So fun! We come every week. Great staff, great price, and now digital games! Go learn to throw with their great helpers.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and ensured my husband had a great birthday celebration.

I couldn't give this place a better rating. Their customer service is amazing. They make the entire experience fun and a time to remember. Went on a date with the husband and decided to try something new. The place was full but we managed to get in after a 30 minute wait. A reservation is something I'd definitely recommend. They taught us different games, let us throw different weapons and would teach how to throw each one. If the idea of throwing axes is a little daunting- just know they have great employees who make it easy to understand. At the end they even offer to take pictures of your party. We will be coming back and next time we're bringing the kids. It's fun for date nights, family nights or nights when you're just trying to find something entertaining to do. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

These guys make throwing so much fun. We will always go back to Frosted Axe when it's time to whoop some axe.

Taking a photo how much fun we had

It was fun with our family. Batman, ninja stars was fun ninja stars was fun. Some people suck that axing, but we still had a great time and also exit in we did rock paper scissors for the employee to give us a sticker, which was funny

Had so much fun throwing axes here. They keep the place very clean. Hand sanitizers on each table. I highly recommend for a non-sedentary fun! Zane was awesome :) teaching us techniques. If you're a ninja, you'll like their "ninja stars" :D Equipment is well taken cared of.

    Batman-type stars.

I wish I could give more than five stars! The proprietor is super friendly and personable. He gave me professional instruction and was incredibly patient with me. I will definitely be back!

Relieving some form of stress- the best way possible!

When I first came in, I was immediately greeted at the front desk. There is a waiver they ask you to sign and payment then you are on your way to throw axes! The venue is spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Before you even touch an axe, there will be "axe master" to teach you the techniques and safety instructions. I was paired with the owner, Mike who is an incredibly personable person. I discovered that I am coordinated-challenged because throwing axes does not come to me naturally but Mike and his other employer were friendly enough to give me form corrections that helped me reach my bullseye! We reserved our slot up until 11pm and some of us ran late as we were arriving from the valley but Mike was pretty flexible because there were no more guests at the business- he told us we all could stay longer. I also got the chance to throw other weapon that you see ninjas use in the movies! It was a good morale booster because I was starting to get frustrated with throwing axes in the beginning. I'd definitely come back to this business in the near future. P.S. it is an amazing stress reliever! Because this reviewer happened to be on Whole30 at time of the visit, she realized that throwing weapons are also a great vice!

I have heard stories about how it was quite the place back in the day, but now it just strikes me as odd. They have less oil and gas folks than they once did which speaks to how anchorage has changed, but I never would have expected a baby to appear in the bar of the PCA but it happened. The food is nothing special and the service isn't the quickest but if you want to have an a good place to people watch, this is it!

It's private and exclusive, but not in a stuffy or bougie way... more like a quiet place to have a delicious, quick lunch and a meeting, where the staff knows your name and provides excellent service. They have brought back the soup and salad bar, which is the best in town by far. So there's a super quick lunch option for anyone working in midtown, without getting stuck with the same old boxed salads you're used to. If you're in for a bit more of the long haul, the wings, steak bites, pork bellies, and phillys are all outstanding. There seems to be a contingent trying to make the two-martini lunch cool again, and while I will not join them (until 5), I applaud and support their efforts. Still a private club, so not everyone can go, but getting set up as a member is cost effective compared to what I think people might be imagining. Check it out!

It is one of few Anchorage event facilities available to rent, that can hold over 150 people. Parking is ample and the building is secluded enough from neighboring homes. I like that all rental information to include costs, deposits, etc is laid out clearly online. You will not need to contact anyone directly until you are ready. I believe they even have bouncy houses available to rent. Like most facilities, they have staff there watching. Sometimes they're cool, sometimes they're annoyingly saying the music is too loud when we in the crowd, can barely hear it. Gotta take the good with with the bad ya know?!

It's actually a really nice facility. Reminds me of something Howard Roarkian in nature. It's in the woods, and it kinda blends in with the woods nicely. It's blockly. It's blocks on blocks, in the woods. Wood blocks in woods. With long rectangular windows through. Slotted wood blocks in woods. That's why I don't talk about architecture very often. I'm not 100% clear on the rules but, the way I understand it is: if you have a non-profit, and you want to use this facility during the week. Then, you can. For free. I go here once a month for the Mountaineering Club of Alaska meetings. If you use it on the Weekends, you gotta pay. Driving into here/finding it is VERY confusing. Make SURE you look at the map I uploaded to the Yelp photos. If you need to be here ON TIME: I HIGHLY suggest you scout it out or come much earlier than your event. You have been warned!

I didn't get to see other fellow Yelpers, but it wouldn't have been easy given how packed the place was. The entire main hall was filled with vendors displaying the rich culture of Norway, Finland, and Sweden. There was a wide variety of arts & crafts, winter-style attire like boots as well as thick sweatshirts, novelty items with the national flags like pins, stickers, or Christmas ornaments, and my personal favorite, the food. There were various candies and chocolates imported from Norway and Finland. Some of the items I picked out were two milk chocolate bars, one with hazelnuts, a chocolate horse with punch filling on the inside....(can't wait to try that one...), and Swedish gummy candies. In addition to the vendors, there was also a dining area in one corner next to a food booth that offers traditional dishes from the region. Two of the items on the menu were sold out, hardly a surprise with the amount of people that were seated at the chairs and tables. I was fortunate enough to get the last order of Risengrot, a Norwegian rice porridge very similar to American oatmeal with a thick consistency. One of the employees behind the counter recommended adding sugar and cinnamon. It was very delicious and made for a great afternoon snack. Risengrot is a holiday staple during Christmas time in Norway. In addition to the candies, I came across a 2020 calendar that showed the beautiful countryside and picturesque towns with a backdrop of the fjords in the distance. I had a great time meeting and talking to everyone here, some of them locals who own businesses here in town. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back for the next one.
