Feel terrible to give such nice people a bad review, but at rhetorical prices charged here, the colorist who was amazing (Dylan) as well as many previous employees. Thus you will - whether you emetic or not, have the owner of salon working in your hair. She will try to sell you as many treatments possible, as happened by first visit. She did a great job waxing face but took forever as was trying to selk, a maje over(look at the portfolio book if make overs) this after turning down some 225 "sake" facial. The space is huge,,9ff street parking, but you won't ever get the stilts you want,,if so, abd great, abirged sakin will snaked then yo. Sadly known owner has build to pay. However we all do, ivgetvmyvhaurcdube twice year, as want the best,,, then leave it be, touch up root, return for real. To sane stylist you trust.. read more

My 1st time at Gianettas's salon. Theresa was amazing , my hair looks great. She's definitely a perfectionist with her coloring /highlights and styling short hair. I say she is second to none . I love the eclectic style and vibe of the salon read more

I had my eyebrows waxed today and they look fantastic. This was the 3rd time the owner waxed /tweezed my brows and the results are consistently amazing. I will definitely go back and may try a facial. read more

I've been microblading my brows for years! Several different artists from AZ to TX to NY... Janet's work is amazing AND it's lasted with no touch ups since December 31st!!!! I don't makeup touch up and haven't had a paid touch up! Highly! Highly! Recommend! AND she's fun to talk to... salon is clean! Staff is fun and educated! Also had my hair done by Nicole... she listens and makes you feel pretty by the time you leave! My pic is no filter, no makeup! I have fine, grey, and thin hair... and had little brows! Well worth it! You need to go... just do it! read more

Had to schedule a very last minute bachelorette party, and Janet bent over backwards to accommodate us and get nail techs to come in on our behalf. The bride had a wonderful time, and everyone was very pleased with the quality of service they received. The space is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do, and cared about our experience. I highly recommend. read more

Absolutely loved stevie and Dominique! I came from out of the area, and they made the experience very comfortable and easy. I ran 30 minutes late, and they still took me. Stevie was super accommodating and made great recommendations. Dom did a beautiful up do, super talented and sweet. I showed her a picture that day and she was able to do it exactly how i wanted it. She took her time!! 10/10 recommended!!! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Unprofessional, ridiculous prices, bad service. I will never go back here again.

I was referred to this salon by a mutual client. I stopped in the other day with a last minute hair crisis (another hair stylist had butchered my hair!). Tina was there for me and was not only able to fit me in with only a few minutes notice, but gave me excellent service! My hair was fixed and looks better than ever! I couldn't be happier. P.S. It's gorgeous inside! read more

I came here yesterday as a little treat to myself to have a 60min massage. I had never been here before and used their email to book the appointment- they had Saturday spots open a day in advance! I thought that was awesome. Once I got there I didn't have to wait long either, which is a plus. The salon is really clean and professional looking, made me feel like I was in a high-end place. I had my massage done by Bridget- she was awesome! I would definitely recommend her. My experience was so peaceful and wonderful. read more

I started coming here a few months ago and have really enjoyed the experience. Great service and really good value for money!

Enjoyed another great facial by Halli! I had the deep pore facial for a deeper cleaning in pores. It was relaxing and I highly recommend getting one. She's always so sweet and professional. She's soft spoken and helps you to relax further. Definitely will be back again! When you think you don't need a facial you're totally wrong. That's when you enjoy to the fullest. read more

I do not recommend getting a haircut here. Not worth the price tag. I went in thinking my trim (1.5" off the bottom) would qualify as a basic cut. No. It cost $75 because I have curly hair. She said it's because it takes more time but I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. The stylist didn't even blow dry it all the way or style it. I walked out with frizzy curls and $75 less in my pocket. read more

My daughter who is 4 months pregnant was visiting us and wanted a pre natal massage. We booked a 1:30pm Sunday, June 13 appointment here because they advertised a pre natal massage. At 10:30am we were asked if we could make a Noon appointment and we switched our day to accommodate that change. Upon arriving, the lights in the salon were off and we thought it was closed. My daughter checked in and then proceeded to wait 1/2 hour because the room wasn't ready. During that time she wasn't offered any refreshment nor were the lights turned on. The massage therapist knew she was pregnant yet asked her to roll on her stomach. And when asked if there were any pillows so she could lay down on her side, the therapist said that the prenatal pillows were in pieces and her boss wasn't there and so didn't get them or figure out how to put them together to use. That is unacceptable service, unprofessional and downright dangerous to ask a pregnant woman to lay down on their belly when they are 4 months pregnant. Was this therapist licensed? Did she even known how to give a prenatal massage? Why is it listed as a service if clearly no one knew how to offer a prenatal massage? Terrible just terrible. If it was me, I would've walked out. My daughter is more pleasant and paid for the service which was over a hundred dollars. Janet Ruggiero needs to check up on this situation and we would appreciate our money returned and at least an explanation for the lack of professional service yesterday, June 14, 2021. read more

At first it just looks like a hair salon, but in the back they have rooms for massages, facials and other treatments. Everything is pristine clean, nicely decorated and perfect to relax. Phillip gave me one of my best massages. Very professional. With a stressful lifestyle, and hard to relax she managed to make me relax. Also got a facial with Allison. She walked me through every step, gave me recommendations for my skin type, and extracted any dirt. It was a great experience! Recommended to anyone! read more

This is a great salon in Beacon in the Mid Hudson Valley.... Emma is the aesthetic woman facials she is also The administer of spray tans and there is no one that does a better job she is a true professional very accurate, very friendly, she makes you feel very comfortable everyone should get a spray tan from her she makes it look better than if it were real I am very fair and burn in the sun so this is what I need to do and she is the best... also at the salon is a true Hair Designer Dominique ... I showed her a pic of the hair color I wanted and without blinking she knew what to choose what colors to mix and my hair came out better than any pic on Pinterest. These are simply 2 amazing ladies at the top of what they do you must go and get a spray tan and the best color job ever read more

I'm from out of state and was looking for a good local spot for facials. The esthetician was sweet but I asked for a classic facial upon appointment. when the esthetician asked me in the room what I wanted I said I frequently get facials so you can use the most intense product that is optional. In the past when I've said that I was given the product within the price wage I had requested when scheduling the appointment or was told other products were an upgrade. I was upgraded but not made aware of it until the end when I went to pay. To my surprise the facial was an additional $40 more then I had been quoted originally. It's not good business practice to charge clients more without any forewarning. Also, when the product was settling on my face the esthetician left the room for 5 minutes. in my past facials, when product was settling, the esthetician would do neck, shoulder, back, and arm massage. There was no massage involved with this facial. Long of the short, I won't go back. read more

Got a super haircut at a very reasonable price in a very quick time. Really appreciated Dominique's service.

I was in town for a wedding and got a last minute appointment for a mani/pedi here. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful in finding the right look for my weekend of events. Amethyst did a really beautiful job. She realized right away that my color selection would not have enough left to provide a smooth look and she got me back on track with a better color instead of thinning it out or skipping a coat like other places. She then took her time and made it perfect! Its been weeks and my toes still look gorgeous. Yes, it was more expensive but she did a far better and lasting job than I am used to so it was worth it. read more

Giannetta Salon & Spa - Thanks Janet my brows came out great!! - Hair Salons Near Me - Beacon, New York

Yet another awesome addition to Beacon! I'm based in NYC now, but I'm an upstate boy at heart. Wow, what a beautiful building! It has this amazing Grand Medditeranian feel to it. Service there is awesome, front desk girls super sweet, and Kathy is a master at hair. Love her! Janet (the owner) gives some rediculously thourough facials. A great addition to the neighborhood, I'm trying to keep it a secret but it seems like they are getting more booked up than ever! Love. read more

Incredibly impressed with this new salon. The decor is lovely and comforting, the atmosphere is light and airy. They carry the best of products, including a full line of hard to find Kerastase! Best of all, the staff is extremely welcoming, polite and professional. The owner works along side her team, and you can tell she is really dedicated to the clients experience. The Friday hours are extremely convenient id you commute. After putting up with sub standard service at area salons since moving to Beacon five years ago, I'm thrilled to have found Giannetta. read more

I have been to Gianetta on and off for years. The services here can be extremely expensive which prevented me from going back. I was a former client at Salon Arje for years, hated the atmosphere and went back to this place in Fishkill called Dazzles which has now closed it's Fishkill location. I decided to give this salon another try because I love location. When I called Gianetta I asked for the the best colorist they had. I got Melissa who has been there for 6 years. She did a beautiful balayage on my hair and gave me a great haircut. It was reasonably priced as well. I would definitely go back. read more

I came here as a bridesmaid last weekend and had my hair done by Chessie. She was so sweet and nice, did an amazing job with my hair and we all left happy (bride included). I asked for a complicated french braid thing which she had never done, but I was so so happy with her work (she worked off of screengrabs on my phone) and it stayed basically perfect and in place for 3 days! The salon owner also baked us banana bread and gave us mimosas, it was such a nice experience in a situation that I'm sure can be quite hectic for both salons and bridal parties. All in all, HIGHLY recommended, and specifically Chessie for being a great hair stylist! read more

I was a salon jumper before I found Giannetta. Janet and her staff are so welcoming and have always gone above and beyond for me. This has become my one stop shop for eyebrows, hair and skincare. I also appreciate the caution they are taking during Covid. Highly recommend. read more

Love Janet and love this addition to Beacon. The hours are great and for me, location is extremely convenient. I go for waxing but am dying to try a facial and body treatment. Only criticism is that I wish they had descriptions of their body and facials on their site. Definitely worth going to! read more

I'll start by saying that this place is very nice inside. You come in and can have some fruit water while you wait to be seen. I came in to get a half up/half done hairstyle for a wedding. No highlights, no haircut, just some curling and a braid which took 45min to do. It came out very nice but cost me $120 (before tip). To me, that's way overpriced! They said it was $30 extra because I asked to have my hair washed before styling. That's ridiculous. I've had a full haircut and styling done for way cheaper at far more pleasant places. I will not be coming back. read more

We are new and Beacon and chose this place only because it was open late. It did not disappoint! The two of us had great , very thorough, mani-pedis with the nicest service and friendly chat. Will go back soon to try the other services, I love it when you can have everything done in one place. read more

Showed up for my confirmed 3:00 haircut and was told my stylist would be a few minutes. One hour later I left without a haircut. At 3:00 when I arrived my stylist had just began cutting another customer's hair. I was not contacted to be notified of the delay, nor was I provided with an update during the hour I was sitting waiting for my service. If you would like a salon that respects your time, I recommend finding another establishment. read more

Had a massage by Ashley which was great. She got all the knots out and was very thorough. Then I had a shellac manicure (can't recall manicurist's name) which seemed ok (although I had to wait 40minutes for a manicurist) but as I looked later I could see she didn't paint the corners very well. The manicure started chipping only 3 days later which has never happened to me that quickly with shellac. read more

I got a massage there yesterday. If I was only reviewing the massage, I'd give it 5 stars. It was truly the best massage I've ever had. The mani pedi on the other hand were sub par. I got a gel mani and a regular pedi, it cost $70 for both services. That is about $20 more than I'd usually pay in the area. Already my toes are chipped and my nails are peeling. There was no great massage that came with either service... My hands weren't even dipped in warm water or given warm towels. For the price, I'd expect a lot more. That being said, the girl who did them was very personable. Maybe she's inexperienced? Or maybe they don't use quality polish? Not sure, but I'll never go there for my nails again. read more

had massage, absolutely terrible, rough with no finesse. Didn't seem professional at all, I do not recommend the massage in this establishment. Also had a pedicure which was half done and even though the shop was pretty much empty, was rushed out. Absolute waste of money and time. I thought Beacon would have better selection of services, but the city has only back water shops with 5th Avenue prices. I wish I could give a good reveiw especially because I live in Beacon, but honestly, I am just telling it like it is, Buyer Beware! read more

Nothing "spa"-like about this place. Looks ok for a hair/nail salon, but not a relaxing atmosphere for massage at all. Loud talking in the hallway outside treatment room, the room & table didn't feel sparkling clean like you'd want & masseuse was really chatty which is never relaxing and just generally rough around the edges as far as personality. No hot towels because she "forgot to turn the warmer on" - just overall fell really flat. read more

I arrived on-time for my hair-cut and the person I was originally going to see was sick, so they had to fit me in with someone else. I didn't mind this, I understand stuff happens. But, after I waited for a half-hour, the hairstylist I wound up seeing seemed to not care less about me. After I had my hair washed, I was forgotten about while having it dried in the other room and I had to come out to remind them I was there. My stylist, a younger blonde, spent the entire time she was "working" on my hair talking about how she desperately needed to send money to her boyfriend, including asking me if I knew anything about Western Union. No, I don't, and I'd rather you just pay attention to my hair. I asked for long layers in my hair, and to have the split ends trimmed. She barely took a quarter-inch off my hair, and the split ends remained in some portions. She hardly cut my hair at all. Won't be back. read more

I love this salon! Janet is the master of brow waxing and tinting! And skin treatments? Don't even get me started! I spent the entire year before my wedding coming to her to get my skin ready for my big day and it definitely paid off. I also got gel nails done for my wedding here and the woman who did them was just as sweet and professional. The space is beautiful, clean, and enormous, and everyone is very helpful, whether you're choosing a product or getting a pedicure. read more

I called on a Friday night in a bit of a panic for a friend who was getting married the next day and had made no arrangements for her manicure or pedicure. They were super nice and were able to get her an appointment for 9:00 the next morning. Amber who did both the manicure and pedicure could not have been nicer and professional. Both services were top notch and the bride could not have been happier. read more

Beautiful salon and lovely staff. High end, great product line, great professionalism, and in a beautiful location. I knew Janet when she worked for another salon and followed her when she opened up this place. Giannetta is gorgeous, huge, and uber classy. Janet may very well be the best waxist I've ever encountered. I've referred a fair share of people to her over the years and have received nothing but thanks for it.
