I had a problem with inflamed areas in my mouth that my doctor and surgeon couldn't solve and Dr. Mark figured it out as a nickel allergy, replaced 2 old fillings and the inflammation was gone in a few days. He has also been managing my sleep apnea with an oral appliance instead of CPAP machine and I couldn't be more satisfied. From the time you walk in the door, every person you encounter is pleasant, kind, and professional. The hygienists are terrific and do a great job. Going to the dentist isn't on my list of fun things to do but I go with a smile on my face since I started with this practice about 8 years ago.

We weren't happy with that practice for many reasons, and Altman Dental was recommended to us by many families that we are friends with. He sees me and my husband and even my 9 year old! He LOVES Dr. Altman ( even more than his Pediatrician which says a lot!). I just came here to say that I always have a great experience with the front desk ladies, while I'm in the chair Dr. Altman is conversational and is humorous and informative and explains what's happening as he's doing it. Today the first step of my implant has started and I needed this tooth pulled. It was a great experience! I don't doubt that he will check on me later. If you are looking for a new practice, I highly recommend!!! I have even seen Dr. Gellert and he's wonderful too. So glad we switched years ago. You will be in great hands coming here! 5 star practice from when you walk in and see the staff, to cleanings and procedures with the dentist! Thank you Altman Dental! Carrie Tsakiris

When I arrived, I was asked if I was told at the time I made my appointment about the change with…read moremy insurance. I said no. She told me they no longer work with my insurance but they will still except me. The new way it works is that you pay in full up front with a discount and then I have to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. Then she said I was okay for that day, that they'll submit it because they are not fully switched over yet. But because of that, and I know it's because of that, I received the worse service ever from a dentist office. From time I sat in the chair until I got out, 10 minutes!!! It was rushed and incomplete for a cleaning. Didn't do half of what other hygienist do. When you leave a dentist , you can feel the difference in your teeth. Not me, only pain! It's been almost 4 hours now and still in pain! Also, no X-rays either! Even though I was not only a new patient, but when asked how long it's been since my last X-rays and that being at least 3 years, still no X-rays! I even told them I have pain like as if i have a cavity! Still nothing! Said I'm good and it's just recession! ‍ You can't tell me they're not worried about being reimbursed! I've never felt so rushed in my life!
