Absolutely loved this spot! So unique and unlike anywhere I've been before. The customer service was an absolute 10/10. The menu has a lot of suggested options if you get overwhelmed at a big menu like I do go for one of these. I went with the Ube special and was surprised with how vibrant it was! Such a beautiful purple ice ball topped with fresh pineapples. There was a lot of syrup in my bowl to the point where it was almost like soup but even still it was amazing. I've flavor was so good and went so well with the vanilla ice cream. Definitely would recommend a shave ice bowl to cool down during these HOT summer days! read more

aw man talk about some really good shave ice! my husband and i shared one and every single bite was delicious. it was so refreshing and not too sweet. it was the perfect amount of toppings to ice to icecream ratio. the staff is all super friendly and there's tables where you can sit to eat. after going to hawaii and trying real shave ice, this is one that's actually on par! 10/10 would recommend! read more

I have been to their shave ice truck on shore drive a couple of times & their storefront in the Vibe District, a couple of times as well. Their shave ice is refreshingly good & tasty and the portions are great! For those who haven't experienced shave ice yet, it's like the texture of (snow) powder. It's light & fluffy, not icy & not crunchy. They pour flavored syrup of your choice over the shave ice. Two choices of syrup if you're building your own, however they do have suggested pairings if you're undecided or have analysis paralysis. They also have specials which are limited different flavors. Currently (6/01/24) they have an ube flavored one & a watermelon mojito flavor. It gets really busy inside. I suggest following their Instagram for updates. I believe this Tuesday (6/04/24) they mentioned closing the inside and making it a walk up window instead, to keep up with the influx of customers. There will still be plenty of outside seating with umbrellas (picnic tables). Also they will be starting their summer hours, opening earlier & closing later. They have a small climate controlled shack/hut for extra seating. But that seems to get occupied fast. They do offer some vegan & dairy free options, just be sure to verify the options. They also offer military & first responder discounts, be sure to mention it & show ID. So far I've had the Aloha Breeze (good, but not my favorite), The Chill - really loved this one, only if you like blueberry lavender, Pitaya in Paradise- this is another one of my top faves, The Sunset another great one, tastes like a dreamsicle. My husband had the float on and I was able to try some of his. That was delicious too, basically tastes like a root beer float. Under the shave ice is a scoop of ice cream. You can add their homemade whip cream for 50cents which is tasty too. If you see snocap- it's condensed milk which really adds to it. If you're looking for a dessert that is light & not overly sweet and won't make you feel like you're going into a sugar coma, this is your place! They are also very friendly. Parking- is challenging. There are roughly 6-8 angled parking spots. The shop itself is located between Prosperity Bakery and the car wash place. This place was soo worth the stop. The kids loved it just as much as my hubby and I did. I got the dragon fruit passion fruit coconut lime with coconut cream on top. And hubby got the strawberry pineapple with pineapple on top. The staff were so awesome! They helped us out so much. There is also a nice shaded seating area with umbrellas. read more

As a Hawaii native I had high expectations and they hit the mark for sure! The portion sizes are great, the syrups all taste amazing and not like ridiculously sweet artificial syrups. I got passionfruit and strawberry (with ice cream of course) & li hing mui, coconut sno cap & coconut whip and it was 10/10 Can't wait to come back and try more flavors read more

The perfect treat for this third-trimester lady trying to survive the Virginia summer! I went for the first time with my husband and toddler on Sunday evening around 5pm. The line was out the door but moved quickly. We ordered and headed outside to wait at a picnic table. Our treats were brought out to us in under five minutes! Everyone working was super friendly! I ordered the Shaka Colada and it really hit the spot. Coconut ice cream, pieces of pineapple and mango, shave ice, fruit syrups, toasted coconut, and a sno-cap. So very refreshing. My husband ordered a root beer float menu item which had vanilla ice cream, shave ice, root beer syrup, choice of additional vanilla or cherry syrup, and a sno-cap. The portions are generous for $8 apiece. We both shared with our little guy who enjoyed both yummy treats. They're located in the Vibe district near the Oceanfront. Tight parking but plenty of outdoor seating plus some seating options in the cute shack behind the restaurant. Highly recommend checking them out! read more

This place absolutely exceeded my expectations! They have an expansive menu with a build your own option as well! I got the one that's like a pina colada in a bowl & it was delicious! The flavors all complimented each other great. It was true shaved Hawaiian ice, nice & smooth & creamy! Unlike Kona ice which is icy, chewy, & syrupy. It was pretty quick, & there's limited bar seating inside & then picnic tables outside, as well as an indoor shack. There's also a free parking lot, so need to walk like I did - although it's a great treat to cool off! I hope something this good comes to Richmond, but in the meantime I'll be back here whenever I'm in town! read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but our experience at Get Lost Shaved Ice was incredibly frustrating. We were told right at the door if we still wanted to place our order because it would take 30 minutes to make. My partner and I were okay with that and placed our order. I tried to pay for it via credit card but the system was not processing the transaction. Out of kindness, I then suggested that I could pay using cash to help alleviate the issue. My partner and I then sat down and waited for our order. After waiting 10 minutes, they begin calling repeatedly for somebody's order. They never show up for their order. After another 10 minutes, we are offered the people's order that never showed up. I accept but ask the staff if they want the ice fully expecting that I am still going to get my order. After 25 minutes, the people that ordered before us show up and they were also told that it would take 30 minutes for their order to be ready. They then ask for their order and were told that it was given away. Turns out, it was given to us. So now I'm in this awkward spot where I'm eating the other people's order and now knowing that I'm never going to get my original order. Really disappointing and it felt like the employees just wanted to leave and that was why they told us it would take 30 minutes for them to make our order. So ultimately, I never got my order that I paid for and ate someone else's. read more

I am OBSESSED! I've been twice now and the brain freeze is worth it. They offer a variety of shaved ice desserts with rotating specials. Every time I've been, the staff and owner have been so kind and inviting, offering great feedback on what items would translate well with dairy free modifications. I mean come on. Not only do you offer DELICIOUS dairy free options but you're gonna verbally hold my hand to make sure I make the best choice? Be still my lactose intolerant heart. I tried the Ube Bay Bay Bay and enjoyed how refreshing this treat was in the summer heat. The ube flavor was strong, there was a nice balance of syrup and ice, and the addition of pineapple and ice cream make this a unique dessert for me. I would try it again and will maybe add the coconut whipped cream as well. The service took about 10 minutes and there was plenty of outdoor seating. read more

Amazing spot in VB to have a nice refresher. The shaved ice + ice cream combination plus the flavors ideas are out of this world. Not overly sweet, very creative and delicious! Service is top notch, Stephanie and Stephanie ( both same name :) ) are a wholesome in customer care. Small joint with very beachy cool vibes. Not a lot indoor seating but enough to hold people in and take the order. There's plenty outdoor seating, they even have a small shed like space with seats and a heater space / fan In the summer. Simply became one of my favorite places to visit every time im around in the around. read more

We finally have a TRUE Hawaiian Shaved ice spot in the 757! This is not your typical snow cone spot - well, because it's not. Think of really finely shaved ice combined with some unique flavors and you get.. Get Lost! Located in the VIBE district of Virginia Beach, this shaved ice place just opened up a few months ago and business seems to be popping! Came here on a warm Fall day and was able to make some small talk with the owner, Stephanie, who was super chill and friendly. We were lucky to be the only other customers in there so we took our time in ordering. I got their version of the orange dreamsicle and my wife got the Shaka Colada. We both absolutely loved our shaved ice creations - so much that we didnt even try each other's in fear that it would ruin the flavor explosion that was going on. It was delicious in every way and didn't taste artificial at all, b/c it isn't! Be warned, the large 12oz cup can easily feed two people... I wasnt able to conquer it, but gave it my best shot. Each one was expertly crafted to order so be prepared to wait if there's a long line in front of you. There's two high top chairs inside the main area and then an additional seating shack in the back and several outdoor benches as well. I recommend coming here if you want to try a different type of dessert offering! read more

Super sweet and helpful staff. We got cotton candy & bubble gum with cotton candy sprinkles, and mango & pineapple with whipped cream. We also got a bit of homemade whip for our cat. We both got the 12oz which was entirely too much haha. I do believe the 8 oz would have been plenty (if not too much). Everything tasted so great! read more

We really enjoyed sitting in the space out back, super relaxing and like a little beach shack getaway. Pitaya in Paradise: 5/5 Not too sweet and goes great with the ice cream center! I love that this one is made with homemade dragonfruit syrup. Lucky Leprechaun: 4.5/5 This was a March special but the overall flavors were on point! Stoked that Virginia Beach has an amazing shaved ice place! The last time I had Hawaiian Shaved Ice, it was 2019 and I was in Kauai, Hawaii with my then-boyfriend (now husband). I've been craving something authentic ever since. I ordered the smaller version of the "Tropic Like it's Hot" flavor. My shaved ice had a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle along with guava and lychee syrup on top. Everything was topped with homemade whipped cream, coconut shavings, and a lime wedge. Very pleasantly surprised! I've never had this kind of ice cream/saved ice but my husband and I were told we should try it out. I got the ube-bay bay and my husband got the aloha breeze. THIS IS NOT AND CANNOT BE COMPARED TO A SNOW CONE!. These had so much flavor and the perfect texture unlike a regular snow cone which tastes like artificial sugar and flavors along with large chunks of ice. This small, clean business is welcoming and efficient. They're patient when you are new. We dearly love and miss real Hawaiian style shave ice! It's fluffier than many shave ice brands. You can get ice cream IN your shave ice and I was thrilled when they told me they have a couple of oat milk flavors! They're generous with the flavor syrup. I got blueberry lavender with frozen vanilla oat milk inside. Delicious! Super friendly environment. They greet you as soon as you come in and if you've never been there they explain the menu, which is great cause it can be overwhelming. As busy as it was they were fast. This is officially one of my fave spots in VB! I came here with my friends it was so good that I came back a few days later with my boyfriend. So far, I've tried the suggested pairing flavors: aloha breeze and shaka colada shave ice. I added whipped cream to both for an extra 50 cents. Aloha Breeze (4.5/5): This one has a passion fruit and mango flavor base and is topped with diced mangos and sno cap and toasted coconut. There is vanilla ice cream at the bottom. Personally, I was a fan of everything except the vanilla ice cream, because I feel like coconut ice cream would have tasted better with the fruity flavors. Shaka Colada (5/5): This one has a pineapple, coconut, and mango base flavor. It's topped with toasted coconut and sno cap and diced pineapple. This shave ice consisted of coconut ice cream at the bottom, which was perfect with the pineapple flavor! This is my favorite flavor so far. They have a whole list of suggested pairing flavors on their board and seasonal flavors too, but you can also create your own! My friend got one that consisted of cotton candy flavor. Be prepared to spend around $10 for your shave ice! Also, their syrups are HOMEMADE with no preservatives OR food dyes! So you can eat it guilt-free :) Service is amazing and everyone working there is SUPER sweet. They're always helpful with any questions and always smiling and greeting their customers. They even offered my puppy some shave ice for him to try! He loved it! Bring your pup here for a cute little date :) They have outdoor seating and an indoor heated cozy area (i am not sure if dogs are allowed in their indoor seating though). Gonna go ahead and give this bad boy all the stars. What an awesome new addition to Hampton roads! I am an ice fanatic, and while I love a yummy ice cream cone, I ADORE ice. It reminds me of hot NYC days getting fresh ice from the ice cart vendors. I was so missing it. This really is perfection to me! Upon coming inside the first thing I noticed was that it was a full house! Often that's always a good sign of things to come, it rang true! As I walked in they were getting out ice as fast as possible, and still noticed me and said hi. They also told me if I had any questions feel free to ask and they give me the rundown. I appreciate that. For someone with anxiety it's nice to be told that instead of getting nervous wondering if you'll ask to many questions lol. They have really pretty boards up with all the options and additions so it's very easy and to go board to board to see how it works. You choose your flavors, ice cream, and then toppings. As I stated I'm more of an ice girl so we decided to X the ice cream and toppings and went with two ice flavoes. Blueberry lavender and passion fruit. It was absolutely amazing! The flavors were delicious, and you watch them make it right in front of you. They crush the ice up and mix the flavors as you watch, which always makes the food taste better doesnt it?!! We ordered one to share, as they are pretty large...however if you're an ice addict who can handle their fill then you for sure should go separate. They have outside seating, as well as a little house like set up in the back with swinging chairs, regular chairs, and I saw a set up for a/c and heat. It also has a sliding door so if it's a bit too chilly you can probably close it!!! Lol. I had so much fun on the chair swing enjoying my ice. The amount of flavors they have is insane, and they don't mind if you take your time. (I hate places that rush me ugh). Also, they sell such cute merch that I bought a shirt! Straight off the hanger as they were going fast and it was the only one left in the design and size I wanted. I squealed with glee about that shirt, and can't wait to wear it. I give a total stamp of approval on this place. Delicious ice, great customer service, and immaculate vibes! What more could you even ask for? I'll be back for sure! They're for sure giving a new meaning to a "chill vibe" (gotta throw in a little dad joke but yeah you get it! This place is amazing!) I've been here twice and it's pretty good. I went to a place in Arizona years ago and have yet to find shaved ice like that, but this is the place for it. I REALLY like the dairy free options, it's hard to have options like that at the local ice cream shops nearby. The employees are very nice and it's clean inside. I've had the aloha breeze my first time and the pitaya in paradise the second time, both were good. Maybe from now on I will omit the ice cream because it's not like it's homemade or anything, but that's just my preference. Highly recommend this place! read more

Get Lost serves Hawaiian inspired shave ice in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s our mission to transport you to the islands while providing you with outstanding customer service. There will be a scoop of ice cream at the bottom of your bowl, fresh shaved ice on top of that with syrups and toppings. Our ice is soft, fluffy, snow like ice that absorbs the syrup versus just sinking straight to the bottom. We offer a variety of homemade syrups and homemade toppings to put on your shave ice. We offer a suggested pairings menu of flavor combinations we think taste fantastic. Don’t love any of those?! No problem! Overall our visit was just blah. I had the mint chip ice cream my daughter had vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and my husband the chocolate milkshake and we all were disappointed I guess we've tried other ice cream parlors and based on this location and reviews our expectations were a bit higher and we were all disappointed. We actually drove about 30 minutes specifically to try them, but unfortunately they weren't available. Even though I was disappointed, I still had a really nice experience. The café wasn't busy when we visited there was only one couple dining in, it was clean, and the customer service was great. The employee who helped us was friendly, welcoming, and very kind. Since they were out of the malasadas, I decided to order the banana latte instead. I'd give it about a 7/10. For context, I'm always searching for a great banana latte because I love flavored coffee. One thing that frustrates me is when coffee shops advertise flavors like cookie butter, lemon pound cake, or red velvet, but the drink just ends up tasting like sweet coffee with no real trace of the advertised flavor. I was pleasantly surprised because this latte actually tasted like banana. It wasn't the best banana latte I've ever had that title still belongs to one I had in Las Vegas but it was definitely one of the better ones I've tried. The only reason it wasn't rated higher is because I noticed a sugary base flavor that overpowered the coffee a little for me. I personally prefer flavored lattes where I mainly taste the coffee cut with milk and the featured flavor heavily, not just sweetness. That's purely my preference. The fact that I finished the entire drink says a lot. I've had plenty of flavored coffees that I couldn't even finish because I disliked them so much. This wasn't one of those. I enjoyed it, and I definitely didn't regret ordering it. Now...the real star of the visit was the lumpia. It was AMAZING. Crispy, flavorful, and easily some of the best lumpia I've had. I actually tried another lumpia spot recently, and while it was decent, Ohana & Co.'s lumpia completely won me over. It's honestly the reason I'll be back. I have an eye appointment in the area next week, and I'm already planning another stop. I'll definitely be ordering the lumpia again, and this time I'm hoping they have the banana malasadas because that's what I originally came for. I also want to try one of their platters. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend giving Ohana & Co. a try. The customer service was wonderful, the café was clean, the banana latte was one of the better ones I've had, and the lumpia alone is worth the drive.
