We had a great time on the Ghosts & Gravestones Tour! Our host was hilarious and the acting throughout the experience was really fun. Don't take it too seriously, just go along with it and enjoy the ride and you'll have a great time! Definitely a fun way to spend an evening in St. Augustine.

Super fun! The tour guides were really nice! I can't fully remember the main tour leaders name but her name was "Jolie" or something similar! Chuckles was the driver and he provided a great haunted driver atmosphere. The locations were spooky and definitely had a haunted feel, the actors for Charlie (Frans I think) and the executioner did an exceptional job! I wish we stayed long enough to do the recommended midnight haunted experience at the jail cell. I wish I could have remembered everyone's names so you could have the best spooky time like us. Definitely want to go again next time we're in town

What we thought was just a small gift shop turned into one of the most memorable parts of our evening. My sisters and I initially stopped in because my sister was cold and needed a sweater. While browsing, we noticed something in the back of the store about tours and were a bit confused, so we asked about it. That's when we discovered the Ghosts & Gravestones tour--and immediately decided to sign up for it after dinner. After our meal, we returned for the tour and spent over an hour riding around the city in a trolley guided by Shamus and Slick, who were fantastic hosts. They were entertaining, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel immersive and fun. The tour took us to several fascinating spots, including the Old Jail and Potter's Wax Museum, which was especially exciting because I had already wanted to visit those places. Along the way, we heard eerie ghost stories, learned some local history, and even visited a cemetery, which added to the whole atmosphere of the night. It ended up being such a unique and memorable experience--definitely not what we expected when we walked into what we thought was just a gift shop. It was the perfect, slightly spooky way to end our evening. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fun and different to do!

This tour was amazing and such a fun way to experience St. Augustine at night. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The trolley takes you to several spooky and historic stops, including the Wax Museum, the Old Jail, and other haunted areas around the city, which made it feel immersive and interactive instead of just sitting and listening. The guides were entertaining and did a great job keeping things fun, especially if you're willing to be a good sport. Getting chosen to participate definitely adds to the experience and makes it even more memorable. This is a 10/10 activity in my opinion. It's great for families, date night, or anyone who enjoys a mix of history and spooky storytelling. We also loved doing this during Christmas time because you get the bonus of seeing all the holiday lights around the city, which made everything feel extra magical. Highly recommend if you're visiting St. Augustine and want something fun, different, and well worth the time.

All the tour trucks were parked by the jail house but that is not where you go to start the tour. That was confusing. Also, the price for the tour just does not seem worth it. You are basically paying to ride around in an open air bus and hear ghost stories. We did take three stops on the tour to get out and see stuff but again, it mostly just stories being told. The people that did the tour stayed in character and did a great job telling the stories but it just doesn't seem worth the price overall.

Fabulous tour, well planned and spectacular performance by all, from driver, tour guide's story telling and jailer at prison. I just wished you all had a Venmo to scan to tip!!! Please bring cash for these wonderful hardworking folks! My mother had a blast.

One of the best ghost tours very engaging workers and made sure it was fun. They took us to different locations around St Augustine that had ghost stories and we learned about the history of ghosts around the city. Luna our guide was amazing and Knuckles and Shackles were awesome drivers

Great tour! I learned about the history of St Augustine, laughed a lot, and got a little scared. Chuckles was the best part! Close runner up goes to Jackson at the jail!

We took this tour yesterday , I was mixed experience the locations were neat, but the story telling was poor. The bus was overly packed , people were complaining about seating. However my part of experience were the story tellers in the historic locations. Neat experience , but a location in Savannah, GA set the bar extremely high.

I absolutely loved it. I love horror movies. Creepy documentaries. I cannot do haunted houses and actual jump scares. This was a great tour of the dark creepy history of the town. Lot of the stories we heard prompted us to look up and read up on later. We did it the nights of lights premier day, we got to see the lights too! Dana was our ghost host and Chuckles and C4 our drivers, they all did great! I was creeped out and intrigued. I will say I didn't go into the jail as she warned it's dark and hard for some people. My husband did go on up and he said it was creepy but interesting.

Another great Ghost and Gravestones tour! Extremely knowledgeable tour guides. We have been before & thought we may see the same thing again but they changed it up....which was great. 5 stars all the way.

We took the Ghosts and Graveyards tour our last night in St Augustine. Very fun experience - our Ghost Guide and others who conducted the tour did a great Job - a fun glimpse into the dark side of some of St Augustine's ghosty history.

Fun tour! Learned a bit about St. Augustine's under belly. The cast was great and the jail was a fun touch!

A bunch of theatre kids performing, didn't learn a single thing from this tour. I paid $40 for a sleepy bus ride.

Ask the Community - Ghosts & Gravestones

Do you get off of the trolley & actually go inside of the jail or is it just a drive-by/stop for a few mins & move along?

When my In-Laws came down we wanted to do something fun together as a family, but my father in-law has a hard time walking around. We stumbled upon this company and were first drawn in by the electric cart that is used to get around. But then after reading all the great reviews we decided to give it a shot. We had Tom as our guide at a 9AM slot and the weather was perfect. The added breeze from driving around in the open cart was an added bonus. Tom was wonderful! Great personality, obvious love for the city and the history, and really enjoys when you ask questions! This tour is great for understanding the buildings, and really appreciating the history while you're walking around on your own the rest of the day. The 75 minutes is a perfect amount of time. We felt engaged the whole time, never bored. It was honestly such a good experience when MY father came down, we took the same tour! My father had a great time! We even had Tom again which was nice because he was so awesome :) Highly recommend this tour! I can see it being great for kids too. Tom also gave us SO many great recommendations on things to do and places to eat after the tour was over. Really made our visit to St Augustine so memorable. Thank you!

We boarded at approximately 8:50 AM, rode around, got off, and experienced some cool sights like the old fort, the Old City Jail, St. George Street, and the Torture Museum. You get to hear from local experts about the history of the city as you drive around, saving yourself the long, hot walks. The hop-on hop-off feature is very convenient, and a trolley comes around every 15 minutes. This gives you time to get off, look around, and have only a short wait to jump on another one. Our group of seven ladies recently booked a wine tasting tour with Serendipity Wine Tasting Tours…read morein St. Augustine, FL. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations, especially considering that each person paid $75. One of our biggest concerns was that we were given a fixed menu that was not disclosed to us at the time of booking. We expected more variety and flexibility with the food and wine selections. We also visited only two locations, which felt limited for a wine tasting tour. Our final stop was a wine shop where more than 15 people were expected to share one charcuterie board and one bottle of wine. For the number of people in attendance, the food and wine provided seemed insufficient. Another disappointment was the lack of historical information about St. Augustine. Since this was the first visit to St. Augustine for several people in our group, we were really looking forward to learning about the city's history and seeing the experience through the eyes of someone familiar with the area. Unfortunately, little to no history or background about St. Augustine was shared during the tour. There was also very little interaction with the chauffeur throughout the experience. Jenna was pleasant and courteous, but she did not interact much with our group or provide the level of engagement we expected from a tour guide/chauffeur. The tour itself was approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, which also felt short considering the $75-per-person price and what we expected the experience to include. Overall, the tour felt underwhelming in terms of value, variety, interaction, food, and the overall experience. I would recommend that Serendipity be much more transparent about the menu, itinerary at the time of booking and consider providing more food and wine, additional stops, historical information, in addition to adding fans to the electric vehicles to keep guests cool in the Florida heat. Unfortunately, based on our group's experience, we would not book this tour again.

There were 12 of us paying $45 each and taking up all the seats for this time slot, and the tour lasted just 19 minutes. We arrived only 6 minutes late, tours are booked on the hour, yet we didn't depart until 7:11 pm and were brought back at 7:29 pm--even though the next tour wasn't until 8:00. We did get hot cocoa and treats (as advertised), but overall it felt rushed, overpriced, and poorly run. Do NOT recommend. We were all very disappointed.
