Went to see Dr. Rumfola as a new patient. Scheduling my 1st appointment as a new patient, I only…read morehad to wait 4 or 5 days to get the time slot I wanted. Upon arriving I was warmly greeted by his receptionist Heather. My wife came along for the ride and waited out in the waiting room for me. My wife said Heather was very nice and asked her if she wanted to change the style of music in the waiting room. She also asked her how her day was what she did for her job. My wife said Heather helped pass the time. As for Dr. Rumfola and his assistant. They were both very down to earth and made every effort to make sure I was at ease and not in any discomfort. They took X Rays and did an exam of my teeth and took impressions for a partial. Note this was the 1st time I've ever had this done and it was a breeze. So now that we came up with a game plan, I await without hesitation my next appointment with Dr. Rumfola! Who knew there would come a day where I look forward to going to the dentist! 2 thumbs up for Dr. Rumfola!

I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend going here for dental work.

After a few trips to this dentist - I'm actually lowering my rating. It was great the first time,…read morebecause my previous dentist never numbed me up before cleaning and what not - and this place does that - so I was very impressed. However, over time and trips - it's not a 5 star - it's still great, but the hygienists always seem to tick me off. I'm not a child - even though I like to be numb a bit, but please don't continue to harass me about my dental care - I floss, I brush, I water-pick, and I use mouthwash - and I haven't had a cavity since I was a kid - so leave your talk to the kids!

When I declined (because of an on-going problem with Squamish skin carcinoma) the x-rays she told me that the ADA insists on x-rays every three years and that I could leave and reschedule when I was more inclined to accept x-rays. I felt like I had no choice! After I got home I did a search and found that the ADA does NOT insist on x-rays every three years, in fact they state that "one size does not fit all-and that other factors should be considered". The Hygienist's statements were very misleading and totally inaccurate! I'm hoping she gets the remedial training she needs to interact with her patients more accurately and refrains from making things up to meet whatever goals that may be set for her.

We weren't happy with that practice for many reasons, and Altman Dental was recommended to us by many families that we are friends with. He sees me and my husband and even my 9 year old! He LOVES Dr. Altman ( even more than his Pediatrician which says a lot!). I just came here to say that I always have a great experience with the front desk ladies, while I'm in the chair Dr. Altman is conversational and is humorous and informative and explains what's happening as he's doing it. Today the first step of my implant has started and I needed this tooth pulled. It was a great experience! I don't doubt that he will check on me later. If you are looking for a new practice, I highly recommend!!! I have even seen Dr. Gellert and he's wonderful too. So glad we switched years ago.
