We came to play mini golf! I was actually surprised how empty it was for a Friday night. Nobody was playing any games and there were three groups total in the mini golf area. I think we spent maybe 30 minutes playing the 18 holes with two people. I like the theming of the golf areas, one underwater and one arctic. The holes were kind of simple, but a few had cool things sprinkled in. Maybe 4 total had something cool. It was $9 for 18 holes, each person. We had a kids Birthday party here it's November and yes it's cold outside. But it's FREEZING INSIDE this building. All of the kids were miserable cause they were freezing we all had to wear our full winter gear inside. It's so dark in the "party room". 9/10 of the arcade games did not work. Definitely not worth the money. $200 to rent the "room" and then $20 per person/ kid on top of that to golf. It was just pathetic to be completely honest. They are many other places to host bday part events that are well worth the money and price. I wouldn't recommend this or do it again. read more

Such a fun place! Indoor putt putt with neon lights. They have two 9-hole courses. Plus a lot of other games for a super reasonable price. I came here as a planned school field trip. The owners were super friendly and accommodated my group of kids. We reserved the "birthday room" and brought pizza and drinks. The kids had a blast. Fun and seemingly inexpensive place. It is small so you can rub out of things to do pretty fast, so don't expect to be here all day. That said it does provide a nice couple of hours to entertain yourself or others. Unfortunately the day we went seemed to have rude customers who while we were playing our golf hole those behind seemed to want to start hitting their balls in our game. That happened three times. This Place!! OH MY GOSH! Amazballs We went for a friends birthday so we had the party room reserved, brought in food & drinks celebrating our birthdays then it was off to golf. Hey!! This place is for all ages, I'm going out on a ledge but I think the adults had more fun then the kids we saw. The employees were super nice, cleaning all the time & keeping a spot on personality. Once you get your putter & balls.. time to go wild. Hey I'm not the best golfer but I did extremely good with it being neon & with 3-d glasses on . You won't be disappointed going here. This place is a TRIP. Holy cow. I've never experienced anything like Putters Wild before. I've never done acid, but I'm thinking it might be something like a visit to Putters Wild. There's two 9 course holes. If you choose to do both like we did, it's a steep $12 plus a dollar for the 3-D glasses. The courses are very cool and VERY disorienting. We had to take a break in-between the two courses because we were all getting nauseated. It was a lot of fun, but the 12 dollars was painful. Your score card includes a buy one get one half off for next time, so that makes it less spendy next time around. Things to consider before you visit: The location is tucked WAY back in an industrial park and is a little tricky to find. Just keep going... it really is back there. It's dark and disorienting. Not a good activity for the elderly or very small, skittish children. They offer party packages, ranging from $130-300. read more

Fun, inexpensive indoor mini golf in Anchorage. They have a few arcade games, as well as a room with air cannons that shoot foam balls at each other. There is also a trampoline/basketball setup that two kids can jump on to burn off some energy. Plus Virtual Reality sets to play games on and air hockey. The real fun is the mini golf. There are two courses that are 3D (highly recommended) and have themes of Pacific and Arctic. Great way to spend a few hours for a few bucks and the kiddos will love it. Ok, yes, it smells slightly nostalgic of a daycare or McDonald's playground, a good mixture of bleach and feet. However, I've been a couple times with my nieces and they love it. I brought my 14-year-old "little" here one Saturday and we had a great time going through the course. A group of us went and arrived at 9 pm. We knew they closed at 10. The guy who charged us gave us the 18 hole price. When we said something he said "If you only make it through 9 I'll refund you" After 9 it was 950 so we went to get our refund. The story then changed to "Oh sorry we don't do refunds" and were told we could keep playing but to try and be faster. We finished the rest of our round. Something Fun to do with the kids - especially here in Anchorage where there is "nothing" to do. Neat 3D Glasses & Black Lights & neon colors make it more than just mini-golf. My teenager liked it and my toddler loved it- although at first she was kind if scared walking down the dark hallway to the golf area. This is a prime location for indoor activities in Alaska's cold weather. I tried this place out after multiple recommendations from family members. I have never heard of such a thing in my area. It is definitely fun from the get go but starts to become repetitive very quickly. Excellent place to have a birthday party!! The party room was large enough for 11 children and 13 or so adults, with lots of extra chairs so everyone could sit down. The owner was super accommodating and extremely helpful. They had just installed a virtual gaming system, and it was a BIG hit. The Blaster room was also super fun, and the kids loved it. I absolutely LOVE this place. The location is kind of inconvenient. If it was easier to get to, I think there would be more business. HOWEVER, the inside was so brightly colored that it was cheerful to walk into. They have a pool table and arcade games, a blaster thing, and, of course, 3D putt putt! The prices aren't too bad. I was able to get military; ten dollars per person for 18 holes and 5 per person for a rematch. A little pricy I suppose, but a lot better than some other amusements. The actual was course was wonderful. It's split into nine holes a piece with two different themes: Pacific (ocean) and Polar (snow). Everything is brightly colored and decorated wonderfully. It was a lot of fun for my boyfriend and I to blow an hour after dinner and a movie on our date night. My only complaint is that each little course is REALLY small. So you kinda go through it fast. I definitely recommend taking a big group with you, otherwise you'll be through it pretty fast. But it's definitely worth going and checking out! read more

First experience there, they had a technical malfunction and power went out about halfway through. After finding our way out we were not offered a refund or round next time. Discarding the first experience as maybe a fluke, we went back again. We had a horrible experience here. It is the absolute worst place to have a Birthday party. The owner is extremely rude, unprofessional, and had a full blown argument with me in front of our guests. I have never been treated so badly before. They allow no time prior for set up for parties just FYI, even if they tell you in advance that they do, they DONT. We just had our son's birthday party here, and it was wonderful. The owner was very kind to our group, and is definitely motivated to provide a safe, quality experience for families. in previous years i have very much enjoyed visiting Putter's Wild. i have found it to be a fun and enjoyable experience, as has my whole family. however, twice now that i've come, it has not been open, even half an hour after it was supposed to have been. There are a few separate families here that have been waiting to go in, and yet none can due to lack of staff and the place being empty and closed. It is dark for the glow in the dark artwork (which is fantastic! I can't see 3-D but the kids loved it). The different holes are fun and challenging. Absolutely horrible customer service. We bought dealsavers to take our family over the holiday break, and the owner refused to let us use them; he said we could only use 1 at a time since all the dealsavers were in 1 name. He said he loses $ when people use these, and his goal is to make money. I don't care if he loses $- don't put the deal out there; and he lost $50 tonight by not honoring the dealsaver for us- we still had to pay for a kid and we were planning to let each kid try the jumpshot & shooter thing, which was $50 extra for 7 people. The kids were so disappointed that we weren't able to play; my 7 year old had gone to a birthday party here a few weeks ago and was talking about how much fun we would all have all day long. Ironically, the owner said his goal is to make $, yet he lost a lot of money tonight, and in future times as well because we will never go back, and we will be sharing our experience with our friends/family. We've owned a small business here in Anchorage, and would never have treated our customers the way we were treated tonight. The owner even asked (when I told him that) "you'd even use a coupon illegally?" Yes, actually, we did accept expired coupons to keep the customer coming back! People remember things like if you go out of your way to help them, or if you are horribly rude and unaccommodating and don't care. We love supporting small businesses, but we will never go to this one again, and we will be telling people we know about this.
