    Gianni pizza is amazing

Christmas cheer. We had the most amazing lunch at Gianni's. We came in from DC and were unsure where to eat so we went to Yelp! It was on the spot accurate. the food was amazing. We got two pizza slices before our subs came. the Italian sub was hot and flavorful. the cheesesteak sub was amazing. The bread was soft and you can ask for it toasted if you'd like. The owner of the restaurant and his staff were so customer service oriented we felt like a regular / old friends welcomes for lunch. You really must try this place. We definitely will come back.

Award winning Pizza ! Cheese pull is amazing! The crust is very crunchy yet soft. The waitress has been kind and the food arrived abruptly.

Pizza is amazing! Cheese pull was indeed the best! Service was great! Wait time was great considering the area was filling with people among our arrival.

I got the Cheesesteak Deluxe. It came with everything: fried onions, mushrooms, pickles, hot and sweet peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup and mayonnaise. Yes, I knew ahead of time my cheesesteak was coming with mayonnaise. No, I did not stop him from putting mayonnaise on my cheesesteak. I will not order mayonnaise but if it comes as part of the package, who am I to argue? It had a very nice roll but I don't like it as a cheesesteak roll. I would have much rather had this roll as a chocolate croissant. It was a big roll so it needed a lot more meat in it. The cheese was noticeable but with everything else, mayonnaise, the cheese got a little lost. The extras, hot peppers and mayonnaise, added a lot of flavor.

Firstly: Gianni's is a staple of trolley square. I love their pizza, almost as much as I love the management. Their pizza is always reliably delicious and customer satisfaction is their number one goal. Brian is fantastic and is always eager to please and make sure that you leave fed and happy! Secondly: They accommodated me when I asked on a Saturday during the dinner rush hour for a special request: my friend had been broken up with, and I asked if they could write a "special message" and deliver the pizza to her. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to be sure that I liked the design and taste and even helped me brainstorm a little. As always, exceeded my expectations in taste and in character.

Half a white slice with diced tomato & broccoli. Also had the spinach version along with a pepperoni

Waiter brought me 2/3 of a cup of warm coffee and asked if I wanted milk or cream and sugar instead of bringing them over. Had to wait five minutes for my eerily specific request for a certain number of creams and Splenda. No spoon or other way to mix the cream and sugar. I couldn't find a single thing on the menu that seemed even remotely close to palatable, so I ordered an English muffin, thinking I'd be safe. Wrong. It was doughy and soaked with butter. Should I have told them to hold the butter because I was a jelly guy? Who knows. I've never felt more like leaving a zero dollar tip than I did at Greenhouse Gastropub. Skip it.

Keep going to the stop sign. When you're at the stop sign look across the street to the left and they're right there. I got lucky and found street parking right in front of their door. Walked in and they were packed. One tiny table open squashed between two others and the bar were my options so I sat at the bar. I try to pay cash at Mom & Pops place so they're not hammered by the credit card fees. They were low on change and recommending credit cards. I dug around in my pockets and found exact change. They were all out of pastries but one. I wanted to try their pasties de nada but all that was left was a croissant so I ordered it, along with their French toast and an oatmilk cappuccino. Turns out the croissant was already purchased by another patron who was going to have it after their meal. It hadn't been served yet. I received a refund. A couple showed up and sat at the bar as all the tables were full. Then someone else showed up and pointed at the seat I had my coat on saying they were told to sit there as it was the last seat open in the entire place. Packed. The French toast came out in good time but somehow my cappuccino got lost in the mix. It was immediately made and brought out. The French toast is as good as everyone says it is. Light, well filled, great flavor without being too sweet. I was trying to eat it all but had to stop 3/4 of the way as somehow it's filling. The cappuccino is also very good. I made the mistake of wanting to try them out at 11:45 on a holiday. 100% my bad. Considering there are only 3 people working the entire establishment, they did a great job. The food and drink were totally worth it and I will be back (at a less busy time)! *Quick add: I usually don't post while in the establishment but did here. Even with it being busy the owner came by to talk about the review and share a little about their business. They do evening events, private dinners. They also host guest chefs. Their goal is to elevate dishes, which is exactly what they did to the French toast. Based on this one breakfast I would definitely consider them for any function I was hosting in the area.

This is a review for Angelo's Pizza. Personally I preferred Pizzeria Bardea. I'm honestly not sure…read morewhat was going on at Angelo's. From the start, things were weird. The person taking my order didn't seem familiar with the menu, which was surprising for a place focused on something as straightforward as pizza. It took quite a while for the pizza to be assembled before making it to the oven. After ordering, I waited nearly 40 minutes, which I had buyer's remorse, considering I could have just ordered two pre-made slices and heated them up. Bardea was able to get an order in and out in like 10 minutes. Even weirder, comes the confusing part after Angelo's takes the pizza out of the oven. Twice, the pizza made it to a box, where employees stood over it, seemingly unsure of what to do. They appeared to be discussing it and even taking photos while the pizza just sat there getting cold, for several minutes. Is this an Instagram moment? I genuinely had no clue what was happening. By the time I finally received my order, the pizza was luke warm and the whole experience was frustrating. I have no interest dealing with whatever was happening here. I hope they work out the kinks of whatever the heck was going on at this place.

I haven't tried all the food stalls yet, but they're on my list. The layout has lots of seating in the center, with food on the side walls. It's like a more upscale food court. It's a good spot for lunch with colleagues or sitting alone with a book, especially on off hours. If you're looking for something a bit elevated but not super fancy, DE.CO is a great spot.

This takes me to Wilmington, the largest city in Delaware where I had the opportunity to try out "Opa Opa". Located at the Village of Trolley Square strip mall and adjacent to Delaware Ave & N. Clayton St., this place has been serving up delicious Greek food dating back to 2015. I came here with my lady during the afternoon of Friday 10/10/2025 at around 2:45pm. The interior is bright, spacious, ample room for dining in, and pays homage to the blue and white Greek colors. Additionally, there are several art pieces that represent some of the more popular Greek destinations. Sodas, water, and other various beverages are available in a refrigerator across from the register/counter area. Since I was very hungry (and on my way north to Philadelphia), I decided to go with something that will carry me through the rest of the afternoon. I finally decided on their "Chicken Gyro Platter" w/fries. My lady went with their "Grilled Chicken Greek Salad". We didn't get any drinks as our waters is all we needed to enjoy our lunch. Both of our meals are ready in just under 7 minutes while everything is presented to us in a quick and timely manner. I do have to say that if you're starving, this is the place to come! My gyro was a very generous portion that offered huge chucks of seasoned chicken. In fact, the chicken to veggie ratio was 2:1 as they did not skimp on the protein. My pita bread that encased this was warm and made each bite very savory. The fries were also made well; crispy yet soft on the inside. And as you can see from the photo, the salad that my lady got was also huge. As I mentioned, come hungry and you will leave very full. All in all, "Opa Opa" was a very pleasant surprise as Wilmington offers a lot of ethnic food in all directions. This place also offers very generous hours as they are opened for business Monday through Saturday from 10:30am-10:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am-9:00pm. With above average customer service, a spacious inside dining area, reasonable prices, and generous food portions, this place earns a perfect five-star rating from me.
