As someone who is relatively new to caviar, I spent a considerable amount of time researching reputable vendors before making a purchase. I was pleased to discover that Marky's was the closest well-regarded purveyor in my area. A few weeks before Father's Day, I called to confirm that I could purchase caviar for pickup from this location as they're a "lounge" and was told that I could. When I finally visited on Father's Day, just before 5:00 PM, the establishment was empty except for a host. When I asked for a menu to place a to-go order, I was handed a clipboard with several printed pages. I completely understand that pricing can fluctuate on specialty products such as caviar, but I wish I had been informed upfront that none of the tasting flights were available for takeout. As a novice, I had specifically hoped to order a mid-tier flight as an introduction to different varieties. Unfortunately, the service experience was disappointing. Rather than offering guidance or recommendations, the employee seemed largely uninterested in assisting me. As a matter of fact, the only suggestion was a 32-count package of blini, which felt excessive for two 0.5 oz tins of caviar. At checkout, the interaction remained impersonal, and even the bag was handed over without being properly secured despite a tie being attached. I was also told that I probably should have visited the Miami location instead. While that location may offer a more knowledgeable experience, it is significantly farther away and defeats the purpose of having a nearby store. As for the caviar itself, I purchased the Golden Osetra and Royal Kaluga. Both were served later with crème fraîche and potato chips. While they were enjoyable, I was surprised by how similar they tasted. I did not detect the distinct nutty characteristics I expected with the Osetra based on description and research, and neither stood out enough to justify the premium price. In all honesty, I've enjoyed Costco's sturgeon caviar just as much, at a fraction of the cost and without the disappointing customer service experience. Overall, I came in excited to learn more about caviar and expected some level of guidance as a first-time customer. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome and underwhelmed. Given the combination of indifferent service and an unremarkable product experience, I don't plan to visit this location, or any other Marky's location, in the future. read more

We had such a great night at Marky's Caviar at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood and once again, it did not disappoint. We started with a glass of rosé Champagne and vodka, which paired perfectly with the Royal Osetra caviar service. The caviar was smooth, buttery, and honestly just melted in your mouth. Next up was the hamachi ceviche with creamy avocado and salmon roe on top. Such a good combination and full of fresh flavor. Then came the smoked salmon with roe, served with baguette and crème fraîche. The pop of the roe on top of the salmon was unreal and made every bite better. We followed that with a Caesar salad and the cavatelli pasta with porcini mushrooms and fresh truffle, which was rich, comforting, and exactly what we wanted to end the meal. This caviar lounge is located within the Hardrock Hollywood, in the shopping area. As odd as it sounds, I've been craving caviar and wanted to come here since it isn't often there's a caviar lounge within driving distance of me! I wanted to celebrate after a month full of events so I finally got to come to Marky's Caviar lounge. We came on a Tuesday evening and it was pretty desolate but our server/bartender was super nice. We chose to sit at the bar for a more casual dine and got a drink, the Miami Fog, and the caviar fries. The drink was strong which is good for the price and the caviar fries were pretty massive which was nice considering it was $35. It was topped with both smoked trout roe and hackleback caviar- so good! I also got some caviar to-go and we were able to pick out one with their help so I'm excited to try it out to celebrate some more. They packed it so well and even gave us an ice pack (which lasts about 6 hours) and gave instructions on how to preserve it and to eat it within 24 hours of opening. Overall, a great experience here! First, try a caviar flight. Even if you're an expert at caviar, it's always fun to taste the differences side by side. Flights are available in 0.5oz or 1oz portions of three preselected caviars and all the classic accompaniments including fresh blinis. Tip: Use the left over caviar from the tasting or order your favorite and have it ready to top other menu items. Sevruga pairs surprisingly well with raw oysters while the osetra with vanilla ice cream (trust). On to the caviar fries. Take a basket of fries, drizzle it with kewpie mayo, add dollops of smoked trout roe and unspecified type of caviar and chives. Who said blinis are the best thing to enjoy caviar on has never tried this. Finally the Huso dog is a must try. A chilled king crab leg is placed in a toasted brioche hotdog bun dressed with kewpie mayo, pickled mustard seeds for zing and topped with caviar. The contrast of textures and temperature along with the heightened sweetness from the kewpie / crab pairing and the oceanic wash from the caviar all combine to make for some great bites. Fun, relaxed service to remove any intimidation factor that might come with eating caviar. It wasn't busy when we came, it was actually empty so we had the whole place to ourselves! We had reservations for date night. While staying at the Big Guitar, Hard Rock, I stopped by Marky's Caviar Lounge and had a Beef Carpaccio. WOW! It was delicious with the beef sliced thin, super tender, and nicely chilled. I know, I should have tried the caviar buy with what the Hard Rock stay was costing me, my wallet was in pain, and the caviars I wanted were too pricey. So, the $25.00 Beef Carpaccio had to do. But, it did just fine. Marky's Caviar Lounge is sort of a niche place along the hallway of bigger places, but with a great atmosphere, décor, and overall elegance. The menu isn't that big but the offerings on it are all top notch with some really exciting exotic dishes like a stewed duck fillet with blue cheese and a foie gras terrine. Stopped by Marky's Caviar Lounge before seeing Lord Huron this weekend unfortunately since it was a last minute decision I never made reservations and had to sit at the bar. Sitting at the bar restricts what you can order, so your only options are drinks and a flight of caviar which is not bad but I was hoping to order a few more options. In talking with our server I mentioned this and he was able to get us a table. Since our time was limited we only ordered a few items which included the following : Foie Gras, Caesar Salad and Beef Tartare in addition to Marky's Caviar Flight. Marky's provides an elegant and intimate cozy atmosphere with wonderful service. The dishes are exquisitely crafted and every item we ordered was delicious. The dishes were perfectly paced allowing us to savor each dish without feeling rushed. Before the Kacey Musgrave's concert we had reservations at Marky's Caviar Lounge. We ordered the sampler which came with three different caviars. All three were very good. They were able to accommodate my wife who is gluten-free. I also ordered the Huso Dog with the caviar fries, once again it was amazingly delicious. Also, the drinks were very good, made very well. Hands down the best caviar place! Loved how quick the service and the caviar was exquisite. You don't need to order the most expensive item on the list. There are some cheap caviar options if you wanted to try it out. I loved the truffle fries and the cheesebaord was a great pairing. They also have delicious oysters. Exquisite dining experience at Markys Caviar with incredible service upon arrival by the host and server. This was my second time for date night, as last year I also had a great dining experience. My husband and I started the evening with Marky's Caviar Flight (1 of each) White Sturgeon, Hackleback, Paddlefish. The presentation was phenomenal and served with white glove service. A second serving of bilinis was requested to finish the caviar, which was so freshly chilled and flavorful! I enjoyed it immensely. The hamachi was phenomenal and the chilli sauce had a lovely kick! The crab salad was delicious with fresh crab with light mayo dressing served with toasted pita bread. The beet and fennel salad was a great palette cleanser. A group of us friends celebrated friendship and birthdays yesterday at Marky's. We wanted to go to a fun and lively  place, which made the Hard Rock perfect. Marky's Caviar Lounge is very elegant inside with an elegant menu. We ordered King Crab, Crab Salad, Caviar Fries, Smoked Salmon, Caviar, Hamachi Yellow Tail Carpaccio,  cocktails and a couple of bottles of wine. Everything was delicious as we had hoped. We felt that the service was lacking, however. We had to ask for water refills a few times and wait a while until they arrived. Our wine bottles would be put to the side and no one came to refill our glasses so we had to do it ourselves! One of the girls had to ask for her drink 3 times before they finally brought it to her. All in all, we had a nice time but I'm not sure that we will be returning. read more

Definitely fun to check out more of the restaurants and food options at the Hard rock since they remodeled. The caviar bar when we went had trouble with its hot foods but we just went for the charcuterie board. We tried the least expensive of the caviars that was .5oz for I believe $20 and it was filling. We didn't think it would be or feel like a lot but it was. Add some of the crème fresh with the pita style bread, which wasn't your traditional bread. The service was quick and very attentive. Tablecloth's are at each table and be careful not to get tangled with it. I will definitely try again. read more

I'm a little delayed doing this review. I made a reservation on Open Table two or three days in advance. Received confirmation. I showed up and the hostess said they aren't taking any walk-ins because they only have one chef. I showed her my email with my reservation and she showed me her list which didn't have me listed. A standstill. Ha! Anyway, she apparently asked the chef and came back and said since I was dining alone I was allowed to dine in their restaurant. Lucky me! I need to mention that large tables were sat after me so I'm still confused. The funny thing is I only wanted to go there to try the caviar. The chef didn't have to cook anything for me. After that, the service was wonderful. I ordered a caviar sampler. Loved the presentation and accompaniments. Drinks were incredible. I failed to take a pic of my cocktail. I was trying to love it , I loved my husbands burger , but the prices just didn't fit the food! $28 for a side of truffle fries , if I would have known they were that much I would not have split the with my husband , no wonder she came and took out minutes away first! I ordered the grilled cheese it was ugh I couldn't even eat half . The best part was my liquor drink . If the fries were to die for I can understand but they were not. I was booked at the hotel and wanted to try out two new restaurants out during my stay. I got lucky and made reservations at Marky's. The staff was attentive and our host never missed a beat. Now when it comes to the food, the caviar, wow. I'm coming back here next time I know I'm going to the casino. The prices aren't bad either when you get to taste what I'm taking about. We got orders of the cheese selection, burrata, charcuterie, the smoked salmon, and it was all delicious. The caviar fries were sooo good jeez! they complimented each other well. I want to advise now that the hard rock has finished its expansion and its absolute mayhem inside now, Marky's is located on the Lucky Street Parking Entrance and or the new 'retail side' of the casino. The General Mgr is one pompous arrogant and rude individual. Has no idea how to treat customers. I walked out before I could even order due to his rudeness. Being in a high profile gambler at the Hard Rock I let them know about my experience and they were appalled. It is privately owned so that's why they don't care is my guess but to pay the dumb prices they charge you expect to be treated respectfully and in a proper manner. This GM def doesn't fit that bill. Spend your money elsewhere within the casino as there are better restaurants with exceptional service and kind mgmt. I ordered the oysters, truffle and caviar fries, truffle grilled cheese, burger, and the chocolate caviar for dessert. The two truffle dishes I ordered had an abundance of shaved truffle in it. If your a truffle fan I highly recommend trying these two items. The truffle grilled cheese is one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in South Florida. The caviar and truffle fries are my top favorites! Definitely a must order when your there. The burger is simple made with cheese lettuce and tomato. The chocolate caviar was really intriguing. The caviar part was made with a crispy crunchy chocolate cookie pieces that resembles caviar and it is served over a coffee panna cotta. Its an interesting and delicious dessert! It was an interesting evening, which started at Marky's. We were seated promptly and began to check through the menu options. I was, at first, struck by the prices, which may be more than you expect. Then we ordered our food. The calamari was our first choice, when delivered it was nothing like any other calamari I ever had. There were no spirals or bodies, it was served as wide deep-fried strips and just a few of those. A small portion by any measure. I ordered the burger, it comes with lettuce/tomatoes and nothing more. It arrived on a plate with nothing else, no side dishes. In fact, french fries were an additional $19. The burger was excellent, perfectly cooked, and served hot. My guest ordered the crab meat salad and it arrived as a scoop on a bed of lettuce. It was excellent, very tasty. She enjoyed it but said she was hungry afterward. Overall the food was excellent but skimpy. The prices are sky-high, our bill came to over $80 and they automatically add gratuity to the tab. If you are in the casino and playing with the house's money, then go for it. read more

My husband and I were looking for somewhere different to go at the Hard Rock for our anniversary, so when Marky's had a reservation open we thought we would give it a shot. Definitely not busy on a random Thursday night, and perhaps because it was so close to the outdoor botanical wall entrance, the interior was almost exactly at room temperature. Definitely would have preferred for it to be a tad cooler. We loved the ambience though- the interior is an excellent/relaxing shade of blue, and we enjoyed the contrast to the gray velvety chair cushions. As far as the drink menu goes, they did half about a quarter of the featured beverages that were listed out on their cocktail list. That seemed kind of weird/lame to us, but we were able to find something new to try that was to our liking. It took a while to get our crafted cocktails, but once received we were not let down. They were definitely made with care and quality ingredients. As far as the food goes, we were just there for appetizers. We decided to go with the calamari and the charcuterie board. The calamari was underwhelming. I honestly got the feeling that it wasn't outrageously fresh. It was served with garlic aioli, but it was so subtle that you could practically mistake it for mayonnaise. Our cheese plate was well put together and everything tasted good. Again, not the best one i've ever had out by far, but the quality was there with this at least. Highlight of our dining was probably the complimentary chocolate caviar they brought as a surprise since it was our anniversary. I decided to go with "good," because overall it really was totally fine. However, it just wasn't anything spectacular, and there is definitely some room for growth. I was looking through their Instagram and saw beautiful pics of truffle fries with big slices of shaved truffles and decided to order that for $28 and what came out did not even have any shaved truffles only lil speckles as seen in the picture. I've never left a review for any business on yelp before, but the food & the service at Marky's were both so exceptional that I feel compelled to leave my first one ever. I'd walked by the front of Marky's several times before, as it's right next to the poker room at Hard Rock Holly. However, I'd never tried it out since I thought it was merely a place for caviar-lovers, and that's not necessarily my thing. On this particular day though, the manager (Melissa) happened to be standing out front & she assured us they also have a great food menu irrespective of caviar. We were skeptical at first, thinking it would be overpriced, but Melissa's personality was so friendly that we couldn't resist supporting her! We never regretted that decision. We ordered so many different items and they ranged in quality from premium to super premium to super duper premium. And the whole time, Melissa treated us like old friends, talking, laughing, and she even sang to us! (Keep in mind she wasn't even our server. Our server was amazing too!) As far as the food, I mentioned that every item we ordered was amazing, but I need to single out the crab salad, the wagyu burger, and the strawberries and cream dessert all as being spectacular, and the truffle ice cream as being the best ice cream dessert we've ever had in our entire lives. Overall, the experience was so wonderful that we actually came back a second time a few days later before leaving town! The food and the service were just as great on our second visit, and on this one I also need to mention the amazing service of Daryna. Melissa and Daryna are both infectiously positive people, the kind of people who make you happy just being around them. Between the hospitality of the staff and the delish menu and ambiance- this spot is a must! For those wondering if they like caviar there are many ways to try it out- even sprinkled on French fries!
