastic! So professional and kind and friendly on the phone. They made the insurance part easy and took care of the details. When my teenager got in the chair, the team who was treating them was amazing. Very thorough and intelligent. The dentist was very matter of fact and explained every detail of what the past treatments had done to cause the pain. He then told my teenager that root canals were NOT needed. He was very thorough and didn't talk down to us. We are going back soon for corrective work on the damaged fillings. I will post a new review afterwards.

Williamsville Office: I just got my immediate or temporary…read moredentures which were made excessively large, I had to go to the Sheridan Dr. office for help and even the doctor there said the overbite was 3 times larger than it should be and will need to be replaced so this will be interesting when I go back on Monday. What I really want to point out is how rude the staff is, they had called the morning of my appointment for extractions and said the doctor was not coming in that day, my husband said I had already taken the week off from work and the woman on the phone said " you're taking a whole week off for an extraction?" It was my whole mouth full of teeth being extracted. So they scheduled me in for that day with another doctor who didn't even know that all the teeth were coming out, then after I was completely numb from the infections a woman came in and said the price was adjusted and would be higher from the original quote (which I never received). This also was not the first incident with the office staff having a smart mouth, seriously I would have lost my job if I ever behaved that way, they really need to get rid of the rude women there which I'm sure has cost them customers. Depending on the outcome of my appointment on Monday I may end up going somewhere else.

So when I came to this new dentist (brought my mom with me just in case) to get some pain and other issues relieved, I was nervous to say the least. The consult appointment was quick and to the point! The staff took me back in little time, the doc took a look, gave me some details and descriptions of what was going on, and planned the strategy of how he would correct the issues (there were a LOT, even though I had just gone to the other dentist 5 months back), and I was on my way which I was very happy with. The second appointment came about a week later and he preformed 12 fillings on the left side ALONE! I was in and out in an hour and a half and experienced little pain during or after. The second appointment came about a week later, during this time the doc corrected 8 cavities on the right side AND pulled a molar. Again, in and out in 1.5 hours and again, no pain at all! Yesterday was the third and final appointment for now, this time I got a cleaning and fluoride treatment from another excellent member of the team there. In and out in less than 30 minutes! The only issues I'm having as I write this is a throbbing pain on the left side of my jaw but, I did get a deep cavity filled where the pain is and it will probably go away within the week. At least I know if the pain doesn't go away, the team at Williamsville family dental will be ready for me to come back and willing to get me some relief. I really want to stress to this team how much stress and pain and worry and fear they have taken out of my.. mouth? and life! I'm tearing up right now as I write, that's how much of a difference you guys have made in my life. So to you, (the patient), I would like to say, GO SEE THEM!!! I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office. I scheduled an appointment several…read moreweeks ago regarding a dental concern that was important to me. My appointment time had already been changed once, which I accepted without issue. However, on the morning of the appointment, I was informed that the appointment had been canceled because they claimed I did not confirm it. The problem is that I did reply to their confirmation message on Friday morning around 11 a.m., well before the office closed that day. When I asked how my confirmation was somehow not received before closing time, the staff member refused to explain and told me it was "not my business." I found the communication unprofessional and dismissive, especially given that I had been waiting weeks for this appointment and had concerns about my tooth. I understand scheduling mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled left me very disappointed.
