A look at the "caution" tape that is keeping nobody out of anything
Jennifer W.

Serious injury waiting to happen!! Their multi-level playplace has several areas falling apart, platforms held up by nothing with an 11 foot drop underneath. Areas "blocked off" by this sloppily hung tape that the children were just tearing through.

This place is an indoor trampoline park with basketball courts and available for birthday parties. The facility is brand new for now and in awesome shape. The price is a bit steep 1-hour for $18, 2-hour for $26 and $5-6 less for smaller kids under 46". The kids had a great time bouncing around on trampoline basketball, dodgeball, and obstacle course. Saturdays is always chaos on the front counter so be ready to be overwhelmed with children. You have to sign a safety waiver before entering the play area, they have a kiosk at the front desk to sign safety waivers. Or go to the website and do it from your phone - it will save you time. Overall, this place is excellent for hyperactive kids and teenagers. They do b-day parties too but do not book online. Ask for military discount if applies!

Great place for a fun 2 hours, for adults and children. A lot of things to do, but definitely not the place for a party. I noticed a party was going on, and the employees just let the children run wild, and I noticed a couple got hurt. Dodgeball was the most dangerous game, because the kids just shove and push, and get away with it. They have plenty of vending machines, and there is a pretty cool ninja course. What was the most fun for me (Yes I did jump too for a bit) was the rope swings, although my kids liked the trampoline basketball court. There were some high schoolers who were throwing dodgeballs at little kids though, and the employees were just standing there laughing!!! It was very rude and disrespectful to the kids. This is NOT a place for little kids, probably better for kids aged 11-13. A fun place if you take out the employees. Not wasting my money here again

The "lifeguards" on duty on our last visit.

We held our grandson's birthday party two years in a row here. Both times the pizza that was ordered arrived over 45 minutes late, we had to track down a staff member to get our beverages and the staff at Get Air was largely inattentive in general. Very poor level of service. Of greater concern is the lack of oversight by the so-called "lifeguards" tasked with monitoring the guests to help ensure their safety and compliance with the rules. Every time my family has been a customer there, all of these "lifeguards" were teenagers with no adult supervision apparent. These teens were more interested in mingling among themselves than monitoring the guests. We witnessed several young kids get injured and these "lifeguards" were largely clueless in how to triage the injury or provide even basic first aid. It does not appear that an adult manager/supervisor is even on site. We will be finding another venue for our family in the future.

Massage chairs, one out of order and they do have a ton of wear and tear

Not very clean, the kids were going outside with just socks on and then going back to jump. Gross. The staff didn't stop any of the kids from doing this. Also the floors are sticky too which just needs a mop. Maybe the kids working there could get off of their phones and mop. The massage chairs definitely need repair, they were all ripped up. Also the vending machines are messed up too. One outside by the basketball court wouldn't take any money, the one inside get air took my money then spit it right back out almost ripped up and the one right by the front door just took my money and didn't give it back. The staff at get air said there was nothing they could do, but offered to exchange the wrinkled almost ripped up dollars their machine gave me... Would've been nice but those are the dollars that the other machine stole. Dirty, inattentive staff and inconvenient drink (soda) availability I won't be back.

This location is next to the south Alaska Club. It's fun and wears the kids out! It's even fun for the adults! They have a small kids area, an obstacle course, a dodgeball area, rope climbing, basketball hoop, a birthday party room, etc. The employees are friendly and don't micromanage, but gently remind you of the rules if they are being broken. This makes for an enjoyable and safe time. On Tuesday's you get 2 hours for the price of one and you must purchase their special get air socks if you don't have them already (they are grippy and make you feel like Spider-Man when climbing/jumping on their vertical curved trampolines! It was about $18 (with socks) to jump and it was highly worth it... It's Something to do AND a great lymphatic workout! Go check it out!

Let's face it, Alaska is very limited when it comes to kid-friendly fun places. Shockwave…read moreTrampoline Park is 1 out of the handful. Shockwave is located on the Eastside of town. It sits at the end of a mostly abandoned strip mall. It is noticeably more spacious than its competitors. Like all places that require a waiver, try to get that taken care of online, before you're there physically. It's not uncommon to experience an incompetent employee working the pay desk, and holding everyone up. Give yourself plenty of time and exercise patience...it's for the kids. There are lots of tables available for you to sit and spread out. I appreciate the long tabletop with stools, that sits directly in front of the trampoline area, so you can further helicopter parent. There are rock walls, arcade games, and other random items for the children to enjoy, in addition to, the trampolines. They sell dip-n-dots ice cream as well as pizza and other snacks. Naturally, Shockwave is starting to show its age in some areas. What's important to me, is that everything was safe and looked clean, including the bathrooms. My kids always have a blast and tire themselves out here. Till' next time Shockwave Trampoline Park!

I live in Oregon and have been trying to purchase a family membership for them as a Christmas gift. In the last eight (8) days, calling nearly every day and sometimes multiple times a day my expereince has been disappointing. I have yet to reach any live person with whom I can place a phone order. Their website to join is a deadend, besides which I cannot sign a waiver for them. There is no email option I've found for outreach. I want to pay for the membership over the phone and have them notify the recipients of their pending membership. However, despite mutiple voicemail messages left in the Admin mailbox I have yet to speak with anyone. I tried the phone option for speaking to a live person working onsite but was disconnected twice after waiting a long while for someone to answer. Unless someone can walk in I don't see how to purchase a family membership. Too bad.

Service is good, they're friendly. Prices are pretty normal I think for a coffee shop. For kids the play is hit or miss. Sometimes there's big kids who get into the infant area, sometimes the kids are overly aggressive and parents don't supervise their children. But this time was good, no bullies to my daughter, she got to drive the little bus and play construction. It's wildly stimulating, with sounds, kids and bright lights everywhere. They're definitely different from when I was a kid. If you haven't been in the past decade, there's no animatronics fixed to a stage but there is still music and life size Chuck E. Roaming around. My daughter liked the games because she's three. There was a good mix of games for little kids, rides and an assortment for larger kids or adults. We got the tokens loaded onto a card instead of a timed card so it'll be a few returns before we max it out. The price wasn't all that bad. Despite the conspiracy theories about mismatched leftover pizza slices they actually appear to come out fresh from one whole pizza. The pizza itself was alright. By no means bad but used to be a lot better. The ranch tastes mid but the same as other locations in the lower 48. As far as service it was 50/50. Some of the people working do not care and are not very friendly but the young lady behind the register was super. It did take 35 minutes to get pizza from the time we ordered until the buzzer went off. The fries are not my type but they're a safe food for my baby's allergies. They appeared baked instead of fried. Overall not a bad experience but not as great as it once was but maybe I'm just getting old and times are changing.

Visited CEC for the first time in a few years…read more I immediately noticed how minimalist it's become and I like it. Definitely a cleaner vibe. I like how you use the cards/machines for games. I imagine lines get long during peak hours. Luckily we were there at opening. Most games were brand new and easy to use for my toddler. They even have a little jumping area that will require you to visit the front desk for non-slip socks. Plenty of seating up and downstairs, the booths look new and updated. I unfortunately cannot comment on the food this review but CEC usually has very decent pizza, wings, and salad. Next time! Those bathrooms are still gag worthy though. I want to say the flooring right before the bathroom was completely soaked through. As someone with sensory issues I was mortified to feel the squish under my feet. All staff encountered were welcoming and helpful.
