Additionally, they have a small computer lab onsite where folks can print resumes, check email, make calls to employers, etc. This place is staffed by wonderful people with a sense of mission, purpose and faith that when given the chance, those who have fallen on hard times can and will better their lives. Aimhire found me a temporary position, which I accepted, with the understanding that the position was nearby and would last approximately 3 months or more. Not only was the position an hour away, but it only lasted 6 days. When I discussed the issue with the recruiter she didn't seem to care, she just responded saying that now I had something to put on my resume. How do you put a job where you spent 6 days on a resume??? Additionally, I had to significantly cut back on hours at my other job to take this opportunity. I was not able to get all of my shifts back after my temp job was over. Through this process Aimhire cost me both time and money; I would never recommend this agency to anyone. My word of advice to anyone who uses this company, be careful and have a backup plan! Aimhire will do what it takes to staff a position but at the cost of its employees.
