This is my go to store. Despite the horrible garage parking. And zero cell service. This week however I experience a bad dessert infront of my guests and they told me I should bring it back. Wegman's has been a game-changer for us and so conveniently located across the street - we stop by every other day! Love their fresh baked goods, produce, hot bar, and healthy prepared foods with more vegan options. They also have these $2 snack packs, which comes in handy with the kids. This Wegmans is much smaller and more compact with a neighborhood vibe rather than the traditional larger store (there's a small bar area and food court). Wegmans has really expanded their vegan and vegetarian prepared food options this year - the juicy Eggplant Parm is delicious! It has become my weekly staple! While the Butter Paneer is quite sweet, I appreciate the diversity of ethnic foods. The Veggie Lasagna is a bit soggy. The Vegan Cobb Salad, Kale Mushroom Tofu Salad, Kung Pao Tofu Bowl, and Vegan Sushi are quite good! The new Truffle Veggies and Portobello Mushroom Pizzas in prepackaged food trays are perfect for roasting veggies, you just throw the tray in the oven! The food court has a few stations - sandwiches, pizza, and burgers and closes around 8pm (salad and poke bowls were discontinued). The veggie burger is quite good, as well as the classic fries and sweet potato fries. The Truffle Mushroom Pizza is delicious! There's an Asian hot bar with Chinese food and a wing station. The crispy tofu in spicy soy sauce is delicious! There's also a bar with pretty good drinks, the Lycheetini was delicious! Wegman's has the best grocery store bakery with super adorable sugar cookies, seasonal caramel apple cake and pumpkin cakes are delicious, other favorites include oegy gooey chocolate chip cookies, Oreo cheesecake, peanut butter cheesecake, summer fruit tarts, chocolate covered strawberry, and moist strawberry shortcake. The seasonal maple donut, strawberry and blueberry cobbler donuts are delicious. The fluffy croissants and Jalapeno Cheddar bagels are quite tasty too! While the baked goods are generally pretty fresh, they are made every other day Including some of the cookies. Free parking without validation up to 2 hours now. Love Wegman's! The layout is odd I this location & it is probably the smallest one in the area & you will not find everything you are looking for but still lots of good Weg finds. We came, we saw, we conquered, lol. Got some lovely salmon for tonight and some fresh veggies. Also got salad, fruit, fresh salsa, charcutière meat, cheese, bread, kefir, & dessert. The damage was done lol. The parking lot is a bit of a pain & I almost got run over by some bunghole & happens every time in this awkward lot. Still... love Wegman's! Thank you Tyson's Corner Wegman's for the baker after my own heart who ALWAYS ensures there are Chocolate Chip Cookie sandwiches with Chocolate butter cream frosting inside. These are the best cookies out there! Now, while I'm a Wegman's loyalist through and through there are 2 things: · Can you please stop selling live lobsters? It makes me sad to walk by them in the tank. I even started to cry once and that is sad too! In these modern times, aren't even the bougie/foodies against live lobsters now? · Can you PLEASE make a powered sugar doughnut that is CHOCOLATE buttercream filled? I see many filled doughnuts, I see many doughnuts of the month, I see VANILLA buttercream filled doughnuts, yet I NEVER see one that will take me back to the days when Dunkin' had their Chocolate Crème filled doughnut. That said: well before you ever get up the elevator, please be aware if you're piloting a FSSUV yourself. The journey to your parking spot is tight and a little circuitous. Like to me, it feels like a subsurface cart path. My city sense and city driving ability is outsized and beyond; but again if your vehicle is and you're driving skills are not - it could be a challenge to leave without a nasty scrape, ding or doink. read more

I'm here at least 4 days out of the week since I am fortunate enough to be in 3 minute driving distance. The parking is underground- not totally inconvenient but the entryway is super narrow and it's just unexpected overall. Make sure you take your ticket with you if you plan on shopping for more than 2 hours - never happened to me but some people go to the bar/restaurant in the attached building and forget that they would've gone over the limit for the total stay. The store is new so it's clean and there's ample indoor and outdoor eating areas. Their pre-packaged meals are on the pricey side - especially the sandwiches. A lousy tuna sandwich with not much to it was $10! I go for the fresh flowers and produce. Given that I'm a die-hard Wegman's fan, I'm just happy this is close enough. I'm not complaining. The self check out station is also a lot bigger than the other stores' so I love the quick in and out situationship I have with this store. read more

Upon entering the underground parking facility, the lanes are really narrow, so be careful. Secondly, there's plenty of underground parking very well, lit, and somewhat temperature controlled. No matter what the temperature is outside. It's always warmer or cooler and the parking spaces are very large to accommodate SUV's it is very convenient on entering you take the escalator up to the second floor or the elevator. rom when the management team tells me this is an urban store, which is a little different than the suburban layouts but I really like it, it's still a great selection and the app works great for locating things. The fresh food section actually has a place where they customize your hamburgers, along with customizing your sushi! Prices are wonderful compared to other grocery store brands. The staff is extremely helpful and goes well beyond with the other grocery store staffs can accomplish. The store is very clean. The restrooms are extremely clean upon leaving the store. There is an option to take the escalator down or you can take the cart escalators which are very cool very ultra modern and so convenient. read more

This is a review of the hot breakfast offerings only! Visited recently for grocery shopping. It was early on a Saturday, so we stopped by the prepared foods section to get breakfast first. Options were pretty limited. It seemed that they often have more options (western eggs), but we were really limited to egg and cheese or sausage egg and cheese. All in all, they were ok. I am a bad cook and could probably make the same thing. I love pretty much everything else Wegman's has to offer! -- the breakfast sandwiches are just a little phoned in. Last Friday, found many mini cucumbers packages full of mold and bought red sweet potatoes that were rotten. Wegmans at Tysons has a problem with their produce not just in quality but in maintaining fresh food on the shelves as the mini-cuke example shows. They need to be what we have always thought Wegmans to be, above the other supermarkets in service and quality. They are failing, at least at Tysons, in the latter for sure and losing my business more and more. Love this Wegmans location! It's very organized and never overcrowded. I also love that they have a sitting area to eat and a burger bar (with happy hour). Yay yay yay! My new lunch spot. Who would have thought? There are two types of people in this world. Those who love grocery stores and those, like me, who are allergic to grocery stores and avoid at all costs! Hahaha. Well, this Wegman's was built right by my job so how could I resist. First things first, the parking entrance is a disaster waiting to happen. It is an extremely sharp turn with no mirrors lol and there's already a dark scrap on the wall which tells me someone has already scratched their car. Be careful when entering! It's honestly a maze. The first time I came, I had no idea what I was going to find. I headed to the lunch area where there is pizza, sushi, burgers, subs, etc. I went with 2 slices of pizza. They were pretty pricey since I could get a whole pizza for $10-$12 and I believe they were $4.99 per slice. The pizza was delicious lol so I wasn't even mad. The next time I came, I got a burger and fries from the Burger Bar and yum! It was so good. I'll definitely be back! Maybe to even grocery shop?? Doubtful haha. read more

FINALLY! We've been waiting for what feels like an eternity for this Wegmans to open. Ok....just a couple years. In terms of size, this location might be smaller than your average location, but I'm definitely not complaining about that--esp not in this area. I'm sure all the locals (including myself) are extremely stoked that they now have another grocery option besides WF (boro, falls church, vienna), HT (mclean), TJ's (falls church), etc. Free parking (up to I believe 2 hrs) with validation. Wegman's Tysons is finally open for business!! To prepare I diligently browsed the app and made a plan. For my first Wegmans meal, I decided on sushi and a mini pie. For grocery store sushi, it was exceptional albeit a bit pricey. It's only slightly less expensive than going to my favorite sushi restaurant. The bakery was a sight to behold! I was so tempted by all of the options, and really love the huge amount of desserts that you can purchase by the slice. I had heard rumors of Wegman's coming to Tyson's Corner; but did not know when or where until I received coupons for the the grand opening. i made a list on the app from the the available specials and made sure I brought coupons from the mailer I received. The parking is located underground and is tight getting in, if you have a large pickup or SUV. Once inside the garage there is lots of available, well lit parking. Make sure to validate the ticket stub before leaving the store. The store is smaller than other Wegman's I have visited, all departments are represented; but some areas may not have the variety of items you are used to seeing at a standard size Wegman's. I was able to find everything on my list; but there were definitely items I have seen at other Wegman's that were not available in this one. The meat, seafood and produce areas were well stocked as was selection of ready to cook entrees. Because this Wegman's is close to home and I have other coupons to use for Tyson's Store only, I will continue to shop here; but will still venture out to Fairfax for items not available in Tyson's Corner. read more

This Wegmans has a good collection of the usual Wegmans good things (hot foods, cheese, grocery items, beer & wine), though it is small so they do not have the level of selection that other, larger Wegmans (like the one in South Alexandria) has for a variety of these things. For example, the frozen foods section is pretty small, so don't expect to get much variety there. Also, they've been out of frozen pepperoni pizzas for weeks. I mean, weeks. That being said, the service and ambiance are both pretty good, so that helps a bit, and parking isn't terrible unless you go on a day when Capitol One Hall has a show (those can be a mess). This location is small but mighty!!! They have most of the usual fan favorites here just in a tinier space. What they lack in inventory they make up for in charm and great service. They are open 6am to midnight 7 days a week which is super convenient especially as a guest staying at a near by hotel. I am no stranger to Wegmans, what with living in Buffalo and having multiple locations near my home. I visited this Wegmans when staying down the street at the Archer Hotel (the subject of an upcoming review). What makes this Wegmans so intriguing is that it is located on the ground floor of a high rise office building. I was in walking distance and so cannot comment on he parking situation, but knowing Wegmans, I am sure it is handled well. The store seems to have plenty of room and the usual assortment of gods. I ate at the hot foods section two nights. The first night I ad a slice of pizza, which was pretty good and filling for $4. The second night I had a fried chicken sandwich, which was OK, but the skinny fries were great. Definitely worth stopping for a quick meal. I've been visiting this Wegman's since they opened in late 2020. I am glad there is a Wegman's closer to me. Overall, I like this location and parking is easy, but I wish they had more hot foods available (specifically the wing bar) after a certain time. I've gone in for dinner at 6 or 7 pm and there were only be a small amount left with little variety. I understand they probably keep this stocked earlier throughout the day for people who are working but it would be nicer to have some more options for dinner after work. Also, their Poke Bowl place doesn't seem to stay open very late. I will say their pizza place provides great service and in the past they've offered specials such as $10 large pizza. One associate let us order 4 toppings (2 on each half) and only charged us for 2 which was very nice! Overall, the produce is fresh and they provide a variety of options with easy checkout. This is the best grocery store in the DC area If you don't mind paying about a buck more than elsewhere on most items. It's a super fresh always in stock food oasis with a great cafe/bar. My biggest pain point that results in the loss of one star is seeing all the closed auto serve stations. I realize one staff person can't oversee all of them, but that is what cameras and AI can do. Making customers wait so you don't overtax staff is not cool. Management should have ALL those machines available to customers, especially as the Capital one staff returns in droves. It's a HUGE management mistake to make customers wait when machines are idle. If the owners knew this was happening they would seriously freak! read more

The grocery staff on the isles were very helpful. The shelves had missing item's; Wegmans' brand of soups. There was a long wait time of over 10 minutes. I observed and others observed a front end staff woman yelling with her loud voice at an elderly Caucasian woman who asked her to stop and lower her voice. The woman was covering her ears. The Wegmans employee seem to get louder and tried to hurry the elderly woman out. The customer asked for a manager. This was very sad to see. read more
