It was a molar in the back upper in my mouth. Dr Alex was apparently leaving the practice in 3 or 4 days. It was so obvious that, in his mind, he was already gone. He referred me to an oral surgeon. I was still in terrible pain. The oral surgeon's first available appointment was 5 weeks away. I complained about my experience online, so I got a phone call and WM managed to get me into the surgeon 4 days in the future. Still in terrible pain. I was in the surgeon's office for less than an hour. I do not for one moment think that the extraction couldn't have been done at my first WM appointment. Laziness is not a reason to leave a patient to suffer - no pain relief is given, nowadays... I was begging for 4 or 5 hydrocodone, but was told that was not possible. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth (I know, terrible pun). They were supposedly having the driveway sealed, and I had to park about a block away, so I had to use my rollator to get to the building entrance (even though there was no sign of any work going on in their parking lot when I went in or when I came out.) To top it off, their little "elevator" was out of order, so not only did I have to go up the steps, I had to drag the rollator up the steps with me. Ugh. I am now looking for a new dentist.

Scheduling has been difficult, and calls are often not returned. Most recently, I took time off work and pulled my daughter out of school for a scheduled filling, only to arrive and be told their computer system was down and the procedure couldn't be completed. I've also contacted the sedation office three separate times for another child and have not received a callback. Additionally, I was told the day before a previous appointment to bring a copay for nitrous oxide, despite that never being discussed when the procedure was originally explained. There have been multiple instances where their system has been down, making it difficult to coordinate care. Overall, this practice feels disorganized and poorly managed. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

Our family of 5 have been patients of Winning smiles for 17 years and we have always loved it there until recently. It is nearly impossible to get through to anyone on the new phone system, billing discrepancies have been handled with threatening letters and texts. We spent hours gathering documentation on a billing issue and the only response was a letter terminating treatment. The only verbal communication that we have had has been argumentative and has provided zero resolution. We have received texts about missed appointments a week before the actual appointments. We were billed $1000 over the amount agreed upon by our insurance, which is in network, the insurance was not billed until 2 years after the start of treatment and the claim is now expired. I waited weeks to write this review in hopes that we would have an explanation or constructive plan to move forward but we only have a letter of termination of care for our daughter and email regarding late payment of an amount that no one at Winning Smiles can explain. Disappointed and sad about such a decline in what was once a great practice.

They were FAST. appointment was early 9am so that could be part of it. Almost no waiting to be called back. The hygienist was great with kids. The dentist was nice. I called a few days later and was in for an appointment right away. So far, I have seen the same dental hygienist and dentist every appointment. They are both very nice and very honest and have even remembered details about me that i have shared with them, which makes going to the dentist more enjoyable. This location in particular has evening hours on Wednesday, which is important to me, because I do not have to take off of work to get to the dentist. They also have some weekend hours. The facility is newer and is very clean. All the tools they use are cleaned and then put into sealed packages and they open them up right in front of you so you know the tools they are using are hygienic. They also have appointment reminders set up, so you can have reminders sent to your e-mail or text messaged to you. I love this because it is easy to forget about when you are scheduling 6-months in advance for the general cleaning. If you are looking to get a new dentist or you haven't been to the dentist in a while and you want to get back to getting your teeth cleaned regularly, give this place a call and start taking care of your teeth! You won't regret it if you go to Inspire!

Both him, and his staff are wonderful and I completely trust them. I have already recommended Dr. Blake to several people and I would recommend him to everyone. One of the big things in finding a dentist is the trust factor, and he is hey dentist you can definitely trust with your mouth! Very passionate about his work, so don't be surprised if you get a little lecture like I did!
