Safety - 5 Stars
********** As a security director for the aviation industry, safety is high on my list. The refs were good about telling people to keep their masks on, which is super important if you want to keep your vision. They were also courteous to remind people to put on their barrel covers before leaving the field. The safety briefing was very thorough and included everything that needs to be covered for even the first time players. They checked guns to make sure they were within allowable specs. They made it important to understand the 'surrender rule', or aka, 'don't shoot anyone with their gun up'. A+ For Safety
Fields - 4 Stars
********** We played 2 fields in the 4 hours we were there, 1 Large Field and 1 Speed Field. The fields were decent and there were plenty of bunkers to not have to double up. They are well played grass fields, so expect to get a little dusty/dirty/muddy depending on the weather. After all, this is Alaska!
Pricing - 5 Stars
********** Very fair pricing. Well maintained rental equipment. Paint was affordable and accurate. Staff seems very resourceful when I observed them helping a man fix his private gun.
Refs - 4 Stars
********** 1 ref for each game. I observed them doing their best to manage each game independently. They did a good job to ensure safety and call out players tactfully, but naturally, some calls were missed.
Players - 5 Stars
********** There were a lot and they varied in age and ability! Because of the range in skill and experience, the player etiquette will also range. HOWEVER, the staff does a good job to spread games out!! There were private games, pro games, open games, amateur games, etc. CHOOSE WISELY!! Game timing was good as the staff keeps the games going as fast as the fields can fill up.
Overall - 5 Stars
********** We had a good time, it is paintball after all! Seeing the fields progress over the last five years, ensures me I'll be coming back for the next five years! read more
