So I was driving to dinner with my Wife one recent Friday night and I passed by one of this company's big Orange and Blue trucks. I didn't bother reading the company name. The Orange and Blue told me all I needed to know. Or so I thought. I sneered at the truck, muttering some choice curse words under my breath. See, I detest that color combination, Orange and Blue. I'm not trying to see any Orange and Blue. Ever. I'm all about the Silver and Black. But as drove by that truck, my Wife said, Wait, what? Before I could ask what she meant she said, Turn around. Turn around we have to go back! That truck, she explained, I need to see what it says. So I turned the Cruising Vessel around and drove back, pulling up right across from the unfortunately painted truck. As I read the side of the truck. My wife said, we need to call these guys. I knew she was right. I mean, not because she is always right, but because the inside of our trash bin was disgusting. You don't even want to know how disgusting. My wife put the number for GETR WASHED in her phone. Subsequently, she said it was super easy to set up an appointment. The company schedules your bin cleaning to coincide with your trash pickup day, so your bin will be empty when their truck arrives. Since their minimum is two bins we decided to have our garden clippings bin cleaned too. Both cans had untold years of ground in grime. The following week the unpleasantly painted GETR WASHED Truck showed up on schedule. They cleaned the bins right at the curb. They use 200 degree water. Germs don't stand a chance. The results were almost unbelievable. The bins were cleaner than I expected. Far cleaner than I would've thought possible. And they even smell good. No lie. They deodorize the bins, they re-odorize them with a pleasant scent. And the job was completed far faster than I expected, too. When I went to see how the job was going the big truck with the irksome paint job was already gone. The cost seemed quite reasonable. I think it was around $60 for two bins. It struck me as a good value. I was very impressed with GETR WASHED. So impressed I'm not even gonna trip about their distressingly painted trucks. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. But next time I would definitely wait until after football season. I don't want any Orange and Blue around my house during football season. I had an issue getting services scheduled and started after signing up but after I called them they immediately resolved it without any difficulty. The first service the gentleman went above and beyond like 300% to make sure everything was done perfectly. Like you could eat out of the trash cans after he was done with them. Our bins were NASTY and COVERED in black widows. We've tried keeping them clean over the years but some things just require a professional. Our bins came out immaculate and smell so good! When this company first started they were great! Tyrone was my service provider and he was always on it . It was a good value and I was very happy with them. The past 7 months everything has changed! They charge me on my autopay monthly but then they don't show up, no text appointments anymore, they do not return emails. I didn't want to write this but they forced my hand. They had every opportunity to resolve the situation, but made zero effort and chose not to. I cancelled yesterday in writing, they better not try and charge me ever again. Yea sure you could save a little money by cleaning your trash can yourself...but why struggle with that nastiness when all you have to do is pay a small fee to have it cleaned meticulously without breaking a sweat! They promptly emailed soon after the signup confirming the service I signed up and when my first pickup would be. They also emailed and texted a day before.
