From the moment I made the appointment (which was easy as pie) to the moment I walked out the door, I was treated with the utmost care, concern and respect. I went in for a teeth whitening and walked out 3 shades whiter! I am so happy I did it! Before we got started, Erica explained the entire process to me so I knew what was gonna happen. It was simple and within 1 hour I was out the door! This facility is about as clean and sanitized as one could ask for and THAT is important to me. I need another root canal. :-( And I'm actually looking forward to it!! :-D Because my first root canal with Aesthetic Associates Centre was FANTASTIC!! :-D As fantastic as a root canal can be, anyway. ;-) My care team was Dr. Gonzalez and Marissa. For my first root canal, I was completely unaware of what a root canal entailed, how the procedure worked, if it would hurt, the costs, the timeline, etc. But Dr. Gonzalez and Marissa put my fears to rest, explained everything entirely clearly, and were totally reassuring and kind throughout the whole thing. And my root canal procedures were a blast!! Sure it is awkward and a bit uncomfortable anytime you have dental work. And I was sore after my first session, but they already told me to expect some soreness. But honestly I didn't have any pain through the whole root canal and capping process. I have been back in for my normal cleaning and dental check since my root canal. The dental hygienist staff is also very friendly and thorough. They've done some enamel building treatments and provided me with a special toothpaste, something no other dentist or hygienist I've had has ever offered. They really seem to go the extra mile to offer great treatment here!! Aesthetic Associate Centre is a very clean, bright facility. The parking lot is a good size, sometimes fairly full, but I've always found a spot. The desk staff is very chipper. COVID safety protocols are all in place: temperature check when you come in, socially-distanced seating in the waiting room, masks required. My second root canal is on a bottom-back molar, which isn't giving me any issues at the moment (#KnockOnALLTheWOODS!), so I am aiming for fall or winter to start that procedure. My insurance doesn't cover the full cost, so I have to budget for the expense. But Aesthetic Associates are definitely more affordable than previous quotes I had before ending up here. So once I have the funds, I CAN'T WAIT to be back under the drill!! :-D Thanks for such a fantastic, high-quality experience and to everyone I've worked with at Aesthetic Associates Center--my molar will see you soon!! read more

I have been a client here for years. Doctor Shatkins has the best bed side manner and cares about his patients. I've also had Botox and fillers by one of his PA's that hadn't turned out as I expected a few years back. So I paid a bit more and had Dr. Shatkins do some aesthetic procedures with great results. The staff member was frustrated and no longer said hello to me. It appeared she was annoyed with me. He hired a new NP who viewed him working on my funky eyebrow. From that day forward, I went with her and I've never been happier. I called today to book a series of microneedling with PRP with Traci. I was so disappointed that she is no longer working there. She was the best. I won't see anyone else in the practice but will continue to refer Dr. Shatkins for any surgical procedures, because I trust him. read more

I visited Dr. Shatkin for a second opinion after having an unresolved issue with one of my teeth. I had a great experience at the Shatkin First center from the welcoming receptionist, knowledgeable dental assist, and with Dr. Shatkin himself. The office is brand new and has the latest dental technology. Even the dental chair was so comfortable that my experience felt more like a med spa service rather than seeing the Dentist. Dr. Shatkin couldn't have been more professional. I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes in the waiting area before I was called back and all of the staff I encountered were pleasant and accommodating. As for my teeth Dr. Shatkin definitely knows what he's doing. He's conservative in practice and was able to get to the root of my problem. I would recommend him to anyone! read more

Dr Shatkin is the go to doctor for implants. There's no other dr in our area with more expertise. If you're going to spend $$ for the procedure, why not see the best!? I am a fan of Dr Todd as he is working on an ongoing problem passed to him as I requested to get out from Dr John's bandaids of sort. I am hopeful that I NOW will get the attention I need on a crown; #3 of 3 crowns. I have a follow on the 2nd crown that was permanently cemented 2 weeks ago in which was a part of the 3 crowns in a row. I did seek outside consult with the problem of which this office has the notes and images in the interim. I doubt that my discomfort will change in the meantime as this crown wasn't set in correctly from the beginning of a 12,000 worth of work which included these 3 crowns Dr John worked on. Dr Todd did my upper bridge with crowns without one single issue. Fingers crossed on this last one, dispite it all, I am hopeful read more

May be a good Dentist in peoples eyes, but I feel that some of there practices should change when it comes to dealing with elderly patients. Family members should be asked to come in with the patient to have them all on the same page with what the procedure and financing is all about. Since this procedure is costly and if financed could fall on the family for payment. And for this I am very dissatisfied with them. This happened to my 92 year old family member and was financed for 5 years. Talk about taking advantage of a senior citizen. read more

I went to this office because I was having a little twinging (not any pain just kind of a feeling) under a cap. The dentist (Dr. Lookaskee (phonetic spelling) said there was nothing wrong with that tooth but the molar behind it and a molar on the other side had a cavity. I figured because I wasn't experiencing any symptoms that the cavaliers were small so I had him fill them. BIG MISTAKE. One tooth was painful to chew on so they had me come back to shave down the filing...but "if that doesn't work you have to get a root canal". Going from no problems to a root canal??? Then with the other molar I can't floss it because the floss goes UNDER the filling and is extremely painful. Now I have to go to ANOTHER dentist so he can fix the bungled job that this office caused. During the procedure Lookaskee and his hygentist were quibbling back and forth the whole time. The dentist was extremely rough and I cried throughout the whole procedure (which in all my 66 years I've NEVER done). Absolutely the worst dental visit I've ever had...I'd give them a 0 rating if I could. Stay away from these people. I'm going to go and review them wherever I can find. read more

went in for consultation and was treated like a princess..untill I declined a 8,000 veneer quote and went with the bonding. The dentist and staff quickly became "less than professional". The dentist did a terrible job at the bonding, infact I had to go back to have it fixed and left very dissappointed as he basically refused to fix what he did. BIG thumbs down! read more
