It's very hard to give a good review when the day the trailer is delivered, you can't lock it and now one week after delivery, the refrigerator wont go below 50 degrees and we had to throw out groceries. An excusable lack of integrity like nothing I've ever seen before as both an entrepreneur and a patron of businesses. I'm speaking both to our experience with purchasing an RV (a brand new Winnebago micro mini right off the lot) as well as our experience with giant RV service in Murrieta. There is enough space here to detail all the specific things that would reveal the service is subpar and if anything, they straight lie to you write down to saying they'll call you back with an update and they just don't. Specifically to the minor repairs that we had needed after our first shakeout trip (All covered under warranty), only 2 of the four things were fixed. I do not know how naive I was to drive off the lot thinking that they were all fixed. Outlets not working, drawer under the stove fell off for which they told me they replaced the hardware only to find staples used again. Just absolutely inexcusable level of service. I'm 52 and I've been around a few blocks. Generally speaking I am a praise reporting human and if you look at my account you will see that there are far more five stars than there ever are complaints with a one star. We bought 26 ft trailer in August 25. Has some problems, still under warranty. We met Matt Eck and explained the problems. Very courteous, professional and friendly. Picked up today Saturday January 10. Most of the work was done but still needed a few things to be looked at. He recommended some upgrades that would be beneficial to the trailer. What a waste of time! Purchased a toy hauler from giant in 2018. Stopped in to look at some RVs at about 4pm, the sales man seemed incredibly bothered that we came in the door. They close at 6pm? We spent about 10 mins looking while the salesman took off in his cart. When he came back around he said they are closing up. He spent .4 seconds answering questions and totally blew us off. Horrible Experience...Purchased an RV on 04/22/26 and drove it home to Yuma Aprox 3 hr Rd trip. We get home and the side panel detached at one of the seams. The panel crinkled up and separated, wood and insulation are exposed .I reported this to the dealer as soon as we noticed what happened. I have emailed, test called 16 times and no one has had the courtesy to return my call or respond to my emails. We had to cancel our first camping trip with our grandkids because the panel could fly off. I then get a call from Rick one of the sales men telling me it should be okay to use the trailer, knowing the panel is loose and ran the risk of completely detaching, which could possibly cause an accident. on 05/28 I Spoke to Allen a coordinator because he was the only one available, he instructed me "go to the trailer, find manual and call manufacturer, they will tell you what to do" I go to the trailer and look for the manual, which was nowhere to be found, I call back and Allen tell me we most likely don't have one in there after I sped 30 minutes like an idiot looking for one. Allen told me there might be a QR code and ended emailing me a copy of manual. Today I reach out to manufacturer so they can direct me as to where I can take trailer repair an they are unable to help me because the trailer has not been registered yet. I call Giant RV and told them what happened, I am still waiting for a call back or a response from someone. We are in monsoon season, I had to spend almost 300 for a cover to avoid further damage. I am utterly disgusted with their customer service as well as Heartland. No response or acknowledgment of my email in spite I asked if they would please confirm. It is no wonder Giant RV only has 3.5 stars. Oh and not to mention JOHN who swears on great customer service. Last time I called today receptionist was going to transfer me to him because he was just there a second ago. I think he saw caller ID and ran to avoid speaking to me. I so much regret stepping foot in that dealer. It is 05/28/26 and I still have a falling apart trailer in my back yard and no response from absolutely anyone!!! read more

Purchased a Coachman 2024 RV from Giant RV last year. We right away discovered that the final inspection had not been complete before we left the lot. Once we got home, discovered there were several electrical issues. Took it to the Giant RV service center and we're unable to get our RV back in time for a Trip we had planned. They insisted they needed to insure it was under warranty. Once we did get it back 2 months later. It seems there were still some issues yet to be taken care of. Had to go back into the shop and another month went by before we got it back. We have since moved back east with a much mute efficient group of service centers. 09/09/2024 I picked up my RV From Service department on Friday 09/06/2024. They completely IGNORED the water heater issue so now im having it towed to Camping World in kearny Mesa for the necessary repairs. Aliece G. is a liar and a fraud! Posting on here like they are addressing customer concerns when I have email history and service records to prove his statement of me not making a service appointment is an outright LIE! BUYER BEWARE These people are con artist and they will try to use "bait & switch" sales tactics. It started with a targeted ad on Facebook for a place known as "camping world" that is not affiliated with giant RV. While browsing the stock of camping world, I somehow clicked on a link that rerouted me to the giant RV superstore in Murrieta. We found a cute little Coleman camper. That was perfect for our needs. It was the smallest and cheapest one on the lot and after driving there to go look at it we saw it up close and it had some minor cosmetic defects being used trailer after a lengthy discussion about our financial situation and our purchase power, our sales associate, Roger comes back with "wonderful news". The Good News is that the financing is too hard to get approved on the Coleman trailer that we wanted originally but they coincidentally got us approved for financing on a trailer that was two times as expensive as the one we had originally been shopping for. While touring us around in this beautiful, immaculately, clean brand new travel trailer my mother fell in love with it and said "this is the one". I held up the suggested real tail price which is the second picture in my review advertising it just under $23,000. As you can see after they "worked their magic" financing department with Leslie we got screwed for another $12,000. BUYER BEWARE! Furthermore in response to the owners response to my review I feel it necessary to state for the record that the paperwork he referred to was not even given to me until AFTER the RV was hooked up to my truck and removed from the lot. Also my breaks are malfunctioning after they did break work on my truck and I now have to file a small claim. DO NOT SHOP HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT 100% Additionally the hot water heater failed after months, there was a hole in the floor when we picked it up (probably sabotage but that is mere speculation) UPDATE upon reviewing the install check list i noted that solar has been checked off however it was never installed. additionally the CO2 detector was checked off but not installed. these people are THIEVES! absolute criminals that will keep parts meant to be installed upon delivery to the lot and then charge customers for them à la cart to drive up the price and make even more money. Purchased a travel trailer from the Murrieta location in mid-Feb 24'. A blueox weight distribution hitch was included in the deal and set up by the dealer. Coming back from our second camping trip this past weekend, I noticed a lot of play at the tongue of the trailer. When I unhitched the trailer, the ball was completely loose. Turns out the dealer installed a ball with the incorrect shank diameter that was not compatible with the hitch (dealer installed a 1" diameter shank, whereas they should have used a 1-1/4" diameter). No hitch ball bushing was used to make the 1" shank compatible with the 1-1/4" hole. They also cross threaded the nut on the shank (likely because they used an impact gun, which is not best practice). Neither of these things are obvious unless you remove the ball from the hitch. Nevertheless, one (or both) of these mistakes resulted in there being play in the ball connection to the hitch which ultimately caused the nut to partially back off the shank (after two camping trips). This is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Forgetting the financial implications, it's scary to think what could have happened to my family (wife and unborn child) if the nut completely backed off and the trailer detached from my truck. As a DIY guy who has owned boats, other trailers, etc., I'm honestly really upset at myself for trusting this dealership's work. I will never make that mistake again. I purchased a new ball with the correct 1-1/4" shank diameter and now need to purchase a 3/4" drive and large socket set to install it correctly. Total cost will be around $150. Giant RV should reimburse me for these costs. Frankly, I should also be reimbursed somehow for my time to correct this unacceptable mistake. Imagine the potential negligence lawsuit that was waiting to happen. I've attached pics as support for the above. Note, in the pictures of the shanks in the hitch, I put the balls in backwards so it is easy to see the shank in relation to the hitch hole size. This shows you how blatant the error was. read more

We purchased our 3rd RV from Giant RV Murrieta. With our first 2 buying experiences we were pleased, we have not had good luck with the service department but nothing has compared to this experience. We bought our new 5Th wheel with pickup set for Nov 23, 2024. They had over 2 weeks to prep the trailer. We arrived to a RV that had not been cleaned, multiple items missing and broken, ending with a 3 page due bill. Now we are mid March 2025 still awaiting our due bill to be fulfilled. I just left another voicemail for John the service manager for follow up. The lack of competency, communication, and professionalism is beyond acceptable. I found out just last month they hadn't even ordered parts to complete the due bill and I had to get them the information needed to even get that process rolling which I had called on multiple times before. John stated to me "I'm not saying this is your fault", I cleared replied this is not my fault. Giant RV created a due bill that you should have to fulfill. It is not my fault you did not get that, your team did not order my parts or research in anyway what was needed on any of my previous calls, this is not my fault you're right. When I got them what was needed I was told all parts would be in around one week, here we are still me having to try to call them for follow up. Yesterday I asked for John to leave me a VM as to the status when he was back because I would be back to work from my lunch break, he called and left me a voicemail to call him back. Sorry for the low review. I purchased a new RV with Murrieta Giant RV and also bought an Extended Warranty for an extra 60 months. I found out that my extended warranty was sold under false pretense that it started the day of purchase. So in other words I paid for the 1 year manufacture warranty. It really only extended for 48 mo. after manufacture warranty. This dealer sells these extended warranty's knowing the warranty is not really for the extra months you pay for. My advice is to not buy any Extended Warranty until your original Manufacturers warranty is ready to expire.
