A good mechanic is like a good doctor. You might not agree with everything they say all the time,…read morebut if you have a truly good one - you trust their opinions, and usually they end up right and you end up happy. Such is the case with Xtreme Car Care, George, and his team. I have been coming here for years and trust George implicitly with all things vehicular. George has been with me through five of my own cars and five of my family's. He has done brake (pads and rotors), clutch, full transmission, winter-wheel changeover, tire mount, ball bearing replacement, radiator replacement, alignments, inspections, fixed electrical problems, and all the other minutia of car ownership. Not one mistake. George will tell you what you need, how much it will cost, how long it will take, and give it to you straight every time. It's a small business with only a few guys working on the cars, so you may need to wait a little longer than another shop, but it's a 3-bay garage so they move fast enough and the wait is worth it. If you need anything done to your car, come to George. I can't recommend him enough!

Reliable place with great service! I first went to DiBacco's last year when I needed a car…read moreinspection and I returned again because I loved their service! First off: for car inspections it is first come first serve. The minute they open, anyone can come in for a car inspection. I think this is a good and bad thing. Good thing if you can get in their early but bad if you want to be in and out. Second, the space itself is VERY tight. Last year when I went they had a gas station which made things difficult when bringing your car for appointments. They have now gotten rid of that which is great! This leaves more room for cars when they ask you to leave them. I will say, today I was in an weird scenario where I arrived to have them check something about my tail light (they were very kind and just looked at it to verify it was working but, that is a different story though lol) and I was ready to leave after being told it was fine. Unfortunately, my car was trapped between the cars that were parked in front of me and the cars parked behind their garage. There was literally no room for me to move my car. Luckily I still needed to get my car inspected (I was planning on leaving and coming back) so I just told them I'll leave my car here and I walked back home. I'm fortunate to live close enough to do this but if you live any farther I'm sure this would have been annoying. Outside of the space issues, their staff is friendly and their services are a great value. They are quick and communicative. Highly recommend going here! Tip: if you need someone to drive you here to pick up your car, just drop them off at the CVS which is next door to DiBacco's. This makes everything 10 times easier

Because I work in Boston or New Hampshire (two jobs) I need to get the spare off and the flat fixed as soon as possible. Staff are straight shooters, if it's a busy day they give realistic times (which helps me plan my day) or if the job can't be done that day (which is rare) they are honest and I can look elsewhere. This occurred once in my 14 years of living in Peabody and seeking service from Century Tire. The shop is otherwise accommodating and will work with you.
