Went to Ghostbar for a birthday brunch. Was expecting it to be full because I've seen this place packed before. We were the only ones there but it was still a vibe to have our own space. This is more of a vibes, lounge, chill place to have fun. They had a brunch menu, mostly southern style food but very basic. Served with plastic utensils and containers this is not a "fancy" dining place. However, it is chill and fun and drinks are strong. I had the salmon bites and sweet potato fries. The salmon bites were good, wish it had a sauce to dip. I had the strawberry Hennessey drink that is tart, sweet and very dangerous. I had three but two would've been sufficient. Prices were decent and parking is free but very limited on certain nights, it could be a nightmare and there is valet. Sunday mornings, early afternoon parking is fine. read more

This place is located right across the street from the Hardrock lucky street parking garage in a VERY SMALL shopping center. Parking is HORRIBLE! Valet is $40 and self parking is $30 or $20. There's no free parking to my knowledge. We were there for a girls day at brunch on Sunday. We arrived around 4pm and it was somewhat empty. People didn't really show up until about 6pm and even then they only had the bar packed where thing else was empty. Outdoor seating is first come first serve. Inside they have sections you could buy bottles for. We didn't have to make a reservation it was 5 of us. Music was hiphop and r&b mix from 2000s to now with SoFlo vibes as well. Marissa was a GREAT SERVER!! She was very attentive! THEY DO HAVE HAPPY HOUR FRIDAY - SUNDAY INCLUDING HOOKAH SPECIALS. They have $35 bottomless mimosas and $8 frozen drink specials such as strawberry and henny FOOD Cajun pasta with chicken (you could add salmon, shrimp chicken or both and peppers) was so delicious and tasteful. Could've used a little more salt but the Cajun flavor was def there. It was spicy Mac and cheese WOW IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOODDDD!!!! Def order it. The herbs they used wow. Go check it out! I went for Sat brunch vibes (3-6). I had a great time. The old skool music was on one. It wasn't to old that you couldn't vibe but not to new that you wouldn't know. I was expecting it to be packed but it wasn't. So that was a disappointment. The drinks and food was amazing. I had the blue Long Island, seafood rice and salmon. My friends loved their food and drink as well. The service was excellent. They changed the tv to the Georgia game even though they usually keep it in CNN. I'm sorry lol. The reason why the rating is so low is because we are avid hookah smokers and it took more than an hour for the hookah girl to acknowledge the group. Hands down the best salmon bites I've ever had, they don't need sauce but the one it comes with is a nice sweet addition! Their fried shrimp is just as good. We ordered the sweet chili shrimp but they put the sauce on the side instead of tossing the shrimp in it. Both dishes were seasoned to perfection. The caesar salad, mashed potatoes & sweet potato fries were all good. A frozen strawberry Hennessy is a must-try! We came with a group of 8 early Sunday evening with no reservation. We didn't wait long but it quickly got packed. We were seated at 2 tables right beside each other. However if you are going there in the day and evening and leaving before it get really late then the space is sufficient. The lounges were all bottled tables so you have to hope to get sitting at the high table or the bar. I had lots of fun.. I just which there was more space. The Manager on 7/8/22 was not helpful....... The food was good and the service was fine overall. However when I go to pay the check I presented a coupon that entitled me to $25 off a purchase of $50 or more at their establishment. I purchased it through restaurant.com. The waitress was nice and informed me that they do not take gift cards. I asked to speak to the manager and he immediately called the coupon fraud. This is when it all went down hill. He was not understanding and not empathetic at all. He did admit that this has happened a lot in the past to other unsuspecting customers. I was curious as to why they would not force Restaurant.com to take down the offer and he admitted it was none of his concern and not his problem. In short I paid the bill and engaged with him no further, but I did want to mention that this is not the place you go for great service. If you have an issue they will not care and will treat you with hostility if you ask for a resolution. It is unfortunate that the manager did not do his due diligence and saw that their online menu under their search result has a direct link to restaurant.com. It is not I that has provide a fraudulent coupon, it is the establishment that is not aware of the sites they are connected to. I attended the location for happy hour on a Friday. Their social media advertised everything half-off, I was up and ready to get a good vibe on a budget. The evening did not go budget friendly as planned. When I arrived to park it cost $20. There are no other additional parking near the facility; the valet man informed me that we can park across the street and walk over to the facility. I came here in a Sunday at 2pm for brunch, as that's what time they open. You can call to set a reservation, but we were able to just walk right in as they just opened when we arrived. They also have a policy where you can only stay seated for 2 hours before you have to move. They require you to wear a mask to enter, but none of the staff were wearing masks the entire time I was there. There's dim/blue lighting and TVs around the bar, as well as a projector playing the game, so it's definitely a good spot to watch games. The seating was comfortable, but the tables were a bit unstable (they were the cheap end tables from IKEA). They offer drinks and hookah in addition to the food. The DJ was pretty good and kept a nice, steady vibe. They don't have their brunch menu on the website, so everything was a surprise when coming. The options were a bit limited as far as meatless options, but I was allowed to substitute bacon for extra home fries. I ordered the French toast with home fries and eggs. The French toast had a weird taste to it that I can't quite put my finger on, but it wasn't bad. The home fries also had little to no flavor, I asked for some salt and it would barely come out so I had to remove the top. The salt and pepper helped a little. The eggs were fine, kind of hard to mess up. I ordered an old fashion as my drink and you'd love this place if you are a fan of super strong drinks. They even make it with the proper ice. My friends had grits and said they were terrible, but the salmon bites were good. The service started out pretty good. Our server was nice and attentive and took our orders accurately, but naturally as people started coming the level of service dwindled a bit. The process to pay was a disaster to the point it was funny. Would I come again? Ehhh, possibly. On a recent Miami trip, I went with a group of 15 people and was told that they were not selling any liquor or bottle servicing after 12AM. That was a huge disappointment. My entire group left and went to G5ive. I will say that even on a typical night, parking is not good. You either have to pay a pricey valet ticket or park in a random lot a couple blocks behind the venue. I'd recommend taking an Uber to this place. If you're looking for a nice chill vibe with some great food for the weekend, this is the place you would want to come to. The music was on point as I'd like to say lol. They played all the great 90s hip-hop and R&B. We were then presented with menus and ordered drinks. I ordered the strawberry lychee punch, and my friend ordered the blue Long Island. These drinks were strong but very tasty. We started off with the salmon bites as an appetizer, and these are the best salmon bites I've had thus far. They were fried to a perfect crisp, while still being juicy, and seasoned with flavor. I ordered the sweet chili shrimp with a side of loaded mashed potatoes. I was surprised at the big portion sizes, and the food was cooked very well, I was happy with what I ordered. My friends ordered the grilled salmon and the American breakfast sandwich which they enjoyed as well. All our food came out just as we ordered and hot. To end the brunch with a sweet note, we ordered the fried Oreos which was just what we needed. They were soft but crispy. Stopped in a few days ago, wasn't busy but I'm not judging off occupancy due to COVID. We were seated in the dining area (one side is for dining the other is more so for lounging/clubbing). We ordered drinks but the bartender was very inconsistent, the first round was perfect, the second round was watered down and the third round was mostly the nonalcoholic beverage mixed in the drink rather than the liquor. Food was apparently good (I didn't order) however our waitress despite the place not being busy, took a very long time to place our orders. When we were finally ready to leave she was quick to bring us the check but then took over 5-10 minutes to take our payment. Once she took our payment, she then took another 5-10 minutes to come back for us to sign off on it. Not to mention she tried double charging one of us which caused another issue. My girl and I were invited to the Ghost bar for an event back on 12/28 it was an all-black affair that was being promoted. We got there and parking to start was horrendous because the bar is located in a plaza with other businesses, so just know the parking will be challenging, it took us about 10-15 minutes to find a spot we went around in a circles at least 3-4 times before we saw someone that was leaving one of the other businesses and asked for their spot. There was no cover when entering, place is somewhat spacious, we decided to sit at the bar area, once we were seated I expected the bartender to come over and acknowledge us but she just kept on working and assisting other patrons, we waited about 10-15 minutes before I started waving to get anybody's attention to get our drink order, she finally came over and provided us with the menus and we decided to order one of the signature cocktails -Tropical Mojito's-I've definitely had better they were served In about an 8oz glass no more than 12 oz's I am very leery when ordering these types of drinks at a bar because I feel they have a tendency to cheat you out of a drink and they did all I tasted was the sweetness to the tropical flavoring, I know that sugar is an ingredient but this was way too much sugar and not enough alcohol to counteract the sweetness, at $12 a drink I expected a whole lot better but I will digress on the drinks needless to say that was the first and last drink for us there. We then decided to order food off the menu: BBQ Brisket Sliders , and the Lobster Mac and Cheese, food didn't take long to come out to us i was excited to try the Lobster Mac and Cheese, but that too was a fail there was no flavor and most of all I wish there was some lobster in lobster mac and cheese hence the name, sliders were ok but they drowned the brisket in the bbq sauce if I knew then I would've told them to hold the bbq sauce, my girlfriend had the same opinion as mine when it came the drinks and food, as we kept eating the waitresses kept coming back snatching up our napkins and kept asking us were we done and kept trying to clear the area and we were not even done yet this was annoying and this happened at least 5-6 times and I just told him to just go ahead and clear the area because for some reason they kept trying to clear everything-Ughhh....after that we just asked for our check so that we could pay and get the hell outta there and go somewhere else, the bartender handed us the check as we reviewed for the accuracy I noticed that they had already added between an 18-20% tip to our check to say the least I was not pleased at all with this tactic, because I was about to duplicate a tip I am familiar sometimes if you have a party of 6 or more it's customary to add the gratuity, I always tip no matter what but to be caught off guard with this tactic when it's just two of us was improper, please pay attention to your bill when it comes would be my advice. Just where do I Begin?, I've been to this place on several occasions. Some of the worst attitudes work here I must say if you're in a business where you need customers to support your own business why would you treat them like garbage. Going from we don't have to pay to for parking to we have to pay $20 for parking when it is a public lot. There are also other business that are conjoin in this establishment that don't make you pay for the parking. The food is overrated some of the servers have bad a body shape to even be bartending like there attitude is already outrageous! And the manager there let me not even get started. All in general I give this business a year or two before it comes crashing down like any other business that's been in it location! I do not recommend anyone who wants to have a good time to come here ! If I could give this place a zero star it would definitely be my number one on the top of the list !! Very disappointed with the service I received! I paid $50 to valet and I didn't even stay an hour because of the terrible service that was provided. Sat at the bar with a friend of mine and when the bartender was done smoking hookah she decided to acknowledge and service us. We ordered drinks and food and inquired about hookah, the bartender told me hookah was $80 for an hour and $120 for unlimited. Two more people came in and sat next to us and they ordered a hookah and she charged them $60 for an hour meanwhile she told me $80 for an hour. After eating I was talking with my friend facing her and I mentioned something about "tab" the bartender had a full blown attitude and asked if I was ready to go and needed my tab. I was so taken away by this because I wasn't speaking to her. So I said no I'm not ready and I was talking to my friend. She proceeded to tell me that she didn't need people like myself with an attitude at her bar and pointing to door.. As a paying customer who is paying your bills by coming to the establishment this type of behavior is unacceptable! Mind you within the hour I was there she was arguing with another customer over a seat at the bar. People like terrible customer service skills like this will bring down a business so fast. I had a terrible first experience there. The music was good. However i arrived right before 9 and paid for a table/bottle, that was fine. Considering i did pay for a table/bottle i assumed my server would be more attentive but that wasnt the case. My family and I ordered tacos at 9:04pm and at 10:34pm the tacos still had not arrived. Keep in mind the bar was not crowded. There is no type of reasonable explanation as to why it should take 1.5hrs to get tacos. I have been to Ghostbar multiple times I've had nothing but great service and delicious food! The vibe of the bar is more like a lounge which I prefer because it has a lot of space to socialize, drink, or do your own thing. First lets start with the food, I ordered the lemon pepper wings and they were so good I came back the next day (for a day party) to eat them again! the flavors work so well together and they are cooked to perfection literally falling off the bone (my mouth is watering just thinking about them!) I've also had the chicken avocado sandwich which was seasoned great and easy to eat, as well as the shrimp pasta. I personally don't even like seafood, but when I was here with my girlfriends one of them ordered it, and I had to try it and fell in love! overall the food here is amazing, you can't go wrong when you stop by for a quick bite to eat or getting take out from here! Next the bar, I've attended multiple parties at ghost bar, two during superbowl weekend which was one of the most busy weekends in Miami! the servers are fast, beautiful, and took great care of my friends and I. The staff was cognitive of making sure not to over crowd the section, and very prompt to fill up chasers and the hookah. I literally did not have to ask for anything they were already on it. They sometimes have special guests which is really cool, and they always have a great DJ. The music is everything I would want to hear at a club, from turn up to old school they just go with whatever the crowds vibe is and I appreciated that. Even during such a crazy busy big weekend I was taken care of and treated with respect at this establishment. overall, Ghostbar's owner as well as management staff does a great job of creating a safe and fun environment to turn up or chill at.
