The store is pretty clean and organized. Lines weren't too long. We stopped by to get some last minute Thanksgiving things and everything we were looking for is in stock and have plenty. The only thing about this place is their parking is street parking. They have garage parking too but it's on the side. read more

I only wish they were more competitive priced. With that being said, glad this is in the neighborhood. It provides some competition for the "Soviet Safeway." What a upgrade this and Scout at the Circle are, over the previously dilapidated shopping center. This being a new location is clean, modern, and has a shine to it. I will say the employees here are very helpful. They have an extensive beer and wine selection. Please don't drink and drive. Also their produce is fresh. Occasionally I'll get their cinnamon rolls for breakfast. These are in the bakery section, and while expensive, are quite delicious. The treadmill gets used after this. I like the location. It's definitely a nice place to grocery shop. read more

New Giant by Fairfax circle. Easiest to access heading westbound 50 or southbound Blake lane. The free parking garage is across from the Giant. Very large and clean. Has more selection than the other Giants off of Braddock. Price seems a tad more, but maybe it's a pandemic thing. The Starbucks area is large with seating. For now attendents frequently are taking carts from the garage. Great option for those that live by, might not make it my regular grocery store since there are a few closer. Would like to see what else eventually opens in the complex. read more

6/7/21 Coming here is very convenient. Many times we have found what is needed at this store while other Giant Food stores do not have what we are looking for. Today my wife wanted Turkey Hill Natural Salted Caramel Ice Cream. Many times the store near my house doesn't carry it anymore. This store had it all. The sparkling water will be a nice touch for our dessert tonight. We also saw a number of people going without masks now. This is a good thing if the people we saw are fully vaccinated. However, one never knows do one. Oh yeah, we also saw a number of dead cicadas upon arriving and leaving. Their time is almost up. Such a shame. read more

I only started coming to this giant since its near F45 but the staff at this location are super friendly and the store is always clean and stocked. I especially love the sushi corner. The two employees who make the sushi were very accommodating to my request for no avocado due to food allergies but they still made sure the other toppings were ok. I know a grocery store is not the ideal spot for sushi but this is my 2nd time going and highly recommend it. I have to remember to come on a Wednesday since I saw they have sushi specials. read more

A promising new grocery store for Fairfax! Well-organized and many modifications are in place for social distancing, including dedicated one way lanes, masks required, spots on the floor to indicate 6 feet and plenty of hand sanitizer. The parking garage is a little awkward to get to. For now, if you are coming from the west on 50, you have to make a U-turn to get into the parking garage. I think this will change since it's still under construction. There were lots of open parking spots on the garage, and it's very close to the Giant entrance. Right now they are doing $10 of $50 for their grand opening week and they handed out coupons when you walked in. There are many hallmarks of a "bougie" grocery store here, including a Starbucks inside, a fresh fruit counter, a sushi counter (that actually looked good), a fun beer section, and many fresh baked/prepared foods. I awkwardly spilled most of a container of blueberries and one of the cashiers was mercifully jokey about it as I attempted to fix the situation. All of the workers seemed upbeat and willing to help. One younger guy working there seemed very concerned that I couldn't find my almond croissants which was very sweet. I assured him I would be okay with chocolate...more than okay! I will be back for sure. It's nice to not be living in a food desert anymore! read more

I have work in giant. Horrible job hiring. I didn't even get enough training , only had trading for 1 week and I was supposed take a test but they never informed me for the test , my co worker has told I'm supposed take a test and nothing happend. Everyone just talking about you for no reason and plus they push you to close the deli. I had very lazy co workers , they barely wanna clean, they made clean everything since it was all dirty in the front , all that for 12.50 a hour oh sheesh... and it's very nasty inside I had token pictures, at the dishwasher is very unsanitizer. Click on the giant pictures and scroll on all way down and you will see the nasty things are left in the kitchen and still serve people. Disgusting... read more

I can't believe I'm the first to write a review since this Giant has already been open for a week. It's new and shiny and it's HUGE. I'm used to the older traditional Giants with low ceilings and cramped aisles. The ceilings here are huge (like a warehouse) and there are soooo many aisles. I got a bit overwhelmed walking by the boxes and boxes of cereal, for example. They have a ton of canned fruit options, even canned mango and canned lychees. The prices are pretty standard for traditional grocery stores, but they've got a lot of promotions going on right now since this is the grand opening. I went on a Thursday morning and I only saw one or two customers, so there's no problem social distancing. There were also a ton of employees (wiping down carts, waiting to ring up customers), so you won't need to worry about waiting in line to check out. read more

This location is super convenient to my derm/medspa off of Prosperity Ave, so I stopped in for a quick trip on my way home. I don't love the Giant brand for a couple of reasons (my brother used to work for them before moving out west), so I haven't shopped with them in awhile. Many of the Giants I've been to are dimly lit, a faint wash of yellow/brown that is familar to the brand. This location is modern and upgraded, a huge step up compared to the older ones in the area. Items are well stocked and the store layout just made sense. Bravo! read more

I'll get to my star rating selection in a minute, this store itself is fantastic. One of the few Giants with a fully functioning Hot and Cold Bar. What's taking so long for the other locations to hop on board??? Aisles are cleaned and always fully stocked. And know, .....The Staff... Customer service Mgr gave me attitude when I asked him for change, and requested a refund on an overcharge. Cashiers have no idea where things are when you asked them. read more

When we got to self checkout, a worker (i couldn't see his name) almost ran to where we were just looking if we was going to steal? STEAL WHAT?? the cabbage??? Nice shiny store but something is rotting inside - walked in and accosted by numerous cookies display before I could get to the veggies, then I noticed beyond the aisles of snacks including some kind of cookie thing you microwave in a mug, there were cookies and candies at the end of most aisles not to mention the candy bar display in the middle of the orange juice and yogurt aisle. I feel like Giant is owned now by the White Witch from the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe extracting cash for Turkish delight with no respect for anyones health. This is not a grocery store it is a candy store. Shame on you, Giant. read more

Shopping at their Deli is an ongoing nightmare. They seem to have several employees working in the area, but only ONE actually helping customers. It takes forever in line to get service. The sole employee doesn't seem to understand English through a mask. At checkout, I have been overcharged twice. Once I weighed my produce and had a label on redskin potatoes. Checker ignored the label and charged me for plums at over twice the price. The place needs improvement. read more

Curious to see the new Giant, went to visit and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. I noticed they have more selection than my go to giant (Oakton) and everything just look so neat. Employees were helpful and nice. Parking has plenty of space and covered. read more

Very pleasantly surprised! This store is huge and clean, as to be expected, since it's brand new. The parking is in a covered garage, and there is always ample spaces. They have a really decent produce section. This place is closer than my normal go-to, WholeFoods on Maple, so this may be my new grocery store if the produce continues to be good. read more

Opened this past weekend. Clean, big, covered parking, and good prices. Would be nice if they had Hawaiian style Poke bowls.
