Sometimes I find exactly what I want; other times, I can't find anything suitable. Despite the name of the store, the prices here aren't what you'd think of as "outlet low". They're pretty much similar to local shoe stores. But if you check the local newspaper, you'll probably see coupons for $5 or $10 off, and they sometimes have sales ("buy one get the second pair for half off"). Personally, I go for the Birkenstocks. The store carries a decent range of Birks, though the sizes are often hit-and-miss. The Factory Shoe Outlet's strength is in the selection - it's nice to have such a variety of popular brands and styles all in one location. And the staff is quite helpful. Though I may not always find what I'm looking for, often while I look for one particular item, I'll find another new brand to try. Finally, it's just fun to browse the aisles, so I'll likely continue to check the Factory Shoe Outlet regularly in hopes of finding a great Birkenstock on sale.

I brought in a pair of boots that I had contacted customer service regarding a refund. The customer service rep informed me that he had put a note on my file and that I can just bring the item to the store and get my refund. Ingrid did not even try to help even though I explained what happened. Not only that, but she would interrupt me every time I was trying to explain what I was told by customer service. She didn't even offer to call customer service and speak to them; I had to do that and return with "proof" of the refund authorization. She didn't even come to the front to apologize or speak to me, was hiding in the back. How did she even get to be a manager, her communications and professionalism are horrible.

I couldn't understand why as the box stated the same size as all my others a size 6 regular fit. I sent them back and was told they wouldn't refund me as they were worn outside... it's Alberta winter with mud and snow. They shoes are still Snow White... Upon looking it appears they sent me either a man's shoe or a wide. And are unwilling to assist in the matter. Don't trust your getting your shoes the way you ordered them.

Low rating reason two,slightly below shoulder blond lady who was rude when asked a question as her customer tried out their shoes by walking the store.While her colleague was off finding shoes,was it such an imposition to respond to a question from another customer?
