Big bucks and a week later they were warped. Had not been done properly. They re-did the front brakes but improperly. My new mechanic said basically the brakes were on all the time. The lines were too tight! Had it fixed elsewhere and never, ever going back! Use extreme caution when dealing with this place. Used to be good but now it's a horror show. Be warned.

I already have them on rims, so it should have been a simple half hour job tops. I arrived on time, and there were 3 people in line in front of me. I could overhear that at least 2 of them didn't have an appointment. I began thinking how smart I was that I made one... that is until I realized that making an appointment means absolutely NOTHING! I waited 2 hours for my car to be done. They didn't even bring my car into the garage for an hour! It just sat there in the parking lot while they serviced the other cars that were in line before me. Finally when I was told my car was done, I told the service rep that I was frustrated that it took so long, especially since I called ahead to reserve a time. I was told that the appointment system just puts me as the next in the queue. So basically if there were other cars already in line, I would be the next one. Not sure how that differs from a first come first system... oh, yeah, it doesn't. The CSR then told me that they were sorry but I had a complaint I should contact their service line. What a frustrating experience and a complete waste of my time. I guess they don't call it Crappy Tire for nothing.

However since we are a family of 3 (which includes a two year old who doesn't eat much lol) we find we can't get through many of the fresh produce or food options unless we share with extended family. On our most recent visit, we tried the hot dog, pizza and poutine. I was surprised at how decent the poutine was, only wished the gravy melted the cheese curds a liiiiiitle more. It was the closest one to me. I normally like standalone drugstores. I don't spend as much. Get me visiting a mall and I'm bound to shop. It happened here, but I contained my shopping madness down to this mall wing with SDM and the food court above it. It's a decent mall. It has Pearl, a Chinese dim sum restaurant that I like. I typically go to the one at Bayview Village. It was nice to see one west of Mississauga. The dining room looked gorgeous as I walked over to the mall entrance. The SDM is steps away from the main mall entrance, which I appreciated. I got what I was looking for and more. This same wing of the mall had Claire's. I ended up getting Squishmallows and a Grogu bucket hat. It was nice finally visiting the LL Bean store. I love the products, but there are rarely any sales that make me want to buy anything. The mall ceilings are nice. There's lot of glass that allow natural light to shine in. It's cool and cheerful. There are also various decor accents, such as triangular lighting and dangling spiral installations, that are pleasing to the eye as you walk around. The food court is cool. There was a bee installation where you could read up on how wonderful bees are. I didn't end up dining at the food court. However, there was a sushi clearance at the end of the night at Sushi Mac. I couldn't resist and bought some sushi to bring back to my hotel room. There is a Kernels-Yogen Fruz store on the main floor. I dropped by to get popcorn at Kernels before leaving the mall. Popcorn is my weakness. I got two bags to feed by popcorn habit. I was only in one wing of this mall and enjoyed being there. I would likely be broke if I had walked the entire mall that evening. Winners stores have brand name clothing, footwear, bedding, furniture, fine jewellery, beauty products, and housewares. The consumer target market is drop-in customers as you can't shop on-line (...which is currently the case). On any given week they can stock a product you may never see stocked again. Other Winners stores may not have the same product on hand. If you like it, then I suggest you buy as you can always return it if you change your mind. I just poked my head into this Westdale Mall location in Mississauga. Will come back for a more detailed look another time.

It may not be the biggest location, but you can find some interesting items if you look hard enough. I found some $4 DVD giftsets for Spider-Man 3 (not a movie I would admit to enjoying, but it has its moments) and a better selection of cheap books than some other locations. The service is typically friendly, and I was in and out in no time. This location is likely less well-known than a lot of other Dollarama locations, as it's tucked into the corner of the mall and can be easy to miss while driving by. Still, the selection is surprisingly rich for a comparatively-smaller branch, and the experience in general is usually solid. It's the best dollar store in Clarkson by a country mile. Worth a visit if you need something quick.

However, what's annoyed me is that since their renovations last year, they now have 3 floors and men's clothes are on both the 2nd and 3rd floor so you have to search both floors before you find a good deal. It's a bit of a pain in the butt, but I understand from a business perspective why they are doing it (give customers exposure to other areas of the store and take advantage of impulse buyers). Verdict: I still think The Bay is one of the better places for reasonably priced, quality men's business clothes. I just don't like the 3 floors here.
