It was on sale 10 to 20% off the regular price. I bought the space saver 6 cups water filter for $21. The return policy isn't the best at Canadian tire. I opened it and there was a defect and I can't bring it back. Canadian tire has a policy about not taking any opened items back. So I had to deal with the manufacturer now. oh well. The manufacturer was willing to replace it. The store is located on the second floor, above Urban Fare. The store isn't super big. But it has a really big selections of small appliances and household items.

My fiancé was pulling our car right up in front so we could unload our bags (we had a lot) into it. The security officer at the front door told me I couldn't go two meters outside to unload my cart. The women who happen to be working were empathetic, efficient, honest and so helpful! Further, when filing my claim with the airline i needed a copy of the receipt. I called 2 weeks after the wedding and Roxanne was supremely helpful in finding a way to pull the receipt up from the records. Everyone went above and beyond and i got a new outfit i will wear many more times! I highly recommend Marshalls and this one in particular!

But recently I walked by and saw a really nice party dress...perfect for the holiday season. I was in a rush though so I noted the dress and came back about a week later on a weekend. The dress was no longer on display but I found it easily enough on the rack. They had a few sizes left and thankfully one that looked like it would fit. No sooner did I have the dress in hand, did a sales woman offer to start a fitting room for me. A little pushy but after that she didn't bother me so I can't complain. I quickly glanced around the store. There was a lot going on and most of the styles I saw weren't my thing. I think they cater to a slightly older crowd (late 40's/50's +) (they did have a cruise wear section). They also have stuff that I'd consider to be a little more whimsical/unique in design which isn't my personal preference but I could picture some women I know who would love the clothes there. The dress fit perfectly (yay for in-change-room mirrors) and I made the purchase...at just a little over $100 it was a good deal on a party dress in my opinion. I'd recommend shopping at this store on the weekends as it always looks a bit busy during weekdays. Also, during the week they have live mannequins stationed at the door. Poor customer service. The website has the store closing at…read more8pm on Thursdays. In the last 2 weeks, I showed up on 2 separate occasions once at 6:15 and today at 5:45 both times store closed. Today (very upset) because the lights were on, 2 ladies working in the store and the doors were locked. I knocked and the moment the saw me, they went to the back room. I was trying to make an exchange which will now become a return and I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.
