Didn't have a chance to try anything. They were out of the raw pesto pasta... ok, no problem... then, who I assume is the owner, came up to the register and I asked a question regarding ingredients... she was about to answer when suddenly she noticed a random receipt on the register. Then it was like I didn't exist as she got after the employee instead and began instructing her on what she should have done instead of helping me and then addressing the receipt situation after. Was just weird. I walked out. Just bad service. Though, I'll add that it seemed like a neat place and I might give it a 2nd try some day... could have just been an 'off' day. read more

I have only tried A few things off the menu. The spicy egg salad sandwich is great! I also love their cranberry walnut salad and butternut squash soup. But I have to say that it's the customer service that brings me back. One of the ladies (who I think may be the owner) is very friendly and accomadating. Will definitely be back. read more

Absolutely delicious soups! 1st visit today. The vegan tomato bisque was flavorful, creamy, and fresh. The turkey kale soup was so satisfying- smokey complex flavors and fulfilling without being heavy. It's clear the owner chef has perfected her recipes. She is very kind and was happy to share some tips and her knowledge about healthy food preparation when I asked for the recipe. The cafe itself it nicely decorated and feels like home. His was my first time here and it was a cool experience. I liked the food. I am into healthy food and this place offers healthy options. I wasn't as blown away with the zucchini noodles like I thought I was going to be. It wasn't as seasoned as I expected it to be. But nevertheless, it was fulfilling and pretty good. Staff and decor are very nice. Food was not so good. They offer mostly sandwiches and pizza and salads. I had a Rodeo roast beef and my hubby had tuna. The bread was dry and not fresh and untoasted. As a Celiac, I'm very limited to the restaurants that I feel comfortable eating at but I just added a new one to my very short list. The service was great. The girls were friendly, helpful and understood about cross-contamination. My husband and I split a GF pizza that was delicious! The peach ice tea is good & not sweetened- yummy (but I should have asked for more ice) will go back to try something new next time. I ordered the Marcus vegan burger and margarita pizza. Although they were decent and edible both of my orders were nothing special at all and the pizza was burnt. I also ordered two smoothies one banana one peach and I asked what was in them and they didn't seem too sure but they said puree that they bought plus ice and water and after tasting them it didn't taste like a smoothie, instead more like a slushee which is disappointing when their name is literally get FRESH cafe. When first walking in their to pick up my order I said hello multiple times to a staff member and she ignored me but said something about not having her coffee which isn't an excuse to not be polite in my opinion. While we were waiting for our food it felt like they started making it when we got there even though we ordered 20 minutes in advance so it felt kind of rushed. The inside also felt kind of dirty, and I noticed that they didn't have their masks on until their owner came in unexpectedly, which is when they decided to put them on. And their Cookies are really small but the chocolate chip cookie is really good though. I had high hopes from their name but I guess you can't judge a book by its cover. read more

I used to frequent this place as it was the best veggie & vegan place in town. Ever since I've left town it's changed flavors, serving uncooked shredded daiya cheese. The flavor of the veggie panini I got were not well put together at all. And the main bad taste left in my mouth was how the owner treated my friend while he was ordering, responding "I guess so" when he stated his order. Not sure if it's racially charged or what, but nothing I've faced from her before when I came in, and the combative attitude she had with him was so strange. I write this review with bittersweetness as its my last time eating at Get Fresh Cafe. I first started eating here in March when I started working in the AV. I was skeptical at first but knew that I wanted to try to eat healthier and gave it a shot. I was so pleased with the menu and love the Green Smoothie and tuna sandwiches along with the salads and pizza. Everything on the menu is amazing. My favorite is the Green smoothie! My favorite place in AV. It's s little slow at times but well worth the fresh, delicious food. It's nice to get gluten free and allergy free foods without paying extra for it.
