One of my favorite Indian grocery shopping experiences! If you know you know. In this area there are lots of stores so the competition is pretty steep. But I have a good shopping experience whenever I come here. Lots of varieties. Things are clean and well organized. I especially like when they have produce that I enjoy. That's in season. Most of the staff are very knowledgeable and even though they are Spanish will understand language and I even had one that understood my mom's Bengali LOL. The nice thing about this location is that they have the bistro where you can get really tasty food for the cheap and there is a cafe area for you to sit down and relax. Plenty of parking which is free. I usually enjoy my visits here and this one was no different. Will be back! read more

I'm with my husband helping him to do Instacart and this store has frustrated me so bad that I'm ready to go home and not do anymore orders today. We spent well over 45 minutes walking around trying to find the items that were listed. I had to pull a cashier from her register to walk us through the store to locate and scan the items. The store didn't have certain items which just added to the frustration. We've shopped in other stores like Giant, Wegmans, Safeway, Aldi, and even the 99 Store and when it boils down to it, Wegmans has it on point with the organization of items. We can see in the Instacart app which isle, section, and shelf each item is located on and it makes for speedy shopping and a satisfied customer. I Will Never and I do mean NEVER do Instacart in this store again. At least until they organize things to make it easier to find especially for people who aren't regular shoppers in that particular store. read more

My go to place for Indian groceries. It has a good variety of stuff. The staff is always helpful and has a pleasant demeanor. Beats anything out in the Ashburn area that people rave about. The eating area could use an upgrade. read more

Solid Indian grocery store for this area. Everything was very organized and easy to find and they had a pretty solid selection. You will find more out in Herndon/Ashburn etc but this is really great for being a little closer. They also have a fresh food counter with chaat, biryanis etc. read more

Our local Ashburn Asian grocery store is operating only as a take-out which means little to no selection of groceries and/or vegetables so we decided to drive 30 minutes to Fairfax to India Bazar where our family also shops. It was our first visit and we are so surprised! Located at the intersection of Route 50 and Route 29, in a large parking lot. On entering there is hand sanitizer and then it's a very clean modern grocery store with everything we needed and more. Fresh vegetables to choose from :snacks both in large barrels as well as packaged; Indian sweets refrigerated; a large selection of ice-creams; tons of spices; biscuits and other snacks; teas and coffees...basically a large supermarket. I was really happy to see gloves so bought a few. Nice there was no limit as in other stores. And a clean bathroom to use. Even if it is an hour round trip, we have found our supermarket to go to and highly recommend to others as you will see by the pictures. read more

7/17/22 After a wonderful massage, we were heading home when my wife wanted to stop by The Indian Bazaars. This store is one I have written a review on, but for whatever reason, my review was removed. Nevertheless, I will write a new review on what I saw. The Indain Bazaar is what it is named. People of Indain decent do shop here, but so do people of other ethnic groups too. This shop upon entering is very clean and well organized. I heard some employees speaking Spanish, while other associates spoke Hindu or some other dialect. It is nice to see other races working together than just one type of race. Just a thought I was thinking. *I thought I should address one serious problem for people with PEANUT Allergies. There are a lot of products here that are possibly processes in a facility with tree nuts. PLEASE READ THE BACK OF THE PACKAGES before buying if you are allergic to tree nuts. It is not only this store, but I was just made aware of this when my wife wanted to buy something and could note make out the small print.* The deli section is closed due to equipment being broken. Guess we will see what this store has to offer in this department next time. The cost of products here is fair. It is not overwhelmingly expensive. If you need assistance, head to the cashier for help. I saw few employees on the floor. The store had a faint smell of curry powder, but nothing so strong that it offends one's nose. Our cashier looked to be in her senior year of high school and was cheerful as can be. Great energy came out of this place. Oh, and the bathrooms were clean too. No short here. They bathrooms are not gender neutral, but the very well could be. Hope this helps the next Yelper who wishes to visit this store. read more

Their Gopi yogurt is a great price for the size. I will come here specifically for their yogurt. I also like to pick up their jalapeño and cheese samosas. They're only about 50 cents a piece and very delicious. Another thing I like to pick up are the Cadbury chocolates. They have a bunch that I can't seem to find at any other US stores. My favorite Cadbury bar that they sell is called Flake. They have a lot of products that are typically hard to find and so I come here from time to time to see what treasures I can discover. Big grocery store with availability of a lot of things, but staff is absolutely worthless and clueless. System for ordering chaat and other edibles is poorly organized and thought out. The place could do so much better, and could take it to another level but they fall short. Really unfortunate. Patel brothers in Ashburn is much much better! Dont come here! read more

How bizarre? This bazaar is large and it seems like they have fresh veggies and spices/ghee organized and stocked at all times. I restocked my spice pantry and spent about a solid $50 for a load of spices. I usually went to H-mart or Lotte to get some spices, but thank God I came here. If you ever want to cook tikki marsala, lamb biryani, or kubbideh, they have all the spices you need here. read more

I am furious on this place. I went to this store to get some frozen snacks (patras) when I came home heated the snacks and ate them, I felt my stomach was aching and I got a stomach infection from this one thing which I ate since morning. Since this store is close to my place so as much of a supporter of the small business in my area, I thought of again giving a try and bought their Orange candy ice cream from Vadilal for both me and my husband and guess what? Very bad service by Neelam. Charged me twice on my credit card for a box of mangoes. Refused to give me credit for one charge. Said she has to check with their Credit Card processing company. Had to go to the store twice to ask for refund of one charge, still didn't give credit. Bad owner who does not empower cashiers to give refund. There was no manager in the store to escalate. I was very disappointed on how there were no sanitizing wipes available and no one was cleaning the carts. In the midst of such a pandemic these are pretty much basic expectations at each grocery store. A place that doesn't care for their employee or customer's safety wouldn't be getting my business. read more

Finally got to try some food at this place, from the self serve area. Samosas were really spicy and had good flavor, although luke warm, did not taste that fresh, my husband also got a few Indian sweets, two of each of the two flavored pendas, and these were not so good, dry, crusty and lacking in any flavor. So while shopping, on the odd occasion, will be sticking to savory snacks in the future. read more
