Back is big but not as large as the front area. It's almost like being at a giant campground. This is an extremely family-friendly place. Kids are everywhere, especially on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Big play structure and playground for kids. They have face painting and other kids activities on the weekends. Extremely busy at all times but service doesn't lack. Also, pop-up tents with local artisans selling their wares. Live music on the stage every Saturday. Food menu (we didn't eat). Really decent pours when it comes to craft beer. Shared the salted caramel stout with my boyfriend. Hands down one of the best stouts I've ever had (I fancy myself a stout snob). Even our fur boy, Sir B. gives two paws up (see photos). Bonus: band playing when we were there spied me in an Oasis shirt and did a cover of "Don't Look Back in Anger". Nice job, guys.

So they have other beers (craft) as well as ciders and n/an options. I love a good cider but I also know to watch out for that ABV! I'm gonna try their ciders next time we do an overnight in Dripping Springs. Drinking cider and driving back to Austin wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. Same goes for any product containing alcohol, really. Moderation, friends. So back to the pours. When I say they're proper, I'm not exaggerating. I feel like they deserve some sort of acknowledgement from England because the beers are that good. The Whitby is an English pale ale and it goes down so smoothly. The two cask offerings are out of this world. Can't remember the names but one is a dark beer and the other a bitter. I'm here all day for them. Like all day. They also have a nitro milk stout I can't wait to get my lips on. Milk stouts (stouts in general) are another fave of mine. The brewery is welcoming and I loved the vibe from the minute we pulled up. Tap room decor is rustic. They've got a nice outdoor patio with a food truck (The White Hart-good eats). Cool patrons and staff. These guys know their stuff.

I stopped by on a sunny afternoon and instantly loved the relaxed vibe. Picnic tables under the trees, plenty of space to spread out, and super friendly staff who are clearly proud of what they're pouring. It's a place where you can settle in and stay a while. I tried a flight and was impressed across the board--especially the IPA and their rotating small-batch brew, which had great balance and depth without being too heavy. They're clearly doing more than just cranking out the basics here; there's real thought in the brewing. The food truck on site is a big bonus. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries--absolutely hit the spot. Great portions, flavorful, and a perfect match for a cold pint on a warm day. What really sets Bell Springs apart, though, is the atmosphere. It's family-friendly, dog-friendly, and totally unpretentious. You're as likely to see a group of locals playing cards as you are a couple sharing a bottle from the winery next door. If you're looking for a casual, beautiful spot to enjoy craft beer, good food, and good company, Bell Springs Brewing should be on your list. I'll definitely be back--and next time, I'm bringing friends.

It's obviously referencing Matthew McConaughey who went to college in Austin (but is originally from the San Antonio area). Lots of Austin folks make references to the actor. In the flavor profile for this beer it is juicy, citrus which contributes to a strong overall flavor but is yet smooth with this hazy. It's a nice solid beer overall. The location for this brewery is great, large place and it's in Hill Country.

It was hella hot, but we're native, and we had good beer. Service was awesome! Stand out for us was Maria! We kinda joked a little that we had the same first name, then straight on to the beer. She gave us the perfect drinking order, considering our tastes. La Petit Prince was a fabulous starter, low abv, and super tasty. Her next suggestion was Das Wunderkind, again, super tasty! She was on a roll. Last suggestion she had was The Spon 3 Year Blend, it was excellent. We had a few other beers before we started getting hungry. Maria came grab our glasses, and heard us talking about food, and suggested the Citron Pizza. What the heck, so far all her suggestions were spot on, why not? That pizza hit!! Checked all the boxes. Gorgeous brewery, great beer, good people. 10/10 will visit again.

We walked through the parking lot and on the path to the pizza and bar area. We past a large field that had a playscape and noticed that there was also a path that leads to a goat experience. We didn't do that but I wouldn't mind seeing what that's like in the future. When at the pizza and bar area we were greeted by a friendly person that took our order and name. Then we went and found a place to sit. The dining area is huge with plenty of places to sit. There were also several water refill stations which is great. Someone eventually called our name and my husband picked up our order. My husband ordered an iced hibiscus mint tea to try. He liked it. I tried it and the hibiscus flavor was a little too strong for me. We decided to share two pizzas. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the pickle pizza. The pepperoni pizza was good. The crust was light and airy and the pepperoni had flavor. The pickle pizza was delicious. I've never had anything like it. The pizza crust was light and the pizza was flavorful. On a side note the bathroom that I experienced was in an airstream trailer and they were clean. They had other bathrooms onsite but I didn't see them. Overall Jester King Brewery was a very cool place to stop. The open field, playscape, and different experiences are great for families. The service was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. We did both the smashburger and chicken sliders - 3 of each & all different styles ($15/ set) - @ $5/ ea, that was kind of high but more variety. The single sammie is definitely a better value. They were tasty. Again, with free beer - hey, still a great deal! The grounds alone are worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
