Great food, nice people and slots if you like that. Food is a little spendy but best sandwiches (I spend about $7.50 on one).

This place is a burger dive in all the right ways. Good food. Good prices. Don't let the outside fool you.

All in all, a solid store for low prices. I have requested the Good Seasons Zesty Italian, but so far, I haven't seen it on the shelf yet. I took an item off before I paid so it wouldn't proceed, so the employee got a message, he came over and he signed in and when I saw the total I said, that looks high for what I bought. He actually said "what do you want me to do about it!" I said excuse me?! I asked if he was an employee, his badge was turned around, I thought maybe this guy doesn't work here. He said again in a hostile manner " what do you want me to do about it!" And before I could say anything, he told me I was being rude. I said excuse me? " he said you are being really rude right now!" I said "I just asked you a simple question" and then I told him to step back from me get away from me go back to your till. You are upsetting me. I was in such disbelief. I was thinking to myself, what's happening here?! He was actually scaring me and I felt I was being bullied because he didn't know how to answer my question. I will never go back to this Springfield store. I'll try the one on Chad Drive and hopefully it works out better.

We spent a few minutes browsing, and left with some fresh product and fun items. In particular, I bought an heirloom tomato which was orders-of-magnitude higher quality than what I can get at a mainstream grocery store. I used it to make some tomato sandwiches, and it delivered. I don't know where they sourced it, but I'd guess it may be a local farm. They also had some good quality bananas and other produce staples. The staff person who checked us out was friendly. It was the sort of store that I maybe wouldn't go to every day for family groceries (I'd guess a bit too expensive for my everyday tastes), but I would definitely stop in to browse and get some fun things every now and again.

It's very homey inside, and they even have cute little carts. The service has always been impeccable as well. I am continually impressed by how they stock the store with the limited space they have. I hope some day they can expand into one of the spaces next to them, and take the little store to the next level.

About 20 minutes passed by and the individual came back to the counter area and helped a family that had come in a while after me, no worries, granted I didn't state that I had been waiting but I let them go ahead. As I approached the counter, the worker mentioned that the Chinese section was closed as it was no longer good and has been considered not sellable and/or had gone bad. I am baffled as I had been waiting and had a ADA senior waiting in the car. I am surprised at the negligence of the customer service provided this evening. I do not believe I will be returning to this location. I advise people to save their time and go somewhere else. How unfortunate it is, to waste peoples time. I am usually a very kind and patient person with manors but tonight shocked me. Customer service, please be informed on practices around your store to avoid any further inconveniences. Please take this time to train your staff as this can be a learning experience.

Our visit ended up being one of the most memorable stops of the whole trip. This neighborhood grocery story store leans into South Asian food, but with all the usual American staples. The food truck is outside, and all done by one chef. That's to say, the food is made fresh and patience is needed. Thankfully, inside that had a great selection of local and international beer so I bought a 6-pack for us to enjoy while we waited. There were also colorful characters enjoying food and drinks outside who talked with us at length. It was really pleasant to be able to wait comfortably. If you're nearby and looking for light groceries or amazing Indian food, it's worth your time to visit!

Parking is a little janky if you're not used to the area, but this grocery store is otherwise a hidden gem! It might be run of the mill for locals; I'm not sure if this is a large chain that's all over the place or if it's less common, but the produce, meat, and cheese departments blew me away. I just want to rave a bit about this particular section of the store - most everything else was similar to what your expect. I've never seen such a large selection of items in a grocery store deli before... it was honestly slightly overwhelming to pick just a few items to try. There are individually wrapped chunks of tons of different types of cheeses, dried meats and prepackaged ones, accoutrements like breadsticks, olives, mini jelly and jam jars, and more. It was amazing. The bakery case was a whole other story... I have the biggest sweet tooth and can't get enough of baked goods, and their displays were absolutely gorgeous. I unfortunately didn't purchase anything from this section, but I can only imagine it's delicious lol. Checking out was easy as it usually is when grocery shopping and the lady that helped me out was friendly, so I really had absolutely nothing to complain about during my extremely brief visit to this super cool store.
