He finally came. And we ordered drinks and he immediately brought the two . He took our order and brought us our food. The food was very, very good. When it came time to pay, the server got upset because I was using one dollar coins to pay. I was paying in American legal tender one dollar coins and he says we do not accept this as payment. I said they are legal tender one dollar coins and he says again we do not accept this kind of payment. So I ended up using my debit card. This place does not accept legal one dollar coins for payment of any type. I asked to speak to a manager and he says we do not have a manager here. I always use one dollar establishments around there. They always accept them. We will not be going back there. Because they do not accept American legal of one dollar coins. His demeanor and attitude immediately became rather distasteful. this kind of we will not be going back there this establishment for the local area.

Unfortunately, our service with John was not up to par. We came in between breakfast and lunch hours, which we completely understand can be a transition time. However, the ordering process felt confusing and frustrating. We were first told we couldn't order an appetizer because the kitchen wasn't ready, then later told we could -- but by that time we couldn't order breakfast anymore. We were hoping to enjoy both breakfast and an appetizer, so the back-and-forth was disappointing. When my sister-in-law asked for a second glass of brut, he responded with "Another one?" and repeated it again while walking away, which came across as dismissive and uncomfortable. Similarly, when my father-in-law asked for a second beer, the reaction felt bothered rather than accommodating. To top it off, our checks were incorrect. He did offer to fix them, but at that point we were ready to just pay and leave. Again, the food was truly good and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We just wish the service had matched the quality of the dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious -- everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The castle-like architecture, expansive grounds, and overall atmosphere make it feel like a destination rather than just a brewery. In terms of size and majestic ambiance, it reminded me of Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday and still had about a 30-minute wait for a table. Fortunately, that wasn't a problem because we were able to enjoy a beer while waiting and take in the scenery. The property is large enough that exploring it becomes part of the experience. The beer selection is heavily focused on German styles, which was perfect for me. Whether you enjoy lagers, pilsners, bocks, or wheat beers, there is something for every fan of traditional German brewing. One of the fun touches is that many of the beers are available in liter size pours, adding to the authentic beer hall experience. The food menu is inspired by classic German cuisine, but it also offers a wide variety of other options, including some more upscale dishes. This makes it easy for everyone in a group to find something they will enjoy. Everything we ordered was excellent, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food and beer, the atmosphere is what really makes this place special. The combination of the castle setting, beautiful grounds, German-inspired traditions, and excellent hospitality creates an experience that feels unique and memorable. Overall, this is far more than just a brewery. It's a destination worth visiting whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a great meal in a remarkable setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return.

There's inside and outside seating as well as bar. You enter and they hand you the menus. Despite the red neon order here sign right next to the entrance counter, it's not readily apparent that you do indeed order there. And I noticed it wasn't just us waiting for someone to come take our order as we waited. You seat yourself so unless they tell you directly to order at the counter you could miss it. So when the red neon sign finally clicked in my head, I went over to order. But while I was ordering two more parties came up and asked if they needed to order there. So maybe some more clarity up front outside the sign haha I ordered the Cali burger, my son had a burger, and they had a fajita special that his mom ordered. We also ordered a pretzel. Obviously being a pub they had beers. Non/alcoholic was a limited assorted of coke fair. Only unsweetened tea. No lemonade. Pretzel was soft and delicious. My son's mom loved the fajitas and the beans that came with them. The burgers were also really good. Bread nice and soft. Patties a good thickness. We all enjoyed what we had. No fries though. You get chips for your potato fix. The staff was also very friendly. It wasn't too loud in there and we were able to talk easily. If you're hungry don't pass them by.

We've visited once and are looking forward to a return visit soon. Lots of trees and outdoor seating, live music, food trucks, and a welcoming tap room. So let's talk about that tap room and the pours within it: There are 12 beers on tap (again, hence the name). We've not been through them all but the couple we've were up there with some of the best we've had in Europe. No joke. Like most breweries they have regular beers on tap as well as seasonal pours. N/A options also available. Helles on Wheels is a German lager (oh yes it is) that's light and refreshing. The Hero is also an amazing pour. I'm a huge fan of Hefeweizen and this is one of the best I've ever had. The McGregor actually really reminds me of Ireland. Like a beer you'd find in a quaint village and wish you could take it home with you. Lots of others that we need to get back and try out. Welcoming and fun place.

Their solution: FREE BEER ALL WEEKEND. Now, it's impossible to give anything less than 5 stars when it's free! We indulged in 4 Pints & ordered food/tipped back heavily enough to compensate for the freebies. It's simply a beautiful workaround to stay open & stay relevant- plus, staff are still getting paid. We did both the smashburger and chicken sliders - 3 of each & all different styles ($15/ set) - @ $5/ ea, that was kind of high but more variety. The single sammie is definitely a better value. They were tasty. Again, with free beer - hey, still a great deal! The grounds alone are worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They shared the background story for this veteran owned business & it was all just very inviting. The beers we had were all good. My favorite was the dark stout, which was a very solid stout.
